Sutherland stuga - vingård semester

Sutherland Cottage är en av fem stugor vid Glen Ayr Cottages, beläget i hjärtat av vingårdarna i Pokolbin, fem minuters bilresa från Hunter Gardens, konserter och många vingårdar. Sutherland är en bekväm två sovrum stuga med en queen size-säng och två enkelsängar; sovrummen har eget badrum. Den har ett stort vardagsrum och kök med öppen spis och luftkonditionering. Köket är fullt utrustat, och allt linne tillhandahålls.

Sutherland stuga är en timme och fyrtiofem minuters bilresa från början av motorväg M1 (Pacific Highway) vid Wahroonga, och en timme från Newcastle centrum. Trots att det ligger inom fem minuters bilresa från många stora vingårdar är det lugnt och avskilt. Den har utsikt över närliggande Audrey Wilkinsons vingård från sin veranda. Närliggande attraktioner inkluderar vinprovning, fina restauranger, gallerier, ridning, luftballong, bushwalking, golf och himmeldykning.

Det finns också ett stort utbud av fåglar och andra vilda djur i omgivningen, inklusive känguruer och frillhalsiga ödlor; Känguruer gräver ofta framför stugan.

Sutherland är bekvämt och rent.

Stunningly secluded

If you're looking for a quiet and cosy place to stay in the Hunter, the Glen Ayr cottages are perfect! Sutherland cottage has a beautiful view, amenities were clean and comfortable and it truly felt like home away from home. Will most definitely be coming back. Thanks to Bill for his hospitality.

Cute, tranquil cottage set in bushland. 15 minutes from everything but feels completely away from the rat race. William made the whole process easy, he was a joy to work with. Would love to come back and stay long longer

Great Location and Wonderful Cabin

My wife and I stayed at the Sutherland Cottage for 2 nights. William made check-in easy and made sure there was plenty of firewood and a fire ready to go. We loved sitting on the verandah with a cuppa or having breakfast in the sun watching the birds and overlooking the Audrey Wilkinson vineyard next door. The cabin was secluded from others on the property and close to restaurants and wineries. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, simple, no fuss

We reserved this cottage for a night to attend a wedding in Hunter Valley and found the cottage minimal but clean and easy to check-in and use as a base for getting ready. We appreciated the tea and coffee available. Would also be a cozy destination in colder months with the fireplace.

Glen Ayr Cottages Pokolbin

We loved our time in Pokolbin. Our host even had the fire all ready for us just to light and had supplied tea and coffee and milk. For me it's the little things I appreciate. We enjoyed our cuppas on the verandah and the quietness of the place and watching the footy on the tele in front of the fire. We will definitely stay there again.

Brilliant Communication with Manager ..Directions txted best ever .

Hand written welcome note left on the table really nice touch ! We didn't need it but for next time ,the prepared open Fireplace and wood and Kindling provided makes us want to come back and enjoy a game of cards at the end of the day !!?? Only there from 2 pm .shuttle bus to Hope Estate was at 3.15 ..back at 11.30 after concert and in a wonderfully comfortable bed at 12.15..But 2 ensuites and a Beautifull outlook ..so quiet ..AND Kangaroos !!! WE WILL BE BACK !!! It was just what we needed Will reckomend to all our friends and I will give the place a HUGE Rap on my National Radio Show !! Luke Bona Triple M

Tranquil setting

Great location. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and private. Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Although we didn’t need it, open fire place was ready to go. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Good location in a quiet place

Good cottage, private, good view and has everything you need. But we did not sleep well at night. The fly screen door at the front door is broken. It is not able to close properly. The door has been blown by the wind the whole night making pretty bad noises.

The property was really sweet and just perfect for our stay. The serenity was beautiful.
