Great location!

The house is in a fantastic location! Very nice, safe area. Quiet, beautiful property and great communication with the owner/property manager. House is a little dated, but the price is right and I really think you can't beat this location if you want to bring your family to Universal Studios. Would definitely stay again!!

Great place to stay

Nice house in a nice neighborhood! Beautiful views and easy access to Universal Studios. Grandma, 2 parents and 2 kids all fit and were comfortable in our own spaces.

Perfect rental!

Great rental. Perfect for our group of six. We were visiting Universal Studios and the location is just a 5 minute drive. Wonderful neighborhood with a convenience store a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Neighborhood was nice and quiet. The location was perfect for a short drive over to Universal Studios. The host gave some great tips for getting around and the property had everything we needed. Overall a great stay and I would recommend for families coming to the area.

Great stay in Studio City

Had a great week-long stay near Universal Studios in Studio City. Was visiting family, so we didn't spend a great deal of time at the property, but the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the location was convenient.

Lovely Home nice setting

We stayed in this home while visiting the nearby Universal Studios. The home was well within walking distance and is in a beautiful location. The back garden is a lovely retreat, I really enjoyed the smell of the lemon tree!!!

Family & Dog-Friendly Location

This was a great location for our family to stay for our whirlwind Universal Studios/California road trip! Everyone had a place to sleep, the oldest teen had his own basement cave to inhabit in the evenings, and our dog was quite comfortable in the home and the small yard with *lots* of trees and plants to sniff!

Great for Families

My family and I had a great time staying at this Hollywood Hills location. Clean, cute, and close to our activities in Downtown LA, Burbank Airport, and Universal Studios. Plenty of room for a family and a good amount of household amenities. Quiet and safe neighborhood. I had great communication with the host and check-in and check-out was easy. Walking to the nearby store was also very convenient. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Good house, bad parking

We had some trouble checking in. Make sure get confirmation from property manager they received your drivers license. This caused us trouble check in. House was clean. Enough space for all. Parking on street was horrible. There's no space and curbs high scrape bottom of door. We liked it since 5 minutes drive next to Universal Studio.

Great Property, Close to Universal Studios

My family of 6 rented the house for two nights because of its close proximity to Universal Studios. You really could not be closer and it be more convenient. We went and ate dinner the night before our Universal day and took an Uber. Very easy. The house is about 1 mile away.

This house is in a great location & was a good fit for what we needed. The boys enjoyed having their own space downstairs, but it does not have a door, so I would not call it a bedroom. The title of Luxury is a bit misleading, I like vintage better. It has some dated furniture & decor. It could use a new coat of paint on the inside. But being a family of 6 with kids ranging from 6-12, we were happy with the location & had a great time at Universal.

Wonderful Hollywood Hills Home

This Hollywood Hills Home is simply lovely. Beautiful backyard area with nice views. Great for bigger family groups, like mine. Basement room has no door, but own large space with own bath. Comfortable master BR bed, beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhood. All amenities were working well and made for a very comfortable and lovely stay. Kid friendly, too. Includes pac n play for baby and living room futon bed. Walking distance to a great Thai place, and a lot more. We loved it!!

Home Away From Home

Truly sweet little home nestled in a lovely neighborhood just a mile and a half from Universal Studios. I really enjoyed the home as much as the adventures we took. I was happy in the bright lit living room reading a book or chatting with family. The décor was simple and tasteful...everything was clean and ready for use. The backyard and outdoor area was an awesome place to utilize in the warm evening when the sun went down. This was a wonderful way to taste a bit of Los Angeles and then come back to a comfortable and safe nest! Thank you.

Hollywood Hills Home

This home is very convenient to Universal Studios and Hollywood. Plenty of room, windows, bright and nice. The beds were a little hard for us because we like really soft beds & run into this problem frequently. They are the nice tempurpedic beds I believe. We had a little problem operating the living room remote...we are not real tech savy. The place was clean and comfortable and I would recommend it and stay again! Ann is very easy to work with and pleasant.

So-Cal getaway

This property offered a great location for the start of our southern California getaway. It was very convenient to downtown LA which we enjoyed. The neighborhood was really cool. Fun to walk up and around the streets and see the great views. We also enjoyed the perched terrace atop the backyard, giving us a cool view of the Hollywood Hills. Overall, we loved our stay and were comfortable in this home, yet it was a little dirty and unkempt. Dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher and some of the other "clean" dishes were not clean. And the "comfortable hammock" in the "oasis" of a backyard was quite an overshoot.

Overall an ok stay

Overall, location & property itself was good. Great access to universal studios. That was only a 30 minute walk however, the closest supermarket was a 50+ minute walk & everything else had to be accessed with uber. There is an expensive, very limited corner store but we were a party of 9 & could not depend on them. I had communicated that we would not have a vehicle so that was a little disappointing. Considering the location i personally think the stay was slightly overpriced. There is no netflix or disney + but there was an xbox. However, I did appreciate that i needed an earlier check in & it was granted.

Nice place close to universal studios

We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room. The dining and patio areas were perfect for our needs. Only a few suggestions to improve the stay. There weren't any mixing bowls in the kitchen and very few mixing spoons and no wisk. This made it hard to cook our meals and we had to be very creative to make it all work. Also the second bedroom upstairs had a plastic mattress pad that would squeak all night when you moved. We went to remove the mattress pad and found out it really needed to be on that mattress so it made for some long, squeaky nights. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Location is unbeatable. Top of the line appliances and amenities throughout. Views of the Hollywood Hills from the upstairs patio are incredible. Guests will especially enjoy the backyard which is a tropical oasis with fruit trees and two patios for eating and entertaining.
