Beläget i historiskt vackra Clunes, är denna underbara butikstuga, Madam Saddler, från c1853 och har smakfullt restaurerats och dekorerats med alla moderna bekvämligheter för att göra din vistelse så bekväm, avkopplande och minnesvärd som möjligt .. Madam Saddler är ett boende med bara ett sovrum som är bäst lämpat för par som letar efter en romantisk avkopplande privat semester. Ytterligare två vuxna över 14 år kan rymmas i sovrummet och djurområdet.(extra avgift per vuxen gäller).

Det tog sina nuvarande ägare över 15 år att samla in och återställa 1850: s byggnadsmaterial, och ytterligare fyra år för att personligen hålla denna lyxiga 1 * sovrumshus.

En stor ansträngning för att detaljera denna lilla stuga, och är en perfekt plats där gäster kan bli bortskämda.

"Vackra", "underbara", "charmiga", "romantiska", "lyxiga" är alla ord som har använts över länge, men på något sätt för Madam Saddler verkar de inte räcka!

A Great Place to Stay

We loved our stay at Madam Saddler. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the many ornaments and historical pieces are artistically arranged. It's really quite magical. There's a lovely garden to sit in and it's only two doors down to the pub's beer garden. Everything was spotlessly clean including all glasses and crockery (rare indeed!). Communication with the host was excellent.

Wonderful place in history

We just loved our stay in Madam Saddlers. Sam has done an incredible job with the historical research and prresention and made a really comfortable place to spend a few days. The facilities are excellent with a very well equiped kitchen including a great coffee machine! We slept well, the bed a bedding very comfy. We used the washing machine, dryer and bbq which all worked well. Thankyou Sam

Comfortable, cosy and charming

Madam Saddler is charming, comfortable and incredibly cosy. Very well appointed - with quality linens, coffee machine, good TV, very comfortable sofas, a lovely wood fire heater, soft lighting (an important part of the gentle atmosphere of this lovely cottage), lots of room, and with a leafy, private courtyard. The heater had been lit earlier in the day for our afternoon arrival, just one of the many thoughtful and inviting features of our stay. So relaxing. The cottage is close to everything - highly recommended is Quigley & Clarke across the road - we dined and breakfasted there - excellent. Madam Saddler provided the perfect getaway for our city-weary souls. Thankyou so much.

Much needed getaway

big 19th century vibes in the centre of Clunes

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner is a great guy who's clearly put a lot of work into giving the property a luxurious yet original gold rush feel.

Beautiful unique place.

This place was very beautiful and very enjoyable to stay at. A very unique place with a lot of historical significance. The attention to detail for the decor as well as the little extras are a credit to the owner Sam. Would definitely like to stay again.

Unique, superbly clean & cosy

Truly a joy. In the small, quiet, quaint town of Clunes, we found this standout gem. The most perfect way to spend 3 nights to refresh and recharge. Will return during colder times to enjoy the fireplace. Could not recommend highly enough.

Madam Saddler is a gorgeous,cosy little cottage with loads of history and character.Our stay was very comfortable.Great place to recharge.Sam was very helpful and made communication very easy.Would definitely stay again.

Romantic

Fabulous stay at Madam Saddler. Loved the attention to detail and the generous things that it offered. A full kitchen if you wanted to cook. We love the sculpture of Madam Saddler. Very special.
