Breakaway Beach House ligger pÄ South Coast of NSW i den lilla staden Currarong - en tvÄ och en halv timmes bilresa frÄn Sydney och 3 timmar frÄn Canberra.

Huset ligger 150 m frÄn stranden och den lokala stenpoolen och bestÄr av 4 sovrum (med upp till 12 gÀster), 2 badrum och en öppen planlösning, matsal och kök.

Currarong Àr en enkel tvÄ och en halv timmes bilresa frÄn Sydney och 3 timmar frÄn Canberra.

Den lilla fiskebyn Currarong har inte mer Àn 400 hus och ligger vid ingÄngen till Beecroft Headland.

Beecroft Peninsular har nÄgra av de största klipporna i NSW och ett brett utbud av buskar som leder till en fantastisk natur. Beecroft Peninsular Àr ocksÄ norra huvudet / ingÄngen till Jervis Bay dÀr du hittar nÄgra av de vackraste orörda strÀnderna i Australien.

Currarong har en allmÀn butik & Zacs skaldjurskafé. De nÀrmaste stormarknaderna ligger i Callala Bay och Culburra Beach. Under större delen av Äret kan du ocksÄ köpa fantastiska fÀrska ostron frÄn de lokala fiskarna i Greenwell Point.

FrÄn Breakaway tar det cirka 20 minuter att köra till Greenwell Point, 25 minuter till Nowra, 35 minuter till Berry, 15 minuter till Culburra Beach och 10 minuter till Callala Bay / Beach. Det finns inga gatuljus eller tung trafik genom Currarong.

Spacious house in a great location. Well supplied with everything we needed. Appreciated the comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and ample supply of wood for the slow combustion stove. Close to walking trails and beach.

Fantasic location, comfy house, responsive host!

We had a lovely time at breakaway for my birthday with our friends and kids. The house was comfy and having two bathrooms was great. Kitchen was well stocked which was great. The location is a stones throw from Abrahams Bosom beach and the rockpool. Lots of amazing wildlife around - Kangaroos, Kookaburras and Flocks of Black Cockatoos - so beautiful. Amazing bushwalks on your doorstep too.Only gripe is having to bring all your own towels and bed linen, this is a big consideration when your are already bringing all your weekend food and belongings. I hadn't realised this on booking. Usually other places we stay at have all of this as part of the booking.

Family Easter stay

We all enjoyed our stay here. The house was a good layout and worked well for the little ones thru to Nan. Really lovely backyard with plenty of room for the kids to run around. Great sized back deck. Super easy short walk to the beach and also the park around the corner. We hooe to return next year.

Wonderful home away from home

Breakaway was very comfortable and relaxing for our group of 5-7 plus a dog, for our 9-day stay. The The backyard is well-fenced and landscaped, with a nice lawn area for a game of badminton or mini soccer (byo gear), or even a picnic amongst the established trees. Bosom Beach and bushwalks are a short stroll away - in fact, everything in Currarong is a short walk away! The kitchen is particularly wel-appointed - enough pots, pans, baking dishes to make some decent meals from scratch. Corinne was a very caring and responsive host.

Nice house and location

Very nice place to stay for my family in our favourite holiday destination of Currarong. Plenty of room for everyone, with nice indoor and outdoor spaces. Will equipped kitchen and handy access to BBQ for cooking. Great location with short walk to beaches, rockpool and washing tracks on Beacroft Head.

Great location in a lovely town

The location is great, with the beach and rock pools so close to walk to. We loved the outdoor shower (with hot water) the lovely back garden, good spaces for our family to both congregate and separate, BBQ and well equipped kitchen with a large fridge freezer (which is great since Currarong has limited options for eating out and groceries).The house was clean, but could do with a thorough deep clean and some maintenance on a few things such as squeaky bunk beds that were noisy with every movement and a kitchen cupboard door that didn't close. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely firm. Fans helped us stay cool.Overall a good holiday. Thank you

Perfect for large families

Peaceful and spacious

Lovely long weekend in Currarong with our teenager and dogs. Breakaway was the perfect set up - plenty of space inside and out, we enjoyed the boardgames and fireplace and hiking around the peninsula. Corrine was a welcoming host - thank you!

Wonderful weekend

Another great stay at this property and in such a good location for the rockpool and Bosum Beach. We enjoyed lots of swimming, walking and drinks on the back deck overlooking the trees and garden. Will be back again. Thanks Corinne for always being welcoming.

Some issues need addressing

Reasonably clean throughout. Good layout with 4 bedrooms separated from the living areas. Shower in main bathroom leaked water across the floor, so we didn't use it after that. Drainage in 2nd bathroom was clogged and bubbled up through the floor waste. When we went to use the oven one evening, there were no instructions to tell us how to start it.

Perfect spot close to beach

A terrific house with lots of space, great amenities and very close to Abraham’s Bosom beach (3 minute walk). Had standing fans for all the rooms, a well kitted out kitchen and a great deck overlooking the lawn and trees. We loved seeing kangaroos in the street at dusk! Thanks for a terrific stay.

We purchased Breakaway Beach House in 2011 when our daughters were 2 years old. We had been holidaying in Currarong for many years prior, and wanted our family to have a place they could relax in on weekends and school holidays.

We love that our kids can ride their bikes to the local fish and chips shop, play beach cricket and scamper around in the bush. It's a great place to unwind and disconnect from devices where the biggest decision we need to make is whether to swim at the beach or local rock pool.

Breakaway has been all that and so much more - it's where wonderful family holiday memories are made.
