Cozy wooden house in a quiet location

Nice, cozy accommodation, equipped with everything you need and more. Lots of materials for sports activities in the area were available. It was also very clean and nothing was missing. The opening times of the pool when booking were inaccurate. When booking, it said until September. The pool was open until September 7th, so we couldn't use the pool from September 23rd to 26th despite the beautiful weather. This should be described in more detail. I had written two emails to the owners about a patio door that couldn't be opened and apart from the agency, which couldn't help me, there was no response. Contact before check-in was possible via the email address. All in all, it was a nice and cozy place to stay. We were very happy

House in the Pines

Beautiful property. Had a great stay. The only issue is the steep driveway. Otherwise noce home well equipped.

Was perfect for our family

Spent 3 nights and 4 days here. And it was great. Extra amenities were awesome. The AC was sublime with the heat and cooling down the kids after spending all our days outside at Jenkinson Lake and South Lake Tahoe. The kitchen had just enough for us to get by cooking simple dinners and breakfast. The community pool was a nice perk. Really appreciated the great communication with the owners. Made everything so easy and welcoming. Only con…and this is strictly just a personal thing. Wife and I had a hard time sleeping in the master bed. Kids slept like slumbering bears so I know it was just a us thing. We would definitely come back!

Quiet escape

Overall, we really enjoyed staying here. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family. The pool was such a nice amenity since the lake was so busy. The only downside (but not deterrent) was the lack of curtains on front windows. And the air freshener scent was a bit overwhelming. But all in all none of that would deter us from staying here again.

The house is everything you expect. My bedroom had a large new shower with great water pressure. The owner is great if you need anything.

Pollack Pines Cabin

We loved staying at this cabin. It is cute, cozy and decorated just like I would. All of the amenities of home surrounded by beautiful pines in a quiet mountainous neighborhood near a gorgeous lake.

Beautiful

Very beautiful, well appointed home. Serene, lots of wildlife, comfortable beds and great view from the deck. Both front and rear decks are nice with comfy furnishings. Lots of lighting too! Big showers and bathrooms in general. Kitchen was great for preparing food!

Thanksgiving

The cabin is lovely-clean, spacious and surrounded by trees. We loved the location, close to the wineries we like and beautiful hikes- and a great place to cut down a Christmas tree. We were there Thanksgiving weekend and the place even had some Thanksgiving decorations for us! The only things to note is that the driveway indeed is very steep,so my mother with arthritic knees had a very hard time coming down the driveway each time we left (just something to keep in mind for others.) The other thing to plan for is for baking and cooking, some supplies were limited (like having only two teaspoons). These in no way reflect poorly on the owners, just thought I'd note it for planning purposes for others. Overall, great cabin in a very quiet area!

Excellent House in Pollock Pines

The house is exactly as pictured. Owner and property manager provide accurate information and proactive communication. Located very close to stores and restaurants off Highway 50 at Pollock Pines, and also very close to the Sly Park recreation area. Please note the warning regarding the driveway, which if you're uncomfortable with the incline and distance, could be difficult. Thank you for a terrific stay!

Great weekend getaway

This cabin was everything it said it was and more. Very comfortable, easy layout, as we were there with our 2 kids. We enjoyed the little town and towns surrounding it. I think the snow was the highlight for our kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area

Spacious, comfortable cabin in the woods!

We enjoyed our romantic weekend getaway at Susan and Steve's cabin. The cabin is roomy, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is close to Jenkinson Lake at Sly Park, near a grocery store, and within easy reach of Placerville. We would definitely recommend this property to others! Thank you!

Cabin in the Mountains

This was a nice peacefully place to stay. It had most things of what we needed. The beds were comfortable. Even some board games and DVDs were provided. A few more baking dishes would have been nice options to use for those that want to do some cooking/baking while there. Having some seasonings was a surprise. Most of our needs were met at this location. The temperatures fluctuated. So bring a jacket for the nights and mornings. Toiletry items were provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper). We were disappointed that the pool was under repair during our stay. A Safeway in town was also nice for picking up needed items. If we come back to the area, we would consider staying here again.

Great Location

We rented this cabin for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us and the house was very clean and well appointed. Be sure to check out the lake down the road. It is very picturesque and relaxing. Also, downtown Placerville (about a 15 minute drive) is worth checking out. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great stay at the cabin!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Sierra cabin. Everything was clearly communicated, and labeled in the house. There was plenty of necessary supplies. Home was very clean and comfortable. This was a great stay and we would definitely book again!!

Cozy Cabin

This cabin definitely feels like you are in the mountains.. Susan was great to work with and the process super easy. She had great communication and really worked with us to have the best accommodations!
