Nice house, near the beach, wonderful small town

Really nice place to stay here, with a short walk to the beach. Having the main floor upstairs gives you some really nice views. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen and a relaxing living and dining area. We would stay here again. Best place we stayed at (out of 4) in Australia.

Lovely accommodation

This property was clean, well decorated and maintained in a stunning location. I was only disappointed with the linen provided for the beds and the lack of extra blankets for the cold weather.

Christmas break

Lovely house with great views to Marengo. Well equipped kitchen. So close to town, you can leave the car in the garage. But just far enough to be away from the Christmas holiday crowds. Highly recommend a break here.

Holiday Perfection

Hard to beat this quiet location with blissful views. One of the best equipped houses we’ve stayed in - right across the road from the beach, walkable to everywhere and dog friendly to boot. We’d love to come back.

Family getaway!

My husband and I and our family had a wonderful stay at Anchorage. It was perfect accomodation for our group and two little poodles. Perfectly situated for walks and we all appreciated the wonderful views. Would love to have a return visit

Very easy accomodation and Great location

Taking less than a minute to get to the beach - the house had a fantastic location , and with living on the first floor the views are amazing and great for a relaxing break. A short walk into town and close to the fisherman’s co-op there are food options galore.

Location location location

This home is in such a wonderful location walking distance to the beach and main street. Views were beautiful with magical sunsets and stunning sunrises. The little yard for our dog was great. Will def be back.

Perfect Location

This property was perfect for our young family, being right across from a beach and inlet. The property itself was great - very clean and easily slept us all comfortably. The small yard was secure for our small dog and there were also provisions in the garage for a dog although we didn't use these. Was very quiet and easy to access. Will definitely stay here again - maybe with another family as there were 2 bedroom and a lounge we didn't even use!

Fabulous Great Ocean Road Getaway

Great location within easy walking distance of Apollo Bay village. The house was fantastic - spacious, clean and with very modern amendites. The bonus was being dog friendly and the secure dog run/space was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Apollo Bay Stay Yet

This property was fantastic - the perfect set up for our two tween kids and dog with the downstairs level set up for the kids and upstairs for the parents. The balcony with sea views was lovely to lounge on. The property was very generous with all the provisions such as washing powder, dishwasher tablets and kitchen utensils needed for a comfy family stay. Hope to be able to stay again!

Had a wonderful two days at Apollo Bay, house is fabulous all you could need and a great location. only slight negative needs a new stair gate, apart from that everything was fine and we would stay again.

All the comforts of home

Wonderful water views. Anchorage had all we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. A short walk to off lead dog beach which our fur baby loved. Close to shops and Great Ocean Road. Our week was enjoyed by all.

Fabulous house & location

What a fabulous house, in a superb location. Well equipped - baby gates provided for the stairs, kitchen was well outfitted with good quality crockery & cookwear; super comfortable lounges and beds. Everything was provided and well thought out. We had a couple and a few singles, and toddler. The house was more than big enough for everyone. The dogs seriously enjoyed their stay as well, the house was very pet friendly. Dogs allowed (and welcome) inside, but there is a very safe dog run and the garage was dog friendly too. We brought our own dog beds, but there was a spare in the garage if required. No need for a car once you're there, we walked everywhere. 5 mins walk to town, pier, apollo bay foreshore, golf club, 1 minute walk to the surf beach which was dog friendly. 10 minute walk to the northern end of Marengo beach. You're far enough away from town that the tour buses won't bother you, but close enough to meander in for a coffee.

Brilliant location

Across the road to the beach. Close to the golf course. A short pleasant stroll to the town centre and great views across to Marengo beach. The house is well appointed. They have thought of everything and it was clean as a whistle. Great for 2 families with kids of any age. We will be back.
