Beautiful home and space by the river! So many great bikes, water activities, and beautiful sunrises. Panty of space for the whole family and both clean and well stocked. Can't wait to come back next year!

Santiam River House in Mill City

Wonderful house right on river. Had everything we needed and host was easy to connect with when we had a question. Beautiful little town! Easy access to other places we wanted to visit. We will definitely book again!

Girls hiking trip

Owner answered all my questions promptly. Loved the river. That was our evening ritual to go and sit in the river every night. The place was a central location for all our hikes

The pictures online did not do justice to this home. I honestly was happy to find the listing with such a large area so affordable. When we got there, I realized how big how open and how clean this place was and I was absolutely floored completely worth the money and I would totally stay here again.

2nd stay just as good as the first

This was our second stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped in the kitchen, garage (rafts, fishing, ping pong etc), blankets, towels etc. The property is in a great location and the river is literally in the backyard. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing family time

Great place to gather with family for thanksgiving (or anytime that revolves around food) as the kitchen is fully equipped. Various spices have been left , and lots of pots/pans. Bedrooms have good privacy.and are nice and dark

Beautiful Location

Great for our large family. The town folk were so friendly. Plenty to do.Well stocked and close enough to activities. Games for all ages. 74 year old grandma even floated the river. Wish we had planned a longer trip.

Relaxing Family Time

The location on the river cannot be beat. The house is set up for large gatherings without a lot of fuss. Set up as a happy space for both kids and adults. There’s enough living room and dining seating to easily accommodate our large family - this is always a challenge for us as our extended family grows. Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful stay.

The best possible vacation in the Corona time

House was clean, and large for a family of 7 kids and 5 adults .. Inflatable rafting devices worked well and it was A GREAT FUN on the river. Lot of air leaking rafts, but you can find some that are ok, if you look for it .. WIFi was ok.

Thank you for the review. We did a survey of the rafts and they definitely suffered some wear and tear over the last year. We have purchased two new rafts and taken the old ones away, and also added some personal inter-tubes.
