The house was perfect, beautiful garden. It had everything that we needed. It was so nice to bring our dog along too who enjoyed many walks along the beach.

This house was just lovely. One of the best stocked kitchens and pantrys, and thats so helpful when travelling. The host was prompt with all communications. The 9 and 14 yr old both loved the area...

We enjoyed our stay at the Somers Holiday House. The indigenous garden is beautiful and the location is very handy.

Welcoming home away from home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was welcoming, neighbourhood lovely and quiet, close to amenities but with a lovely small village feel.

Absolute gem!

We had a fantastic stay at Somers Holiday House. The place is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a great outdoor area and very close to Somers Beach. Perfect for our group of six to enjoy a summer getaway.

Fabulous for relaxing outside!

We really enjoyed staying here with some friends for a relaxing weekend. Multiple spots for relaxing outside, fab gardens and well equipped house. Highly recommend!

Spacious relaxing beach getaway

We had a wonderful weekend away staying here! We came with my parents and 18 month old, and had plenty of room to spread out and particularly enjoyed the Australian bush feel in the backyard amongst the gum trees! We had a seamless check in and great communication from the owner. Would highly recommend!

Relaxed retro beach house

Lovely clean retro beach house in quiet street, great outdoor living spaces, close to walking tracks and beach access. Somers General Store just down the road offering coffee and tasty brunches. Appreciated extras such as an iron, well set up kitchen to cook in and 1970’s decor

Weekend with Nature

Although the weather was wet & cold, we enjoyed a last minute booking providing us with a much needed break in this well appointed clean, comfortable house surrounded by lovely native gardens. Not far to beach meant our dog also had fun & good exercise on our walks. Excellent Tasty breakfast enjoyed at the Somers General Store. Thankyou for the extras Barry. We hope to visit again.

Enjoyed our stay

This was a great place to spend a couple of days- thank you Barry. We loved the back yard especially and playing boules. A couple of maintenance items- The shower did tend to go everywhere but it wasn't a big deal. The dishwasher top rack was also broken.

Relaxing beach holiday

We enjoyed a lovely holiday break. Easy walk to all the lovey beach spots and walk trails. Plenty of wildlife to observe. The house was comfy and relaxing, although when we opened BBQ ready to cook it was very dirty and no gas in the bottle. Balmarrring had run out of replacement gas bottles so very disappointing . The dishwasher seal was broken and a wheel missing from the top tray. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

Pleasurable two week stay in this well equipped accommodation- even extra supplies in the pantry. Short walk to beach and general store and great fenced garden for dogs ( and adults) to enjoy. Great walks to enjoy around Somers too. We didn’t really need to contact Barry during our stay but information provided before and after our arrival and stay was excellent.

Perfect Getaway

Fantastic place for a winter break. We loved the property; the native garden and trees; the beautiful birds and the proximity to the General Store Cafe and beautiful Somers beach. There are many walks to take and nearby beaches to visit. We enjoyed lunch at the Green Olive Winery and a Traditional pub meal at Balnarring. Barry was a great host and the house is clean and has everything you need to rest and relax. We would love to come back one day!

Comfy house

We had a good stay at this holiday house. Everything we needed was there (except wifi - my own fault as I should have checked before I booked). Beds really comfortable and all bedrooms with heaters which was appreciated as it was a cold weekend. The back door doesn't lock well and needs to be fixed, but everything else was ok. We were lazy and drove to the beach but it is possible to walk there if you want to, maybe a 15 minute walk to the dog beach? Would go again.
