Great Condo

This unit was perfect for our family getaway. The complex was very well maintained and quiet. The condo itself was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Walkable to the pier and shops. We will definitely be renting again in the future.

Family Friendly

We had a great stay! The condo was big enough that my family each had their own space, and it gave us the opportunity to cook together in the afternoon. There are 3 pools, small park, and pickle ball courts. We had a minor thing with the condo come up the first night, and the manager on duty was super fast at coming out and checking it over. I loved the communication I received from the property manager. All instructions and emails were clear and concise. I would stay here again.

Home away from home

We travel to St. Simon yearly and we never have a bad experience. The condo was nice and loved how close it was to the pier and our fave restaurant (Mullet Bay). Thank you for the easy self check-in and instructions for the property. The tenants that live their were a wonderful bonus such nice ppl. We heart St. Simon Island đŸïž

Quick trip to St Simons

We were only in town for the weekend so this was a good spot for the 5 of us. Very convenient to the pier, shopping and great restaurants. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy the pool or any of the community amenities. They have a coffee maker and a Kurig in the kitchen - it would have nice to have some coffee provided as well - just an extra touch. A nice place!

We enjoyed the condo, the community, and the location. Love that it was pet friendly. Area felt safe, even at night walking the dog.Kitchen sink needs replaced or repaired as there is rust on the front of it. There are other small easy to fix repairs that could be done. We stayed here a month, and the closets had a bunch or storage stuff in them like lamps, paint cans, baskets, household decorations, etc. Would have been beneficial to use this storage for our things. There was a snow/ice storm, and we were without power for 12 hours. Management kept us updated during that event. We did enjoy our stay here. Thank you.

We Love SSI

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed in various units at Ocean Walk over the years. OW has the right amenities for families and is dog friendly. We needed a 3 bedroom and R1 met our needs. It was decorated well and everything was clean. Nicely stocked kitchen but no cleaning products for counters etc. Washer & dryer was very efficient. The negative in R1 was the awful shower head in master bath. The water pressure was insane and you couldn’t stand under it or wash face under the hard pressure. It felt like it was skinning you. We used a plastic pitcher to catch water and pour over ourselves to avoid the extreme pressure. After being at the beach it’s nice to take a relaxing shower without being skinned. This shower will skin you. The other bathroom tub didn’t drain for 15 mins or so and there was no stopper for kids baths. The A/C unit leaked onto the hall floor at 70* which we only needed it that low at night (a sign over thermostat states don’t turn down to 69*). Fix R1 plumbing issues, these are easy fixes. We wouldn’t stay there again based on the plumbing issues. Any involvement I had with Emmons Realty was always positive and I’d rent from them again. Thanks.

Just what we were looking for!

A great stay in a nice condo in one of our favorite complexes! Nicely equipped, though would have been helpful to know there were plenty of beach towels and chairs to use on site. We would have left ours at home. Appreciate that it is pet friendly— but clean. Will rent again!

Bed and couch were just okay. No recliner or rocker. Master shower spray was not adjustable and was so powerful we couldn’t use it. I was very clean and well equipped.
