Raven's Landing Studio - romantisk resa med spektakulär utsikt!

Ravens Landing Studio är verkligen borta från allt. Högt uppe på en kulle med utsikt väster om Olympiska bergen och Puget Sound. Den vetter mot väster så att den fångar solen sent på eftermiddagen. Vi avslutar dagen med spektakulära solnedgångar. Miles av vandrings- och cykelleder. Fiske, kajakpaddling, strandkamning, utforska och bara några minuter från den olympiska halvön. Bainbridge Island och Kingston färjer trettiofem och tjugo minuter bort. Utmärkt utrymme för att skriva, måla, koppla av och drömma. Raven's Landing Studio är ett 400 sf studioutrymme med en mysig fullstor säng. Utrymmet är bra för de flesta, men om du är över sex meter kan det vara lite pressat. De flesta älskar skönheten i rymden och storleken har inte varit ett problem.
Det finns ett stort däck med grill från de franska dörrarna. Ätbar, minikök komplett med mikrovågsugn, kokplatta, kaffebryggare, brödrost, elektrisk tekanna, diskbänk, disk, kaffe, te, honung, grädde, etc. Litet bistrobord framför morgonfrukosten. Det finns en kajak och mountainbike. Granola, havregryn, mjölk och färsk frukt kompletterar varandra. Vandrings- och cykelleder ligger bara några minuter bort. Point no Point Beach och Light House fem minuter bort. Buck Lake badpark fem minuter bort. Livsmedel och restaurang tre minuter bort. Nature Preserve fem minuter bort. Utmärkt fiske, svampjakt och krabba på hösten och sommaren.

Peaceful Get-Away

We had a peaceful stay at this property. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the view outside the french doors was spectacular. We especially liked watching the birds visit the bird feeders. Owner was responsive.

Perfect for everything we needed

We stayed at Raven's Landing while attending a family reunion down the street and it was just perfect. It was close to the Hansville Store, Hood Canal, hiking trails and the family cabin. The cottage was very comfortable and the views from the deck were stunning. Darcy was a gracious hostess and very helpful.

Cozy and romantic.

Just got it for a few days to get away. Definitely fit the bill. Remote and quiet. We were able to cuddle up all day and look at the view.

Lovely and Peaceful

Gorgeous property landscaping and view. Attractively furnished and very clean. Perfect for one person or a couple w/zero interest in any cooking. Refrigerator is dorm room sized and and there is no umbrella to shade the deck from direct afternoon sun. Wonderfully quiet and very pretty place to stay. Kind and responsive host.

Peaceful.

Lovely place to recuperate and find tranquility. Disappointed to discover no hot tub or even directions of where to locate said hot tub in her listing. If you post states that you have it please make sure you have it clearly marked and ready for client use. That was one of the reasons we booked here. The place was very lovely and quiet. May return again. Thank you

Weekend Stay

The property itself is lovely and has a beautiful view. It is not set out away from other houses. While there is a separate entrance to the room, it is not a separate property. We were greatly uncomfortable that there was a shared wall with a door leading into the rest of the house, even though it was covered by a piece of cloth. In addition, the property was occupied which was NOT mentioned anywhere in the description, including open windows on the deck so there was no privacy. The indication that it is a romantic getaway is misleading as we were not alone, were fully aware of the two people on the property, and felt very uncomfortable to speak above a whisper. It should be clearly identified in the listing that it is an occupied/shared space so that people can take that into consideration when choosing to stay.

Relaxing & Lovely

This was a charming studio, in a quiet neighborhood, with gorgeous views, anytime, especially sunset. As advertised, all the basic needed items are there, on a smallish scale, but PERFECT for one or two people Darcy is super friendly, totally enjoyed her ready smile, and, easy conversation. We explored the beaches... Mostly shells, lots of sand dollars, not so much actual sand, if that's your thing. Great to explore part of WA that I was not at all familiar with. Recommend short drive to Kingston for walking about and ice cream!

Beautiful and peaceful

I needed to recharge in a quiet place and both indoors and outdoors were lovely (books, art, view and a comfy bed). Easy access to trails and beaches, and Darcy (the host) is gracious and caring.

Peaceful getaway

Darcy has thought of everything you might need to relax and feel at home. Nice porch and yard to let dogs run around. Bed was comfy. Thoughtful decorations and supplies to make your own meals. And if you love books, this little room is like a library.

Tranquil, beautiful get away place

A lovely place to enjoy gorgeous, peaceful gardens and outside art, deck, views, as well as an artistically appointed studio. A short stay for us while in transit so didn't get to take advantage of nearby hiking trails and other amenities which in hindsight wish we could have. Would indeed be a wonderful place for a retreat. Enjoyed meeting/chatting with owner Darcy who was respectful, pleasant and accommodating. Thank you Darcy!

I love to get away for just a weekend to reset my outlook on life. I have hosted travelers in my studio in the past and loved the experience. I just opened a new Airbnb getaway, Raven's Landing this year. I am excited to welcome new people to our beautiful area!

Varför värden valde detta boende

I chose this property because of the west facing view of the Olympics and Hood Canal. I love that it feels away from it all while it really is only twenty minutes to the Kingston/Edmond Ferry and forty minutes to the Bainbridge Island/Seattle Ferry. I designed this home and love to share the private studio with travelers.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Raven's Landing Studio is only minutes from Point no Point beach with miles of beach walking, I am also minutes away from Buck Lake for swimming in the summer as well as the Nature Reserve just down the road for a brief walk through the woods opening up to a drop dead gorgeous view of Hood Canal. There are also mountain bike and walking trails just up the road from my home. Fishing and kayaking are just minutes away. I have a hybrid mountain bike as well as a kayak that guests are welcome to use as well.
