Lovely views and accomodation

Lovely property that has everything you need. It has 3 levels, with 3 bedrooms and 2 separate living areas a lovely balcony/deck area with great views. We had 7 people Stay there comfortably and you really didn’t need to bring anything as linen and towels were provided. Jo-Anne was a lovely host and very welcoming, and was great with communication. Will definately be back to spend more time at this home.

Great little getaway

Such a beautiful little place with large bedrooms. The outdoor is a brilliant space to sit around with friends and then when the sun goes down you come inside to the cozy fireplace which was thoughtfully set up for us before arrival. Jo-Anne was brilliant and left us some goodies on arrival and wonderfully express posted my watch back to me when I left it behind. We had such a lovely stay thanks so much!

Perfect weekend get-away

Cozy, homely and the perfect get away for our girls weekend. Jo-Anne was wonderful to deal with. She responded quickly to any questions I had and was accommodating and flexible with our check in/out time. It’s a beautiful holiday house, in a wonderful location and although we didn’t use the downstairs area, we could easily see how great it would be even with up to three families and kids staying together as the down stairs section is seperate and ideal as a second lounge room/kids area.

Dirty house wouldn’t recommend to no one

The house was awful. Dirty dishes, barbecue, beds and carpet. Rude host wouldn’t let us have 1 or 2 visitors at the house. Wouldn’t recommend this house to anyone. Don’t bother booking it waste of time and money.

Comfortable Beach House

The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We used it as a base for attending a family wedding in Red Hill. Nice walk down to the lighthouse and beach.

Fantastic weekend

We had a great weekend in Jo’s house. It was really clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Jo was so great to communicate with, and gave us lots of info about the local area. Walking distance to the beach and cafes and restaurants so we barely used the car once we arrived. Highly recommended

Relaxing, comfortable and convenient.

Great location, walking distance to the lovely McCrae beach, shops, cafes, restaurants and the bay trail. The house was very comfortable and equipped extremely well with lots of extras provided. Enjoyed the deck with views. The friendly and informative hosts provided lots of local knowledge, suggestions and recommendations. Thanks Jo.

Wonderful and clean

Immaculate place that smells beautiful as soon as you walk in. Very clean especially for a beach house and has everything you could want. Beautifully renovated bathroom and open living area that makes it perfect for any group. Quiet surrounds but close to everything you need plus a great view of the water. Great communication from host that made you feel comfortable and welcome before you arrived. Highly recommend!

Nice relaxing getaway

We just had a lovely get away on the weekend here. Jo is super helpful, responsive and communicate throughout prior and during our stay to enjoy our stay and got all our queries answered. Location is convenient, McCrae beach is just a walking distance and so peaceful. Cafe and restaurants are just across the beach. The house is very cozy and has plenty space for our family. There are 2 separate lounge rooms/playrooms so we could have our own space when we need to. The house is clean , the balcony has nice decking with some ocean view, we really enjoyed having breakfast and coffee every morning there. Overall nice stay for us, thanks Jo. Annie

A Great Winter Escape

We had a lovely winter escape at this property. It was very clean and well provisioned. It had lots of character and comfort. Jo-Anne was an excellent and very responsive host. The log-fire was very cosy and warm. My only quibble was that the Wi-fi didn’t work well, so if you need something reliable this property may not be for you. That said, I would recommend it and probably book again.

Jo-Anne and their family purchased the perfect beach house because of its warm character and location. We have had many wonderful years of family holidays and new memories created because of this home.
We have lovingly restored and kept the character to share with others. It's beautiful all year providing a haven for weary travelers or those looking to explore the peninsula.
We are in a perfect position for any of the other points of interest. Close to the freeways, perfectly positioned for the beach and restaurants.
Our amazing Coonara is just heavenly in winter.As I've said it is "the Perfect Beach House"

Our Home is comfortable with all the modern additions without being so precious that you can't relax.
It has a lovely feel to it and is perfect for people with small children as the balcony is the protected
The house is split level and there are a few stairs 7 up and 7 down but each level has a gate that can be locked.
On the outside, there is a large front leveled garden with shade perfect for small children and this is also protected with a large farm gate
