Annual Girls Get Together

Plenty of room for four of us, lots of couches to hang out on, close walking tracks, bath, quick trips to city, quiet location amidst glorious autumn trees. We loved our stay thank you!

Lovely Weekend home

Lovely weekend stay with friends. House was clean, speaking with Kathleen a breeze, with location a great base to head out and about in Canberra for the weekend. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable Stay

We had a very enjoyable stay. Although it was a bit small and no back yard it accommodated our needs. The only thing we would suggest that needs to be change is the size of the tv.

Great stay

We had a brilliant time at this easy, convenient home. The kids enjoyed cycling in the safe and quiet surrounds. The plants around the house give it great privacy and a nice outlook through the windows.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Majura House. Great location and had everything we needed. Roomy, clean and in a quiet location. Great communication with host, answering questions very quickly. A great home away from home. No hesitation in recommending to others or staying again when visiting Canberra.

Good value comfort

Well maintained and pleasant townhouse. Very comfortable with quality fittings snd appliances, everything you need. Location worked well for us with quick access to majura parkway . Plenty of space for a reasonable price.

Short stay in Canberra

This was a wonderful property for us. In a quiet neighbourhood out of the city but within an easy drive to everything we wanted to see. The property was well equipped and very comfortable.

Majors House

Good location, clean, a bit dated. Lounge large size and comfortably accommodated 5 people. Good vibe. TV on the small size but got used to it very quickly. Kitchen comfortable, well equipped and clean. Unable to close door (about 20cm) of second twin without moving beds.

Amazing!!

Our host Kathleen, went above and beyond! She was so great to communicate with before and throughout our stay. This property was perfect had everything we needed and more, well and truly met our expectations. Couldn’t recommend Kathleen and her beautiful home more. 10/10 thank you for being so welcoming, we loved our time here.

Some changes needed

House was lovely but there were a couple of items which could be better. The shower door kept coming off the runner when you tried to close it. The pillows were very cheap and didn't provide any support. Would have been nice if there had been a couple if sachets of tea available. Towel rail in bathroom came off wall as very cheap and not well made. Other than that the house was quite nice.

Some check in issues but good

We stayed for the weekend and when arriving after the check in time we found dirty glasses on the tables and in the sink. The owner apologised that the cleaner hadn't had a chance to finish preparing the property but offered to to clean after our check in. We declined this, as we could clean the glasses ourselves and everything else seemed clean. However the owner still sent the cleaner there after we had checked in and left it luggage there, and while we were out getting supplies. I would have preferred if the owner had respected my wishes.

Cosy and convenient

This was my second stay at this home. The home was clean and cosy and conveniently located. Kathleen is a welcoming and accommodating hostess. If I return to Canberra, I will definitely stay here again.
