Välkommen till Lulu's Cottage. Ett lugnt men bekvämt läge i WNC.

Lulu's Cottage ligger bara ett stenkast från den vackra sjön Tomahawk och är en underbar 1960-talsstuga som erbjuder gäster en avkopplande men ändå bekväm vistelse i Black Mountain NC. Nära till restauranger, shopping och bryggerier finns det något att göra för alla. Njut av de många butikerna i Black Mountain eller ta en 12 minut och utforska allt som Asheville har att erbjuda.

Cozy cottage in convenient location!

Perfect size and amenities for us and our two pups while we helped with the annual Holly Jolly event and holiday parade. Everything is set up well at the house, everything we needed. Host was generous and communicative. We will be back!

Fabulous stay

Perfect location, 20 minute walk to downtown Black Mountain through a friendly neighborhood and 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Quiet, private, and clean.

Incredible place to stay for a Birthday Weekend

We chose this place to stay by the pictures many months before we visited. It was easy to get to and find groceries, coffee shops, and restaurants. However the kitchen was so nice and well-equipped, we did not want to leave. The bed was comfortable, and nice TV.... I hated to leave. We will come back for sure.

Perfect Cottage for Two

The location of LuLu’s Cottage was perfect! It was walkable to downtown Black Mountain, about 1/2 mile. It’s also easy to get to the freeway as well and was about 15-20 minutes to get to Asheville. Often pictures of a property are deceiving, with rooms appearing larger than they are. This was just the opposite. The living room and kitchen were a great size, more than enough for two people. Our Host was very responsive to all of our questions or requests.

Home away from home!

Great location. Wally and Virginia are super hosts and cottage is super clean! We enjoyed three visits in 2023 (spring, summer and fall). Plan to book at least three visits in 2024. Lulus has become our second home.

Another pleasant stay

Enjoyed Lulu's again...can't beat the location particularly proximity to the lake for an enjoyable saunter with the pups. Wally and Virginia are consummate hosts who care about their guests and their comfort. We'll be back.

Cozy cottage in a great location

The property was fully equipped for cooking and a short walk to Lake Tomahawk and the golf course. A short drive to downtown. We had a great time.

Loved Lulu's Cottage!

We had a great weekend and loved staying at Lulu's Cottage! It was perfect for us and our four legged. Great location to Lake Tomahawk and convenient to everything we wanted to do for the weekend. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Host & Wonderful Stay

This was our 6th stay at Lulu’s. Wally, our host, is always friendly & helpful. We love going back to our “home away from home”. It’s a great location - close to Tomahawk Lake & a short drive to downtown.

I locked myself out by employing the deadbolt and Mr. Wally was right there to save me! Miss Virginia is a refreshing and wonderful lady who was warm, inviting, and so pleasant when I pulled up on property. I highly recommend staying here! Safe, quiet and very, VERY comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at Lulu’s cottage. We frequent Black Mountain and loved the location and the cottage itself. All the amenities you need. The host was easy to reach and very responsive with any suggestions. Highly recommend.

Best place we could have stayed!

Lulu's Cottage is a lovely place completely decked out with everything we could possibly need! We had multiple dinners outdoors with adult children and grandchildren, ages 2-11. Walks and playing at the park at Lake Tomahawk across the street, plus lots of trips to everywhere we wanted to visit. Of course, dinners at restaurants in Black Mountain and a perfect Chuck Brodsky concert at White Horse made our visit complete. Our hosts and the cottage made everything perfect.

Cozy cottage in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at LuLu’s Cottage. It’s in a great location close to town with Lake Tomahawk right across the street. We brought our pup and enjoyed walking her around the lake. The cottage was clean and cozy with vintage decor and a gas fireplace. It’s a perfect spot for a couple to bring their dog to the mountains! Wally offered great communication. Thanks for everything; we’d love to return!

Cute and cozy

Had a great time. The cottage is great for two people and your pooch. Location is wonderful; across the street from a beautiful park with a walking trail. Wally was great to communicate with. Black Mountain is a charming town with shops and fun restaurants. Would go back in a heartbeat.
