Had a fantastic stay here. Owners had great communication with us all along, and the property was perfect. Close to town, close to beaches, clean, comfy, and well appointed. This will be our go to for Nelson Bay

Family and pet friendly accommodation

Great spot- close to the action of Nelson Bay. Lots of space and a double garage in a quiet area. The upstairs can get quite hot in the heat without air con.

Good spot, spacious

The property is spacious and well located. The area is quiet even though it is 5 minutes walking from the Marine and Woolworths. Perfect for a group of 6. We had some little issues, however we already spoke with the owner and she was willing to check on to work it out.

Great stay, close to shops and restaurants

Great stay near town but in quiet area the place actually bigger than it looks. Great living area inside and outside perfect for group stays. The reviews that say unclean must be expecting a 5 star hotel, the place is a clean house!!

The place was not very clean with leftover food and food stains in the fridge. Massive cobwebs in the outdoor area and the place covered in dust. Location is good but the poor hygiene standard is horrible.

The home was very dirty. Kitchen cupboards, longe furniture dirty with pet fir all over the lounge.

The home is very dirty. Toilets, kitchen cupboards, lounge furniture full of pet hair etc. property advertised as 3 bathrooms, but it is 2 bathrooms & a toilet. The garbage bins have not been emptied and was over flowing. A fee is s charged for cleaning but no cleaning is done. Very disappointed. Angela January 2021

Great location but needs a good clean!

Pros; great location, within walking distance of main centre attractions and lovely quiet beach, great space for multiple guests to stay, easy check in and out. Cons; unfortunately this place was not clean at all. I understand it is a pet friendly home however this does not mean it shouldn't be up to a high standard of cleanliness especially during COVID times. We had to clean the outdoor setting just to sit on it as it was filled with cobwebs, there were crumbs all in the pantry cupboards and dust balls underneath some of the beds. Please owners give this place a through clean before letting more people stay.

This property was easily accessible, in a great location, modern and airy with good facilities included. The only let down was the overall cleanliness and small maintenance issues that needed attention.

Great Location and Property

The property was great, lots of little things they have thought of like kids DVDs, dog water bowls, games, a stool for the kids in the bathroom and bubble bath. The living space is very large and it was nice to have a lockup garage available. The neighbours were lovely and made us feel very welcome although they didn't know we were coming. We didn't receive any key information so had to send an email after check in time to find out how to access the property. The owners had forgotten we were booked in, but the property had been prepared for guests so it wasn't an issue. Cleaning wise the bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean but the living areas downstairs let the property down - given the current global situation with Covid-19 this was quite worrying for us. The kitchen had most things you would need but felt dirty - lots of crumbs and debris in the cutlery drawers, cupboards needed wiping out and there were food splashes on tiling. I don't know when the fridge was last cleaned but it had not had a detailed clean in some time nor had the floor around the couch which had hair/crumbs etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and be happy to return, but felt like we needed to give the downstairs a good scrub before we settled in which isn't exactly what you feel like doing after a long drive with tired kids.

Great spot in Nelson Bay

Location is excellent. The apartment is a great design with bedrooms upstairs and living downstairs, with a covered outdoor area. Everything worked well. We were two couples and booked this, as it had an extra bedroom and my husband snores like a train. The owners had locked the third bedroom, as we were two couples. After contacting them, they organised it to be unlocked, however it should never have been locked in the first place. We would definitely rent it again

Nice location, nice unit, but that's where it ends dirty floors outdoor area covered in spider webs

Lovely area nice unit in a great spot but grass was not mowed outdoor area was filthy and had to be cleaned before used.floors were dirty and kitchen has multiple ant issues. Last resort rental...

The location is wonderful with walking distance to downtown. The cleanness is a concern.

When arrived with one of rooms locked. Took few Phone calls / hours until someone came to open it. Cleanness of floor and bedlinen are concern.

We had a beautiful Christmas and New Year here, everything you need walking distance to town beaches everything. We had the pleasure of having our dogs with us so went to the dog friendly beach every morning that is a 5 min walk, absolutely beautiful. Although air conditioning is down stairs all Bedrooms have new ceiling fans and we found it comfortable even with very hot temperatures. My Only suggestion/ addition I would make to owners would be to put TVs in main bedrooms and check the main bedroom mattress as it is very hard. We definitely will be going back to this beautiful town house we had a very good relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you

The property was filthy upon arrival

Looks can be deceiving as the place looked nice from the outside but was filthy when we went inside. There were filthy floors, dishes, glasses, benches, tables, linen which thank god we had our own as well. There was a used tissue and bandaid in the couch as well as a chewed dog bone chew under it. It was disgusting. We went to use the bbq but that was filthy and the outdoor furniture was dirty and had redback spiders under them and smelt of dog urine outside. I have photos of all the issues
