Very good!!

We loved staying here and liked the area that it was in. It’s a bit far of a walk to the major sightseeing but we enjoy walking so that was kinda intentional. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed. The check-in was well explained but the check-out was slightly unclear. I texted her and got that cleared up. Overall it was an excellent VRBO!!

Quiet and convenient location in the 6th

Wonderful location and so quiet! Our group of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids) slept all night every night and had convenient access to multiple metro lines or could walk 20-30 minutes as an alternative to many major sights. A great street market nearby a couple days a week as well! The neighborhood around is wonderful to stroll through.The property had three beds and pull out couch that worked great for our group. The one bathroom had glazed doors for the shower and toilet so multiple people could occupy it at the same time. Highly recommend!

Spacious lodging in a great area of central Paris

A very spacious 3 bedroom 1 bathroom flat in the heart of Paris, close to the metro, numerous restaurants, and shopping. What more could you want? Our only "complaint" is 1 bathroom was a bit tough for a family of 4, but we made it work. Highly recommended!

Great Gem in St. Germain!

Lovely basement flat just a block from public transport, delicious bakeries, and a short walk to Garden Luxembourg. Beds super comfy and we appreciated the large bathroom w/ great water pressure for our family of 5 - as well as access to onsite laundry. I'd definitely recommend this place. Merci for a wonderful stay!

Great Stay!

This was our first time to Paris and we loved our visit. The garden apt was spacious and really fit the needs of our family of 5. We felt very secure in the apartment. Thank you for letting us leave the luggage early on check-in day and late on check-out day. Thanks to helpful reviews, we figured out that we needed to use the key fob to unlock the main gate/doors. There are two outside gates that looks the same, you need to use the gate on the left to enter this apt. Overall we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again!

Excellent apartment

We had an excellent stay. Perfect layout for our family. Even better location. Convenient to everything and definitely a feel of being local and not in touristy area. Communication with property manager was easy. Will definitely stay again next time.

Great 3 bedroom apartment

Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights with husband and adult children. The bathroom and shower were fantastic. The bed was comfortable although others thought it was firm. Bakery and nearby restaurants were great.

A great part of Paris

This is a smart apartment in a great part of Paris - plenty of places to eat out or buy groceries and within walking distance of lots of attractions. There were 5 adults and 1 child and plenty of room for all of us.

Very convienent to metros. Very large bathroom but only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms. Very clean, warm and quiet though. In the basement so might get warm during the summer months.

Friends touring France

We had a lovely 4 night stay in this perfectly located apartment . 3 ladies travelling together , who were very comfy with a room each . Fantastic location to walk anywhere .. close to shops and amenities and lovely place to get over the jet lag at the beginning of our travels . Self contained and able to wash clothes . Thank you for having such a comfy quiet accomodation in Paris .

Summer trip 2023

Location was great. We appreciate the fast response from the property manager when the codes weren’t correct and the key broke. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of space. Have to turn off the AC when leaving because it needed to be in the window was a bit annoying, but over all we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

This was a perfect property for our short stay in Paris. Very well appointed (we appreciated all of the kitchen items) and a great location close to restaurants, cafes and several Metro stops. Our check in details changed a few times so that was a little confusing but in the end we figured it out. It was also very warm in Paris during our stay and one air conditioner was broken and the other wasn’t working very well so some fans would have been appreciated. That’s very minor though! I would recommend this property for sure!

Great location

We really loved the location of this apartment. It is just below street level, so no views, but it is exactly as it looks in the photos. The shower was great and it was very comfortable for our family of 5. The only downside was the lack of communication from the host. I messaged 3 times in a month to inquire about the check in process and never received a response. It wasn’t until the day of checkin that I was given any info. That caused a bit of stress based off a previous review, but it worked out in the end. Regardless, it is a great find in a lovely area.

Olympic Vacation

The location of this vrbo is amazing! We felt safe walking around during the day and at night. We were greeted by several residents who were all very friendly and helped us in and out of the vrbo, which can be confusing at first, but helps with the safety of the unit. There are great restaurants nearby! I recommend Georgettes (Saint Germain des Pres) and Monte Verdi (Saint Suplice) for great food that is beyond the local cafes. We walked to both! Luxembourg Gardens is within walking distance and definitely a must see. You can get crepes here. Maybe stop at a pastry shop and pick up a baguette, meat, and cheese for a picnic on the lawn? Or, bring some euros to sail a boat in the fountain area? The pastry shop near St. Placide metro station is also fantastic. We ate there most mornings before heading out to the different museums and venues for the Olympics. The bathroom was very large. I liked the door that separated the toilet and the two sinks. This helped with our family of 5 so we could all take care of our own needs. We struggled with the air conditioner and washer/dryer unit. I wonder if instructions could be left on how to use both of these to help future renters. There are fans in every room that were a huge support for sleeping and cooling off when we were hot from the July heat and humidity. We would recommend this unit to other renters and would definitely stay here again!

Okay stay, but do not recommend for summer months

The apartment was spacious and clean, though the furnishings, especially bedding, were a bit worn. There are several steps to get in the building, but where to hold the key fob to get in was not included (this was mentioned in another review and we agree).The one AC unit didn't work very well (it releases a lot of hot air on the outtake) which is not a surprise in Europe, but the fact that we couldn't sleep with windows open and feel safe was a major problem. It was very hot and we were pretty miserable. The large windows are directly at ground level and a person could have easily stepped into the unit with windows open. I have a photo of the window, but can't figure out how to load it for this review. Would recommend in colder months, but not at all for summer.

Challenging

Our experience with this property was mixed! Contact and communication with the owner was impossible! Three requests for information or directions went completely ignored. Typical information about arrival, hopefully at the right place and the right time was ignored. Access through the gates and doors requires two codes but we were given the wrong codes. Only luck had us arriving while the cleaner was leaving otherwise we would have been left sitting on the curb with no recourse. The second surprise was to discover the suite is in the basement! Great promo photos and misleading lighting but absolutely no vistas of Paris. On the other hand, the location is terrific. It is close to two metro lines, several restaurants that we enjoyed and despite the above disappointments, the suite layout and quality of finishes were acceptable.

Accuracy/Expectations

1st of all hard for me to compare because this is the only place I have stayed in Paris. It was Ok and I would stay again with my party size after I checked all other options. They advertise A/C which are 2 portable units that have hoses that need to be put out windows. The windows are on ground level to a rear gated parking lot. So if you use A/C at night or anytime your room is not secure. When we checked in the instructions said use the key from lobby to inner hall. Its a Key fob and not clear where to place it for door to unlock. No central fire alarm system or sprinkler system in a multi story building. There was a smoke detector in the unit. We were on the ground floor/ partial basement. we could escape easy in an emergency as long as we knew there was one. Easy quick walk to things. Ok place just wanted to share my experience.

Five days before arriving, we were given more details about the property's address, but not the apartment number, or its location in the building. We were given codes to the "first two doors" and a code to the key safe inside a mailbox, but, as it transpired later, we were given all the wrong codes. So I used Vrbo's messaging service to message the owners and ask for the apartment number. No response. Two days later, I asked again. No response. On the day we were due to arrive I sent a third request and tried calling (but reached voicemail, inevitably). I gave up and called Vrbo's customer service to ask for help. They also tried without success to contact the owners but left messages for them and promised me I'd hear from them soon. Sure enough, whilst sitting, stressing in the Eurostar terminal in London, we received a message from the owners addressed to somebody called Elizabeth (which is none of our names) giving us more details - and a completely different set of access codes to those listed in the official Vrbo website. But still no apartment number. I asked again and sought confirmation of which codes were correct. No response. To the owners: I appreciate you're probably busy, but not replying to any of my three messages over five days is not acceptable. I shouldn't have to call customer services to get you to tell me where your apartment is (and as it turns out, to give me the correct access codes). Good luck Elizabeth, whoever you are.
