Lovely cosy home away from home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crowson House No. 1.It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable (super comfy beds). Easy walk into Milthorpe main street. We stayed on a cold and wet weekend and the house was delightfully warm. Host, Joanne, was very easy and pleasant to deal with. Oh and thanks Joanne for the lovely welcome gift. Wish we could have stayed longer.Would definitely stay again should we return to Milthorpe.

Lovely cosy cottage in a picturesque village - we loved the electric blankets on every bed, the separate living area for the kids, the claw foot bath and location of the property.We were a bit disappointed at a miscommunication about the home-made cake, and the single key that was needed to then travel between doors was not ideal and made me worry about difficulty opening doors in a fire etc so would suggest cutting enough keys to lesve one in each door. But overall a lovely stay!

Beautiful House, great host

Host has excellent communication from the start of the booking process to check-in then checking-out. The house is well presented, very clean and has little bits and pieces which tells a story. Love the modern touch to the rustic feel. Cannot recommend this place more than enough. Thank you for hosting us and we hope to visit again in the future!

Great base for small trips

This neat house has everything you need for short or long stay. The kitchen is well equiped, 2 good size lounge area, 2 bathrooms and 3 good sized bedrooms, our bed was very comfortable. The house is nice and clean and has a nice outdoor deck and secure yard for children to play in.The gas heater in the main lounge area was warm and comforting, perfect for a cosy evening.The house is a do able walk into Millthorpe and is a great base for site seeing in the local area, just on an hour pretty drive to Cowra and even closer to Orange. Perfect place to stay for families, couples or friends. The house has off street parking the drive way is very narrow though.

Country escape

A delightful experience

It was a positive stay in the home right from start to finish. The location was perfectly located to easily access local amenities. The host was incredibly helpful and provided clear and consistent communication at the beginning of the booking, in the lead up and during. Wonderful, peaceful cosy home

Quaint character-filled home, warm and cosy with the fire, everything you need. Sunny deck with large outdoor setting. Such a peaceful place. Walking distance to cafe, supermarket and pub. Millthorpe's such a pretty town. Excellent meals at the pub. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Cozy and convenient

We always enjoy staying in Crowson house. It’s got everything we need. It’s cozy and comfortable with easy walking distance to the centre of the village. It’s also pet friendly with an enclosed backyard that our dog can have a run around.

Excellent pet friendly accommodation but be careful

The cottage is very well appointed and spacious as well as comfortable The location is a few minutes walk from the village centre. We stayed for only 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the time there. On the down side we were disappointed with aspects of maintenance e.g. the outside umbrella was unusable and there was no other convenient shade that we could share with our puppy. The blind in the main lounge was broken making the room even darker. Lighting in the cottage is generally poor We didnt use the dishwasher as the decorative timber panel falls off when you attempt to open it. Unfortunately our 5 month old puppy left a poo inside as we were leaving which we didn't notice. As a result the host hit us with a $200 cleaning bill which we think is excessive to say the least, the labour and cleaning products could not possibly justify this cost. Unfortunately this has left us with a disappointing view.

Beautiful Cottage

Lovely place in a nice location in town. The house had ever amenity you could possibly need and some you didn’t even think about. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Would definitely stay there again. Thankyou for sharing your home.
