Steg tillbaka i tiden på Paddymelon Cottage, byggdes ursprungligen 1858 och renoverades av de nuvarande ägarna under 1996. 97. Stugan har två sovrum, ett badrum, ett äter kök, ett mysigt vardagsrum med öppen spis och split-system luftkonditioneringsapparat Stora veranda krullar runt framsidan av stugan vilket möjliggör uteservering med utsikt över den arv som anges i trädgården, mot hamnen Philip min webbplats ..

Ett sovrum har en queen size-säng, den andra en dubbel futon säng och en enkelsäng.

Allt lakan och handdukar tillhandahålls.

Köket innehåller porslin, bestick, dubbla handfat, familjens storlek kyl / frys, mikrovågsugn och en turbo ugn är tillgängliga för dig. Köksbordet rymmer bekvämt sex personer.

Frukost bestämmelser finns. WIFI tillgängligt.

Det finns ett bibliotek med böcker och DVD-skivor som du kan använda.

Lovely heritage cottage and equally lovely host. Quiet and relaxing place to stay for our long weekend away. The town is long past its boom days but retains a lot of its charm regardless as well as its recognition of its gold mining history and its focus on being a "Book Town", including a Booktown festival in March. The pub does a very enjoyable meal and a good coffee at one of the cafes and quality pie at the bakery is readily available. Easy drive to bigger centres and other small towns.

Cosy and homely

Cosy and delightful cottage

The cottage is very homely, good heating and electric blankets. Very comfortable beds and a great. location. A short walk to the town. Quiet and relaxing. No stove but microwave and electric frypan was fine. Loved our stay

If you like quaintness, this cottage is for you. I love it...Bed was comfortable enough for us, the little 'extras' provided were delightful. Marlene made a point of catching up with us. Clunes and surrounding area is totally worth a visit.

Paddymelon Cottage

Quiet and restful few days in beautiful up town Clunes. Cottage was very well presented and reminded us very much of our Grandma's house. Good place as a base to tour local area and small towns plus Lambley Nursery which was main purpose of visit. Marlene a gracious and informative host.

restfull location

lovely little cottage (attached but seperate to main house) very neat with origional features. Close walking distance to main town centre. Very clean and comfortable.

Goldfields Getaway

Authentic miner's cottage 5 minutes walk from town centre. Old world charm with all the necessary comforts for a short stay. The host, Marlene, was on hand with information and country charm. A good base to explore the nearby gold mining towns of Talbot, Avoca and Creswick. Highly recommended for 2-3 people.

Beaitiful old house

Very comfortable, had everything we could need. Wsrm and cosy in very cold weather. Had that 'old house' smell but that is expected. We could have stayed longer if we weren't on a tight schedule.

Cosy Cottage

This was a lovely cottage with all conveniences. The fire was lovely and fresh linen and towels welcome. Very convenient to Ballarat with an easy drive to all attractions nearby. Beds were comfy and it was nice and clean.

We are a retired couple with nine grandchildren. We moved to Clunes in 1996 and have enjoyed our involvement with the local community.
We are both artists, John is a musician and I am a painter-printmaker.
There are examples of my work hanging in the cottage.
When there is a vacancy in the cottage we enjoy evenings on the verandah..

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is a historical cottage, built in 1858 in a heritage street. Its proximity to the town centre allows guests a stay without driving. We have a unique view of the Port Philip mine which is one of the earliest digging sights during the gold rush.
While the cottage is totally self sufficient, we live in a building at the back and are available 24/7
