Inbäddat i denna stora, härliga träda kvarter, är en rustik tre sovrum strand stuga.

Det stora sovrummet har en queen size-säng, med en 80 cm LCD-TV med DVD-spelare. Sovrum två har en dubbelsäng och det tredje sovrummet har en dubbelsäng med en våningssäng på toppen plus en enda uppsättning britsar. Sammantaget det sover 9 personer.

Köket är kompakt och utrustad för alla dina matlagning eller underhållande behov. Det har ett badrum och en andra toalett.

Koka en grill på den främre verandan, eller sitta med en cuppa på baksidan och titta över trädtopparna. Huset sitter på toppen av kvarteret så det är en härlig utsikt.

Om avkopplande är vad du vill, väljer du i många böcker, filmer eller brädspel. Det finns något för alla.

Kaffe, ett dopp eller en promenad i nationalparken

Om kaffe är din "kopp te" eller slå butikerna, sedan en lätt 20 minuters promenad tar dig till huvudgatan i Sorrento för ändlösa cappuccino eller shopping tills du släpper.

Både havet och bukten stränder finns i närheten.

Inom meter till nationalparken, vackra vandringsleder finns där för dig att utforska den underbara kustlinje som är "halvön". Promenera till Coppins Back Beach för ett dopp i berget poolen eller annan kaffe på "All Smiles".

Weekendresa eller familjesemester

Perfekt för en romantisk helg för två. Eller det här huset är inställd för att tillgodose några par att träffas för en helg bort. De män kan ha en golfrunda medan kvinnorna skämma bort sig med en massage och ansiktsbehandling, sedan till butikerna.

Couldn’t ask for much more

We had a great stay - awesome location, good sized property and little touches that made all the difference. Would definitely recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate staying there again.

Southdown has for 20 years been our family’s favourite. A very homey home. Sitting in the sun filled lounge looking out at the tee trees you feel a million miles from home (and neighbours) Very comfortable beds, extra blankets and pillows in all 3 bedrooms, fabulously stocked cupboards, Jo has thought of absolutely everything.A leisurely walk to Sorrento township along Melbourne Road and access to the back beach track at the end of the street through bush land. We will definitely continue staying at Southdown

Great hide away

The place is well appointed, has all the facilities that we needed for our stay. Was such a delight to find that there were all the things you would need to prepare meals as far as condiments etc. Cannot praise Jo enough for what was made available to us. Beach get away

We were looking for a beach get away between the back beach and the bay and Southdown was the perfect find. Jo was very helpful and accommodating, the kitchen is amazingly well equipped including every spice, sauce or mustard you may need... if you have time for cooking. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable, outside dining area a hit with everyone. A definite find!

Lovely Beach House in great location

My husband and two children spent a week at Southdown over the summer. It is a lovely little beach house set amongst the tea-trees. With a basketball hoop for the kids and plenty of space to roam and relax we all had a great time away. Diamond Beach is close by with rock pools and cliffs for the kids to explore. A great little beach house that is well equipped and we would highly recommend!

A cosy family getaway

We just loved Southdown for our family Easter getaway. The care Jo has put into the property is second to none. The heater was on upon our rather chilly arrival and we immediately felt at home. The champagne chilling in the well stocked fridge with every condiment you could ask for was also a welcome touch. The property itself is very clean and cosy with comfy beds. It’s well stocked with many toys, board games, dvds, books and magazines. Tucking up on the front porch couch with a magazine and a coffee from the pod machine was lovely. The trees around the property also inspired many games for our little kids while my teen and partner played basketball. Our walks to nearby Diamond Bay and Sorrento back beach were stunning. We got to have quality downtime at Southdown and I will definitely be back. Thank you Jo for creating such a lovely getaway and for your exceptional care at each stage of the process.

Great Property

The property was neat and clean, well equipped; it had most things you need for a comfortable stay. The property is in a terrific location only a 2-3 minute drive to Sorrento main town and it catered very well for the entire family, we loved it.

Wonderful back beach oasis

My teenage girls and I very much enjoyed our relaxing new year break at Southdown. The chilled bottle of bubbly 😊 and the starter kit of pantry items such as jams and condiments was much appreciated. We look forward to a return visit soon. Michael M

Comfort and style in a beautiful setting

This was our second time at this lovely house. The adults and the 3 children (aged 11, 8 and 2) all loved it. A peaceful setting outside and every detail thought of inside. Owner responded to and fixed small problem immediately. Really appreciated the champagne on arrival, the generous supplies of household needs and the wonderful selection of toys, games, magazines and dvds. HIghly recommend this place. We'll certainly be back.

Great location, well equipped home

We had a lovely stay in Southdown recently. The home is well maintained and well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday, including books, games and DVDs for all ages. Just a short walk to the walking trails, front beach and Sorrento shops. Our host, Jo was so welcoming and we will definitely look to come back again next year!

Packed full with everything you need to have a great holiday break

The house is well designed to be very relaxing. Even though it is not big, the outdoor areas make it much more than it seems. There is a gorgeous place to sit at any time of the day. And very well designed. Everything you could possibly need is in the kitchen and dvds and board games galore. We had Christmas there and our host Jo went the extra mile to put up a tree and even left us a gift under the tree! So many personal touches. I’d choose to stay in a place that’s as full of heart as this one any time. Thanks so much Jo. We had a very special time.

Absolutely loved our stay!

We could not recommend Southdown in Sorrento highly enough. It is great value for money, had everything we needed and was in a great location - close to the shops and a short drive to the beach. Jo is so incredibly helpful and even had toys available for our toddlers! The outdoor space is perfect to sit and relax, we spent most of our days sitting in the sun. We will definitely return - thanks Jo!

Loved our stay

The house was perfect for myself and 3 kids. It had everything you could need!! Games, books, dvds, every condiment, it was so well stocked it made things super easy. Close to shops and the beach. It was also clean!! Thank you Jo we had a lovely time.

Great holiday!!!!!

Everything about our holiday was fantastic. We were 5 adults & 4 kids which accommodated to all of us. The price was great for 2 families to share. Location was walking distance to front & back beach & shops. When we were not outdoors there was so much to do eg: gameboards & a large selection of movies. Kids still talking about there holiday. Thanks for letting us stay. We will be back!!!

Fantastic beach house

The beach house was very well located in a nice quiet spot. The house was stocked with lots of games, books, DVDs and in particular kids toys. This is exactly how I would setup my own beach house if I was lucky enough to own one!

Fantastic choice

A fantastic choice for staying in Sorrento. Jo's place is in a terrific location: a short walk to Diamond Bay or St Paul's Beach; 400m from the St Paul's Road shop for the newspaper, coffees and supplies. The house itself is one of the best stocked we've ever stayed in. Great attention to detail. Within minutes of arriving we were saying to ourselves, "well, we'll be renting this place again!"

Privacy and relaxation

We love this place and will continue to book it! Set high amongst the moonah trees, and with views out both windows, it's so private and relaxed, you could be anywhere -yet it's only a short walk into town. Fully decked out with coffee machine, every condiment imaginable, indoor/outdoor games for the kids, hundreds of movies and books and the latest mags! A short walk to the stunning back beach and the kids loved the outdoor shower last summer. It's all been thought of here, been meaning to write a review for a while, we've enjoyed it all seasons now! Thank you.

Fantastic Getaway Property

Southdown is so well appointed, clean, handy to the back beach and a lovely easy stroll into town. Jo has thought of all the mod cons even down to a welcoming bottle of bubbly on arrival. Ideal house for myself, a girlfriend and our daughters to truly switch off and enjoy. We are already planning our next girly getaway!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Southdown, everything we could think of, and more, was supplied. Even though the property is a little dated, it is extremely clean and very comfortable. The bottle of champagne was a nice touch, and I love it when a place has a coffee machine!!

Ideal beach cottage

Very clean; very well fitted out with appliances, books, DVD's, and all cooking gear you could want. Very well stocked for condiments, etc - way above average. A bottle of Chandon, and boxes of Easter eggs were an unexpected surprise. A bit old school in style, but very comfortable, and close to the excellent Coppin walking trail along the cliff tops.

Another great week.

Jo provides a great place to stay in Sorrento, comfortable, quiet and extremely well provisioned, within easy reach of beaches and all other all amenities. I thoroughly recommend.

AMAZING - Highly Recommend !

We highly recommend South Down Sorrento !! Our host Jo was very welcoming and understanding. Easy to talk to and goes above and beyond to cater for her guests. The house has an abundance of supplies, even including champagne and coffee pods! Plenty of activities to do at the house. Even better its an easy walk into town or close to rock pools !! Thanks Jo for all your help !
