Vår fredliga egendom ligger i hjärtat av Roan Mountain, TN, inbäddat mot Appalachian Mountains. Detta fyra sovrum / ett badrum hem erbjuder en stor chans för familj och vänner att tillflyktsort och njuta av landskapet i vackra East TN. Vårt område lockar vandrare, bladkikare och naturälskare! Kom och njut av sevärdheter som Carvers Gap, Laurel Fork Falls, The Blue Hole, Grandfather Mountain, och många fler! Gästerna kan njuta av vilda djur från stegen i vår egendom, Heaton Creek och integritet på vår plats. Vi ligger också bara fem minuter från vår lokala Roan Mountain State Park; ett bra ställe för familjen att utforska, vandra och använda faciliteter som den lokala poolen och vandringslederna!

Vårt hem är en bra bekväm vistelse för vänner / familj som är med bröllopsfester på Triple J gård. Vi är inom gångavstånd till bröllopsyntet.

För de som reser på vintern är vi 25 minuter från stranden och Sugar Mountain; vårt hem kan rymma skidåkare och snowboards kommer till området som vill riva upp backarna.

De som kommer till området för våren och hösten Bristol Race, kolla in oss. Vi är 40 minuter från spåret. Vårt hem erbjuder en lugn plats att hålla sig borta från tävlingstrafiken.

Detta hus innehåller ett komplett kök, uteplats grill, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, kabel / wifi för att rymma gäster. Den nedre sovrummet är utrustad med en queen size-säng, medan sovrummen på övervåningen båda har en dubbelsäng och en enkelsäng. Detta hus kommer sova sju gäster bekvämt.

Relaxing nostalgia

This was such a cozy home with great character. Our grandchildren visited almost daily and we had such a great time exploring the river and playing baseball in the meadow. Nate was excellent about ensuring all comforts were available. Absolutely hope to stay here again.

Stunning!

The home and property was stunning! Someone’s home place that’s been preserved in time. The decor in each room was perfect. The property had a creek running behind the house that we could hear while relaxing on the back porch. Several beautiful apple and pear trees. The whole place was so relaxing! The property owner was very friendly and accommodating!

Roan Mountain R&R

This was a wonderful place to stay. The children looked out the many windows constantly to see what new little animals and birds they could see. The porches were wonderful for sitting and watching the fireflies at night. Each day we were visited at least once by a deer who enjoyed the stream and the apples growing on the tree. We also saw a variety of birds and a few bunny rabbits. The area we were in was also very conducive to relaxation with the beautiful mountain to explore as well as other nearby areas such as swimming holes, other state parks and, the kids favorite, the backyard dinosaur park about 30 minutes or so. All in all, the house was perfectly located and had enough room that you could sit in your own peaceful area!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and homey with lots of seating arrangements to sit and talk. The location was central to the State Park and other points of interest.

Weekend gathering with family

Overall the place was very homey but the listing states there was a Queen bedroom and there were only full beds. Also lists a second half bathroom which we didn’t find. Some of the chairs wet were in poor shape as was several other things in the house.

A Happy Thanksgiving!

Our family of 6 stayed at the property for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. This is an historic home, so you have to trade some conveniences for quaint charm. We liked the location, homeyness and beauty of the home/grounds.

Bristol Speedway trip

Perfect getaway for our family trip to Bristol Motor Speedway. I only wish we would have booked an extra day to enjoy the property more! The kids fully enjoyed the large backyard and the babbling creek! We definitely plan to return!

A Trip Back to Grandma’s House

This place is just so relaxing and has everything you need. I loved both porch views and my husband fished in the roaring Heaton Creek that runs behind the house. On the back porch you hear it and see the birds feeding at the feeders. Nathanael was a super host and in contact. Great rental.

Only thing I would say that's is a game changer for this property would be all the old antiques ! Very nerve wrecking with young children! But other than that no complaints at all we absolutely loved it. ☺️

A Quiet Place in the Country

This was our 1st Vrbo. The host, Nate, communicated to us very thoroughly. There were instructions at the place with clear expectations. This was our first extended stay in eastern TN and it was nice to be in such close proximity to the mountains. The only comment I would suggest for improvement would be instructions for the HVAC system. That said, Nate was readily available to respond to any questions.

Wonderful getaway!

Home away from home

Loved the visit .its like your went to visit someone and they just let you stay and they left..its quite and peaceful and country is beautiful .if you want away for all the hussel and tourists this is a good place to enjoy that .plenty room for families. We had 6 adults and a 3 yr old and plenty room..if we are back in the area its a good place to stay..thanks to Nate for the experience. ROLL TIDE !

Nice place

We were here for a very short period of time, but it was a beautiful house. My only small complaint was that the beds were all too small for my husband and I to comfortably sleep. There's also no cell reception, so if that is important to you, its something to note. There's wi-fi, and that was sufficient for us.

Our family enjoyed this home the short time we were there. Plenty of room for the family to rest, a creek in the back for the smaller children to enjoy. Early in the mornings we noticed deer right in the back yard. We would definitely stay here again if traveling in the area.

Family Fun Pit Stop

We were all headed as a family to join the rest of our family in Gatlinburg area for a reunion. We came to the area a day early to unwind and lessen the length of trip from home to the reunion. We found this gem of a house and it worked perfectly for our little crew. Adorable home, nostalgic, quiet, and just what we all needed to relax from a busy work week before the craziness of reunion began lol … Homeowner Nate was great in communicating to us and we will keep his house in mind if / when we make it back to TN someday ! Great place!
