Shipwatch Stay

Location to town and beach access was perfect for us. Pool area uncrowded and spacious. Unit was perfect for three people. Host responded promptly to messages. Some minor bumps and bruises with wifi and washing machine addressed by host in timely fashion.

Great beach condo

Very nice condo with everything we needed. Great with a dog. Beach is a bit of a walk, but very nice. Great beach. Able to walk to great restaurants. Area was peaceful. Only comment on cleanliness was the appliances were a bit greasy. Would love to stay here again. Washer and dryer in the unit.

Great Family Vacay!

We had an amazingly relaxing stay! The location is wonderful. We were able to watch lots of fireworks from the beach on the 4th which was a great suprise!! The property was well maintained and the pool area was a great place to unwind!

Baseball at the beach

Overall it's a great condo! Nothing over the top and easy access to all parts of St. Simmons. Yes it's a little bit of a walk to the beach from the condo, but its a very easy walk with private access. We came for a baseball tournament and it was perfect since we were in and out of the condo a lot between games and spending time with the baseball families.

Quiet Getaway

Property is a little older and in need of some repairs around the complex. Overall a great experience. The location of the condo gave access to many restaurants and shops. Ben was quick to repond to any concerns sent to him. The elevator was a nice addition to getting our luggage up 3 flights.

Annual beach vacation with grandchildren.

location was fine - we used to live on SSI so are very familar with island. The unit we rented was dirty and many "small" things needed repair, none of them would be costly but I don't pay for vacation to stay where things are dirty and in disrepair. From handbar in tub/shower falling down, curtain rod fell down whenever we tried to open drapes, missing knobs on light switches, sliding doors nearly impossible to open (& 1 did not lock), no pillowcases on at least 2 of the bed pillows (where only 4 in entire condo), sheets did not fit the twin beds, bedspreads for all 4 beds need to be cleaned. All in all, we were disappointed with the condition. We have achieved and maintained the highest rating as guests on VRBO so I am not being nitpicky! In spite of condition of condo we had a great vacation.

Great condo on the beach

Beautiful third floor condo with everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. The beds we’re comfortable, the location was gorgeous and the restaurants around were amazing. The elevator made loading and unloading a breeze, the pool was big enough to not feel crowded, the kitchen was well stocked and the parking was fair. I have a Ram 1500 and it was a tight squeeze into the garage so I parked in the lot inside the automated gate. We love SSI and will definitely be back. Hopefully this exact unit is available again when we come!

Great location. Great host.

Laid back. Low key. Very relaxing. Beautiful pool. Huge run for dogs. Great beach. Small kitchen, but generally a well maintained complex. Would definitely go back.

Nice condo and location. Beach is a bit of a walk though the dunes. Dogs loved the large field behind the condos to run and play. We will definitely be returning. Host, Ben very attentive to our needs. Even texted that we could check in a little earlier. Would rent this condo again.

The Spring Getaway

Great location!

We really enjoyed our two weeks at this property. Although the property was on the third floor, we found it was very convenient to take the dogs to the many green spaces surrounding the building. Parking in the covered lower level was wonderful. The neighborhood was lovely and we utilized the provided bikes every day. A short walk along a beautiful trail made daily beach visits easy. The condo itself could use a revamp but it was clean and cozy. We understand the entire building is undergoing work next year. Ben, the property manager, was responsive and helpful. We had no need to contact him during our stay.

A little gem

Great little spot for my daughter and I to enjoy spring break. It is definitely an older building and there are many places that are far more updated but it was comfortable and had what we needed for a 5 day stay. It is very easy to walk/bike to restaurants, coffee shops and the pier area. it is quiet and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed having access to beach chairs so we did not have to bring them. Also enjoyed that there are some paper products even though I always come prepared. Easy to just enjoy a vacation here!

A little improvement

The hair dryer is not working. The kitchen could use some updating. With the cabinets being older some shelving paper would help the inside look cleaner. Our stay was very enjoyable. We would stay there again.
