Terrific location - quiet & comfortable

We had everything we needed for our stay; location was easy enough to find our way around Canberra ( a sat nav in the car is essential). Just one thing - a mirror would be great in the 2nd bedroom.

Peaceful home away from home

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Close Little Mulligan Reserve to watch sunrise , have coffee and walk surrounded by kangaroos .Pleasant retreat from busy city life. 2nd stay will be back in November if same accommodation available .

Perfect quiet break for my client

This cottage is just lovely. So comfy, especially the beds!! Awesome attention to detail. Love the special Knick knack display cupboard. Beautiful bathroom… roomy and beautiful decor. Outdoor area lovely and private, and beautiful in the sunshine.

Short but sweet.

We enjoyed our stay for one night in Nicholls it was a lovely quiet spot it was perfect as we had our puppy with us. It was clean quiet and in a perfect location for stopping overnight on our way to the snowy mountains.

Lovely quiet place to stay in Canberra

The house was a joy to stay in and a very quiet neighbourhood. We were there for over 1 week. Lovely view of the golf course and trees. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. Shops were close and we were only a short drive into the city centre and all of its tourist attractions. The host, Helen was lovely to deal with and very prompt to answer any questions we had. We will stay here again when next in Canberra.

Great property to stay at

property had everything needed, lovely location near a golf course and lake with good early morning walks. Nicholls local shops 5mins, Gungahlin shopping centre 10mins, so very convenient. Rooster

the property itself was great but unfortunately the outside light did not work and my companion is blind in one eye, the oven did not heat up, a rooster crowed every morning non stop from 3am and we stayed 3 nights and were provided 1 towel each for the entirety of our stay, couldn't use alfresco dining as no light worked there either. Having said that the bed was very comfortable and despite the maintenance issues and rooster/lack of sleep we rate it very highly. would stay again.

What a great find

Cosy, comfortable, very clean and spacious little home with charming outlook in quiet, convenient ,scenic location. Easy drive on good road to CBD and other Canberra facilities and precincts. Just cross the road to delightful parkland on the shores of Gunghalin Pond sharing the track with friendly locals. We loved being able to take a wonderful walk with our dog after driving all day. Really good pet friendly accommodation with secure courtyard area and grassed terrace in nice part of Canberra. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture & beds comfortable. Thanks kindly to our host.

Great holiday place

great property, everything included , fantastic setting overlooking the golfcourse with water features, and some nice walks on paths opposite. Easy access to Canberra city centre. Will be a regular visitor. Many thanks to the host for providing a great holdiay location
