En härlig privat reträtt med ett nautiskt tema i hjärtat av Henley Beach. Perfekt för avkoppling, avkoppling och mittemot en härlig park med en lekplats och grillplats. Detta lilla, mysiga och personliga utrymme är perfekt för resenärer, par och små familjer. Inga trappor och det bästa valuta för pengarna. En del Henley-historia i samband med gammal charm skapar en härlig miljö för Getaway. Koppla av nära vår Neptune-vattenfunktion eller njut av en grill i utomhusområdet. Foxtel TV med utsetts sport, musik, film och barn kanal kommer att hålla dig roade på natten. Det är en kort 8 minuters promenad hemifrån de lokala restaurangerna i området och på Henley Beach Square. Mata hästarna på floden Torrens eller utnyttja den kostnadsfria cykeluthyrning från det lokala biblioteket eller surfa livräddnings klubben.
Ledsen detta utrymme är inte djurvänligt eftersom det inte har något riktigt gräs som våra husdjur älskar.

Busshållplatsen är några minuter bort som tar dig direkt in i stadens centrum. Du har det bästa av allt här. Ingen av gatan parkering tyvärr men det är en lugn gata.

Henley Beach är en brunnsort efter Beachside förort. En fantastisk plats för en semester. Stranden vid Henley är en av de bästa i världen (och jag har rest mycket) med sand som talcumpulver och klart blått vatten. Ett överflöd av restauranger och coola kaféer, affärer, barer och glassbarer omger vattnet kant, frodigt grönt gräs och vatten funktioner på Henley Square. Något som alla kommer att njuta av. Om du vill gå in i staden kan du ta en kort promenad till Henley Beach Road för att fånga bussen. 10 minuter till flygplatsen i en taxi eller uber och West Lakes köpcentrum busshållplats direkt bakom huset 2 minuter bort. Glenelg ligger bara 10 minuter bort med bil eller om du är golfare har vi 4 golfbanor inom 10 minuter från vårt hus. Historic Grange är en nästa förort med lika fantastiska stränder och kustlinje och den extra möjligheten att besöka Charles Sturt Cottage som byggdes 1840 omgiven av vackra trädgårdar och damm / creek med ankor - en bra picknickplats. Om du föredrar en promenad längs stranden från Henley brygga till Grange Jetty kan du se de fantastiska "Marines" vid Grange, Australiens enda viktorianska terrasshus byggda på strandpromenaden. Det är bara 20 minuter till staden med bussar som regelbundet går längs Henley Beach Väg. Det finns en 7 x dag stormarknad på Henley Beach Road och även en på Grange Road.

Outstanding Getaway

Thoroughly recommend this getaway - hosts were so accommodating - conveniently located close to Henley Beach and outstanding dining options. Accommodation was immaculately clean and stocked (including BBQ and private courtyard). Best dining experience - Estia Greek Restaurant - absolutely devine. Great wineries within 30 mins drive - We plan on returning.

Christmas Visit

Visited with my daughter for Christmas and the place was just as described and perfect for us. Great communication with our host. The unit was very clean and comfortable and it was lovely that there was wine, croissants and various treats for us to eat. Nice quiet area. Parking out front was easy and we were about 5-10 minutes drive to the beach. You would need a car to go to cafes or beach. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the relaxing holiday!!

Compact with everything you need. Bed very comfortable. Great shower. Lounge very comfortable too. Nice little courtyard. Washing machine a bonus. Breakfast provisions a real treat. Owners very responsive and great comms. Would stay again.

Great holiday

The property was fantastic. There was everything we needed including breakfast food.We enjoyed the outdoor area for having breakfast.The facilities inside were great also.We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed a great 6 day getaway here and it was perfect. The property was lovely and the host had supplied breakfast goodies that lasted us 4 days, we didnt expect this but it was greatly appreciated. The property is a short 10min walk to the bus, either into town or to Henley Beach. The property had everything we could possibly have wanted. Thanks to our hosts.

Great hideaway

Tucked away in a quiet street, with much privacy, this is a gem. Good security and stable internet. Very comfortable bed and lounge. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge easily flowed through to the bedroom. Everything I wanted, and a lot more, was provided. Lovely touches and decor makes it feel like home. Plenty of room too and the courtyard is a an added bonus. An easy walk to the beach and always Ubers around when needed. While I didn’t meet them, the owners are not far away if needed. I had a hiccup with the television one evening and it was patiently and methodically worked through on the phone. This would certainly be my first choice to stay when I’m back this way.

Great spot in quiet location. Shower VERY slippery and dangerous. Loose rugs a trip hazzard. Otherwise cozy with everything you need. Great host.

Excellent Henley Beach accommodation for a couple retreat or small family getaway. Ideal location.

Bridget, the Owner goes the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely stay with absolutely everything you could need, supplied. Ideal location close to Henley Beach and also 24/7 Western Hospital. Property is spotless and very quiet neighbourhood. We have stayed at property twice now and hope to return in 2020. If you are a couple or small family, look no further than this affordable, well located and quality property. JennyP

Accommodation is of a high quality in a location close to Henley Beach. Owner is great to deal with.

Property is ideally located in a quiet Street very close to Western Hospital and Henley Beach. Very private and extremely clean with peaceful decor. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable and sofa bed is ideal for adults. With electric stove/hotplates, dish washer, microwave, washing machine and dryer together with utensils and cookwear there is nothing you need to bring with you to enjoy your stay. The personal touches by the owner were very appreciated including fresh flowers in the kitchen/dining area. Thoroughly recommend this property to travellers and we have already booked our next stay. Owner is happy to answer any enquiries and response time is quick. Lovely and peaceful property in a private location close to beach, shops and restaurants.

Very cosy!

The studio is perfect for 2 guests. Everything has been thought of with required amenities for a short or longer stay. Location is walking distance to the beach and the area is quite peaceful. Would book again.

Cosy anfd quiet place

This was a good place for peace and having a quiet time. We also had a big group of sporting athletes who booked the house next door and this place was heaven to get away from the crowd. The place is well equipped with kitchen facilities and bedding ...There are no worries of the cold weather in July as there are more than enough facilities to keep you warm. The owners are so welcoming and I will definitely come back here again

Ideal one bedroom getaway!

Cosy private cottage. I loved staying over the weekend. It had everything we needed, even a private courtyard area to sit and relax. An excellent quiet location, easy to find and a short walk parks, and walking distance to the beach and shops. I am going to stay again for sure. This place is ideal for a weekend getaway, beautifully styled. Comfortable bed, extremely clean and tidy, and plenty of natural light. The owners are a delight. I highly recommend this property to stay at

Tranquil private getaway

We were very surprised to find such a beautiful hideaway!! We enjoyed our stay immensely!!! So peaceful and tranquil. Amazingly clean and the mattress was so soft and cozy. The private outdoor area was perfect for our morning breakfast and our afternoon drinks and coffee. I would recommend this place to a couple wanting peace of mind relaxed mode feeling, yet close to all amenities. Thank you Tony for allowing us to stay and we definitely will come back when we come to Adelaide again

Peaceful Sanctuary

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful unit with our 7 month old baby in November. We found the apartment to be artfully decorated and very well appointed with all of the amenities that a young family with a baby needed. We found access to the unit very simple and thought that the courtyard was a great space. It would be ideal for people with older children, or just to enjoy some beverages in the evening. Our only issue was the bedroom configuration as we brought a port-a-cot with us and it was just a little tricky maneuvering to access the baby during the night. The location was peaceful, but a bit further than we envisaged when booking. We had easy access to a range of food places and plenty of room to cook for ourselves. The suburb of Henley Beach is very beautiful. We would recommend this place to anyone. My husband particularly enjoyed the IQ box for evening viewing.

Hideaway at Henley Beach

We were met by our host Bridget on arrival who kindly familiarised us with "The Getaway". It was very private and hidden away from the street which also meant it was very peaceful. More than sufficient amenities provided by our host made us feel at home immediately. "The Getaway" is nestled back a few blocks from the beachfront. It is only a minute's drive or a 15 minute stroll to Henley Beach, which includes various cafés and restaurants, a supermarket and a few boutiques. Public transport such as a local bus service available to various locations. Long stretches of beach provide ample outdoor space for the more energetic and just a short 10-15 minute drive from Adelaide Airport. We found the accomodation very cosy and comfortable and most suitable for a single person or couples.

Nothing beats a sunny day cruising in our classic cars and checking out the wineries and delicious restaurants in our travels. We enjoy listening to blues at our local Beach Bar and a good boogie. We're passionate about travel and always seeking new adventures. Our life motto is to live life like someone left the gate open!
