Det är en lugn plats där du kan njuta av skönheten i tusen öar och den historiska staden Sackets Harbor utan publik och buller. Detta är en riktig timmerstuga inbäddat i en vacker tungt skogsområde på Military Road bara 2 miles från Sackets Harbor byn. Detta är ett fridfullt utrymme där du kan lämna dina problem och bekymmer bakom. Stugan har 2 sovrum inredda med en full size-säng och en uppsättning våningssängar i ett sovrum och en queen size-logg säng i sovrummet med en glidande glasdörr till däck. Det stora sovrummet har också en bedårande fåfänga med spegel. Stugan har ett litet pentry med bord och stolar. Det finns ett litet kylskåp, kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn och bordplattaugn. Det finns också en Weber gasgrill utomhus för grillning. Vi har mycket tur att ha högkvalitativt stadsvatten som kontinuerligt regleras.
Cabin är i en privat trädbevuxen miljö i anslutning till många tunnland av statens mark. Ingången till Black River Bay ligger på statslandet bakom stugan. Kabinen ligger inom några miles till två båtlanseringar ... Sackets Harbor och Dexter. Den pittoreska atmosfären i Sackets Harbor, en historisk by med gourmetrestauranger och presentbutiker, är bara två miles away. Den har en perfekt liten stad atmosfär. Den livliga aktiviteten hos Arsenal Street är bara en kort 6 miles away livliga med restauranger, butiker, en galleria och underhållning. Vänligen inga husdjur och ingen rökning i stugan. Vi har nu gratis internet !!!

Sackets Harbor

Nice quiet spot. Close to town and kayak launch. We expected to have a stove but none in the cabin. No problem, used the microwave, toaster oven and gas grill.

Graduation weekend

Really a nice place. Gave us ideas for our WV getaway cabin. Diane was a phone call away if needed but all was fine. Very relaxing and convenient to everything Sackets (including those unbelievable stuffed waffles @ Tin Pan Alley.) Great weekend. TY.

Long weekend away

This was a very relaxing stay for my wife and I. It is a short drive to stores and restaurants, but still very quiet and peaceful. It was still chilly out, so we didn't spend anytime outside. The kitchen is minimal, so we cooked breakfast on the grill using disposable aluminum pans. We made the short, simple drive into Sackets Harbor multiple times to eat and watch the sunset over the water. The cabin is small, but very cute, and Diane answered any questions we had.

Adults getaway

Four adults, three in their 80's, enjoyed this trip to Sackets Harbor. Although there were no pics of the living space, there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and watch a movie on a rainy day. The fridge was small but we used a cooler outside for drinks and brought our own electric fry pan for some cooking. The deck was lovely and mostly shaded. It was easy to get to Dexter for groceries/ice or ice cream (Lickety Split was excellent) and close to Sackets. The owner was very responsive and we appreciated this. Overall, we had a great trip and this cabin met our needs very well.

Beautiful cabin in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin! The location was perfect! We were close to all the areas we wanted to visit, yet we were also away from all the hustle and bustle, which is what we like. The cabin was plenty big enough for our family of 6, and had everything we needed.

Hoad family vacation 2019

We had a wonderful time during our stay the cottage was very cozy with lots of space. We were close to Sackets harbor and a short drive to water town and Alexandria bay we also visited many wineries, breweries, and distilleries. We all had a very good time. Thank you

Nice little cabin in nice area

Just as described, pictures very accurate. Other reviews not exaggerated. Was very hot when we were there, and the A/C did a nice job of cooling down the main living area. Nice short trip to the village of Sackets Harbor (kind of reminded us of being in the Hamptons, except on a much smaller scale, less expensive, and much less snobier). Short trip to the St. Lawrence River towns. Wineries were nice (must take the trip to Tug Hill), breweries were good. Lots to do in this area, and nice to come back to the cabin to unwind.

A charming little cabin in a very convenient location,

Cozy cabin in the woods

Our family had a great time at your cabin. We enjoyed the privacy and the cozy feel (just like home). Cabin was very clean and towels and linens were provided. My only complaints would be that the beds in the guest room weren't the most comfy and the bathroom had a shower stall, no tub. Made it hard to bathe young children. That aside, I would recommend to others/including my family members who vacation in the area often.

Idyllic

When planning a trip to upstate New York to visit our families, we found the Home Away site and thru that we arranged to rent this property. When we arrived, we found that this lovely log cabin was exactly as described on the website. It was spotlessly clean and neat when we arrived. The owners have set it up to make sure guests have an enjoyable stay. The cabin is close to historic Sackets Harbor, Cape Vincent, and the City of Watertown. There are so many places to visit, so many excellent restaurants and shopping, and activities to engage in, as well as beautiful Lake Ontario - all within just a few miles of this cabin. We have recommended this cabin to some friends, and we most definitely hope to rent it again!
