Great Location

We have stayed here previously & certainly would like to again. Suzanne is very quick to respond to queries & provides a very clean, comfortable family holiday home in a quiet neighbourhood . Large entertaining deck area with inbuilt sink/benches & big BBQ & TV - an inviting space. All this on an extra big block with trees & shrubs which encourages the bird life. Our dog had a great time here & at the beach. There are many places of interest close by. A short walk to local beach & longer walks were enjoyed each day.

Restful and comfortable

The house was wonderful for our Easter stay and we came home feeling relaxed and calm. The wood burners were a treat during some pretty awful weather. There was plenty of room to find our own quiet space and our dog got over her fear of waves being so close to the beach. The house is clearly a family treasure and I especially loved how different eras were represented through the fixtures and decoration. Great value and easy to give five stars.

Excellent access

The fully fenced property is great for those taking there 4 legged friends. You will have to keep an eye on them as the rear fence though covered in shrubs.is only a couple of feet high if that. My 3 GSDs had a ball running around the grounds of the property with the soft sandy soil, they looked so happy. The 2 gates made it a breeze driving in and out with our 6 berth dog trailer. we could park up near the house keep an eye and ear on the dogs. Very close to the water but with a full schedule we could not take advantage of it this time. Outside shower for rinsing off after the beach was a nice touch if you visit the beach. BBQ area was also great.

Delightful Area.

Adults, children & dog all enjoyed the extra large block surrounded by shrubs, trees, birdlife. Large lounge/dining area, lots of supplies in the kitchen, terrific covered outdoor entertaining area, new BBQ. For us, the best part was how close to the clean beach we were. We were thrilled to see local dolphins. Thank you to the owners for a very enjoyable stay.

Sensational Somers Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is well situated, well appointed & so well equipped. We just loved the outdoor covered deck with comfy couches, chimnea & the sound of the ocean nearby it was the perfect place to cosy up & finish a couple of novels. We also loved the TV hard drive full of so many amazing movie choices. Suzanne was easy to communicate with and the house easy to clean & maintain. We are certainly planning to return with our crew ASAP.

Great location, fabulous family beach house

Really enjoyed our stay at Kirkmichael over Christmas. Ticked all the boxes for us for our short stay to be with family. Great outdoor living areas, well decked out for relaxing and best location for beach access. Suzanne provided great information and was very accommodating with all our requests.

Such a beautiful house in a beautiful suburb. The owners are wonderful to deal with.

Our experience as a family was fantastic. The owners were fantastic with communication and the house was the perfect size for our family but also can accomodate larger bookings. We will be booking again when we go down as a family!!

Another fabulous week in Somers

This property is ideally suited for a relaxed holiday at the beach. It has a great outdoor area for those hot times and the facilities are great for relaxing, eating and entertaining visitors. The best bit is that it is a very short walk to the beach where we were again entertained by the local dolphins

Perfect for a get away!

We loved this property. Very comfortable and so well equipped. Very homely feel and so well maintained. Loads of space indoors and outdoors and its in such a great position to wander down to the beach for walks- it was fabulous to see dolphins quite close to the shore. We really enjoyed the quietness and relaxing feel of Somers but shops and restaurants just a short drive to Balnarring. One of the best escapes we've had for ages, couldn't fault the property and the owner was extremely helpful. Wally our Labrador loved it too! Definitely be back!

Fabulous beach property

This property is excellent for a relaxing holiday no matter what the weather is like. Great undercover outdoor area and expansive front yard. So close to the beach you can dash down every hour for a dip or to watch the dolphins. Looking forward to our next stay there

Fantastic property and great value

My family just got back from our fishing trip to Port Phillip bay and we stayed at this lovely house in Somers. The house was amazing and so roomy and the owners were lovely and extreme helpful when we had issues getting the tv to work. Highly recommend this great house and we look forward to returning again maybe next year

Welcoming Winter Stay

I was working for a few weeks nearby and this was superb. In budget, quiet evenings, full the good things like fireplaces inside and out, a selection of good movies, good kitchen stocked with lots of cooking stuff and condiments and overall an easy stay. I ended up booking a weekend with the family when the work finished and we loved it! Lots to do in the area and couldn't fault it. Very sad when it was time to leave. I'd love to see this in summer! As Arnie says, I'll be back! Thanks so very much!

If you are looking for a property that you can relax and enjoy this is the house for you! This property has 2 large sliding vehicle gates and 1 pedestrian gate, perfect for multiple cars, boats or trailers.
It is large double block is fully fenced with so the kids and or dogs can run, play and enjoy while being safe.
The house is very practical so there is no worry about the kids breaking anything. There are books, games, table tennis and toy box perfect for family time!
