Holiday with family

My family from UK travelled up from Brisbane I flew to cairns to meet them and had 8 days sightseeing and travelling around cairns House was great pool was wonderful House in a Great location Very quiet area House was very homely We all had a great stay Thank you

Great Getaway

The home is very well furnished and decorated with a great holiday vibe. The Airconditioned bedrooms were a godsend. The pool was loved by all of us with many hours spent swimming. The home is well situated.

Paradise in FNQ

Utterly delightful home and garden to share with an expert and generous host in Margie. This is a perfect location and an absolute joy for us to spend time here- private, natural and very comfortable. We are very grateful to have the opportunity and loved the “bonus” presence of Charlie, darling dog. He maybe sensed we were in need of some “tlc” and he willingly provided!

Beautiful tropical vibe

I would highly recommend this property. It is in great location to Red Beret hotel which has fantastic meals. The property itself is very clean and has a real relaxed feel to it. Great value for money

Fantastic Accomodation!

Absolutely loved staying here, it felt like home. The kids spent their afternoons in the pool while we sat back and relaxed. Supermarkets were just around the corner and it was an easy 15 minute drive into cairns. Will be back for sure!

Lovely, quiet accommodation

We had 4 x colleagues needing a quiet place to stay whilst working nightshift locally. Comfortable, quiet long-term stay with an accommodating and considerate host. Would 100% stay here again.

AWESOME LOCATION AND AMENITIES

Margie presented her home beautifully with everything you need. The air-conditioned bedrooms and fans in the living area were very welcome in the tropical heat along with the pool. This is a great location with most of the things we did were close by and The Red Beret and shopping centre were near. It truly was a "home away from home". As it was a busy time in Cairns, I was very lucky to find this place and was so very happy not to be in the city area. Thanks again Margie.

Excellent Host & Property

Margie was excellent from the start of the booking process, we were delayed due to border restrictions and she done everything she could to make our stay pleasant as possible. A fantastic property in a lovely suburb of Cairns. Thanks Margie for all you done, when we return to cairns we know where we will be staying.

A great place.

Our stay was excellent from arrival to departure. Margie was great to deal with and the place was fantastic. The pool, location and the presentation of the property was fantastic. The little extras like the starter supplies in the fridge were a nice and welcoming touch. We loved our occasional visits from Charlie. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Awesome

Our flight was delayed by a few hours and communication with Margie was so easy, she greeted us upon arrival to the house. The home was clean, warm and welcoming. There were snacks, drinks, chocolates. Fantastic location, so peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved the trampoline and especially the pool. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous place to stay

We arrived horrendously late after long flight delays, but Margie made the house really welcoming and easy to access. She also provided a really generous supply of breakfast and snacks so there was no mad rush to the shops in the morning. We were really grateful! The house was really well set up. Everything was really clean and comfortable and there were lots of kitchen provisions. There was a super comfy leather lounge suite (I wasn't sure from the photos and I was really dreading that I'd find an uncomfortable wicker set that we've often had on Qld holidays) and dining area inside, but we spent most of our time outside in the lovely patio area and gardens. Shops, pub, takeaways, supermarket, parks are all nearby but the area is really quiet and pleasant. You see the tourist train at the end of the garden 4 times a day (only) but that adds to the fun. We all looked forward to returning to the house as a pleasant and peaceful retreat from the tourist tracks. Our teenagers really enjoyed the pool and the ample spaces to get away from the parents. Thank you Margie for all the effort you obviously put into this house.

Redlynch family apartment

A very pleasant location in a quiet residential area just outside Cairns - about a 20 min drive from the city centre and its facilities with a hire car. Laundry facilities work well, the kitchen is a little dated, but the apartment has plenty of space and comfortable covered outdoor living area backing out onto the garden, with a pool that is lovely for cooling off in!

Fabulous house

Fabulous house, Margie you've thought of everything to make a stay comfortable. The weather was wonderful for the first few days, now we know to visit during winter season! Overall my stay was amazing! Loved every bit of the property. Thanks for being a wonder full host and having us at your property! Hope to visit again in the next year.

A great space to chill out in cairns.

Margie is a great host and was very helpful. We arrived late but we were warmly welcomed with some little treats. The accommodation was perfect for us and our adult children. Stylishly decorated and spacious. The location was great just down the road from several tourist spots and a short stroll to the classsic Red Beret Pub. The garden and pool were great, we waved to the tourist train at the bottom of the garden and enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard. At night we enjoyed listening to the curlews calling. A great space to chill out in cairns, highly recommend to anyone looking for holiday accommodation in the region. Thanks Margie for being a great host and flexible to our needs.

Excellent property. Great location and amenities

The property is beautifully maintained, clean and spacious with a great yard, clubhouse and trampoline for kids. Nicely stocked for self catering. We arrived late and Marg made sure that we were looked after, showed us around and even stocked in some breakfast staples. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay. It is central to Cairns city, Skyrail and easy access to restaurants, bottle shop, shops and local pub.
