"Hitta sandity"
Detta 5 sovrum hem beläget på en semi-oceanfront mycket har bättre "fri utsikt" än de flesta hus vid havet i 4WD-området. De nya ägarna har nyligen placerat det i vårt hyresprogram för de sista återstående veckorna under säsongen 2019. Den tredje nivån har en rymlig öppen planlösning l med kök, matsal, vardagsrum och skeppsvakt. Det stora sovrummet utanför vardagsrummet har tillgång till det främre däck med underbar havsutsikt och panoramautsikt över stranden. På baksidan av vardagsrummet hittar du ett bonusrum med fotbollsbord och en våningssäng för de små.
Den andra nivån har 3 hela sovrum och en fjärde omvandlas till ett spelrum med biljardbord och en bäddsoffa. Denna nivå har också gott om däckutrymme med tillgång till en badtunna.
På markplanet hittar du främre och bakre ingångsdörrar, bänkbord för fiskrengöring, utomhusdusch och commode och en parkstil. Den främre gården har en sanddyn med havre som bidrar till charmen i detta väl belägna hem.

This was an excellent place to stay. Home was clean unbelievable views just amazing. If I had a negative it would be a soundbar for the TV is needed. Also 4x4 is highly necessary in order to get to property you will travel on beach and sand. Don't forget to Air Down your tires or you will get stuck. That's the good & bad!! you will love it!!

we found Sandity at Sandity

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Sandity. My only complaints are there wasn't a second refrigerator like most beach houses (for drinks, etc) and that we couldn't see the 4th of July fireworks from the deck because the house Nextdoor blocked the view. However, when the AC went out on the second floor, the rental company was REALLY FAST to bring portable units until the service man could get there in 48 hours...communication was wonderful and I highly recommend this company again!

Very nice home, amazing location, horse sighings frequently

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having never been to the 4X4 beach, we didn't know what to expect for ease of access. It was better than we thought, but wow, the sand can get deep to navigate. For sure need to air up and air down tires each time you come and go from the beach. We felt it kept traffic away, which we liked. The beach here is incredible - flat like Destin,FL, tons of shells to find, easy to walk. The house is exactly as we expected it. Tasteful decor, furniture was very nice. Floor plan worked well for us. Interior was clean when we arrived. Hot tub was great and we loved the pool. We had to call for service on the dryer and the team was there within an hour or two to remedy it. Impressive! Things I was disappointed in - kitchen is lacking in major areas of not having a can open, baking tins, no wine glasses, no real mixing bowls, the trash can is way too small for 8 people. The linens provided to us smelled at first....bad....I had to wash them before I would let anyone use them. The kitchen towels given had seen many better days, thin, fraying stained. I couldn't get the smell out of them and opted to use paper towels the rest of the week. The sheets on the master bed would not stay on the bed. I woke up many mornings sleeping on the mattress cover because the sheets popped off. That was frustrating. These are small things and we could remedy on our second trip by bringing these items. We would absolutely rent here again without hesitation. I would just hope the kitchen gets outfitted better. The Food Lion complex it seems is where all the shopping and dining is mostly found, close to the home. There is an ice cream place nearby as well.You can feel the love in the home and waking up having the horses on the dunes out front was something I will never forget! My morning coffee at home just isn't the same! I already want to go back! This is a special space if you want to decompress and forget about life for awhile.

Family Vacation 2024

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house! Being right on the beach was great and very secluded which made for a peaceful stay. We saw wild horses everyday and some came right up to the fence around the pool. The house was very clean and felt like our home away from home! Will plan on visiting again very soon :)

Outer Banks Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE arrived at the proper time, 4 PM, just as high tide left. didnt releaize that you were stuck on the island from 10 AM until 4 PM from the tide covering the beach road. the home while the location is great if your goal is to beach full time, was a bit run down, not well kept but clean. Lots of sand and forget it if you dont come in 4WD truck/jeep. Wild horses were pretty cool. The hot tub was great but very dirty, didnt scare us, proba should have.

Family Vacation

My family and I stayed for a week to end our summer before the kids go back to school. The property was well maintained, had everything we needed and communication with the host was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described. The pool was such a great feature because one day the beach was just too hot to be comfortable and have the kids play. There were plenty of games and movies to also keep the kids entertained. We had an overall amazing experience at this property.

Wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful week at Finding Sandity. The house was exactly as advertised. The wild horses roamed freely and we seen them throughout the week. One day they literally came right up to the pool fence grazing. We also got to see sea turtle eggs being buried (the sea turtle volunteers moved the original nest due to the likelihood of survival, and a 5ft shark caught right in front of our house. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to be back soon in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another amazing week at Finding Sandity. You absolutely cannot beat the location, views, home and amenities! This year we had wild horses roaming and grazing right outside our door. There is nothing more magical than sipping coffee, watching the sunrise and having five wild horses grazing right in front of your deck! Memories to last a lifetime! The managers are incredibly helpful and friendly. We can't say enough wonderful things about this rental!

We really enjoyed our stay with our entire family and little children. It provided a wonderful place with a mix of nature, adventure, start gazing, and just relaxation. Definitely recommended!

4th year with Corova, 1st at finding sandity

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Laura was incredible as usual. This is the 4th year we have used Carova Cottages, it was our first year at FINDING SANDITY. The location of the house cant be beat, the Views , wild horses and access to the beach were all A+. The house fell a little short compared to the other carova cottage houses we have experienced in the past. The internet here was terrible, we kept getting kicked off wifi, and often times the TV wouldnt work. Laura stopped by and dropped off her personal modem/hot spot for us to use. That seemed to help a little bit with the wifi issues. The bigger issue was the upstairs AC didnt work, they had 4 window units in the windows, but the temperature upstairs was always over 75 and one night it was 78, made for uncomfortable conditions. We were told the HVAC guy was coming to fix it on Wednesday, he never showed up. The refrigerator didnt have an ice maker which meant we had to run out and get bags of ice multiple times during our stay. Laura did tell us about a ice delivery service we could use. The other negative was that the area in between the pool and the house was all sand, making it impossible to keep sand out of the pool and the house. The house was Fine, the other houses we have stayed at through carova have been better. We will continue to use Carova because of Laura, she always goes above and beyond. If this is the first house you are renting in OBX you will love it, i think we were spoiled from our previous experiences.

Stay at Finding Sandity

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, I would like to Thank Laura at Carova Cottages rentals. She is an amazing and wonderful agent to work with and I would recommend her every time! Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same about the house. The mattresses downstairs are uncomfortable. The King bed downstairs felt like sleeping on a Futon. The bathroom toilets felt like they are recommended for children. Extremely low and if you have back problems not comfortable. The furniture in the living room are the same. Very uncomfortable to get up from and not a recliner anywhere. The kitchen had to be the most disappointing. The silverware was cheap. I purchased nice forks and left them for the next family. Cookie sheets lacking quality. Blender was broken. And I’ve never been in a beach home with no crab hammers or seafood utensils! (If you want to enjoy cooking at home, this is not the home for you. ). The view of the ocean and the swimming pool are the only reason I will give this home a 2 star review. Hopefully in the future, this home will be updated because it could be an amazing gem.

Wonderful beach home,so much to enjoy

The house was beautiful. We did have trouble locating it as the mile marker for our turn over the dunes was absent. There were horses to enjoy watching every day but one, the upper deck was stellar for spending time sitting out, taking in the views, the walk to the beach over the dunes required energetic walking which was fun. We thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience.

Wild Paradise

Beautiful wild area. 4 x 4 beaches were a thrill! Loved the wild horses! House was very comfortable and a plus to have our own private pool and hot tub! Pure relaxation with beauty all around! So nice to be off a crowded beach!

A perfect place!

We loved this house! Everything was clean and perfectly as described! We came in at the tail-end of a stormy 2 weeks, so the roads leading into the house were a little surprising. Once we got over the initial scare of driving over the steep sandy hills, we actually had fun with it! The only recommendation we had for the house would be to add an additional small fridge somewhere for drinks. We just ended up using a cooler since the fridge was packed with food. Other than that, it was fabulous!
