Denna 3 sovrum fiskarstuga sover sex och ligger bara några minuters promenad till det lugna vattnet i Patonga Beach och Patonga Creek och gångavstånd till det berömda Boathouse Hotel Patonga www. theboathousehotelpatonga. com. au

Sitt ute på det stora däcket med ett glas vin eller en öl och koppla av med en bra bok. Koka en BBQ eller slå din hand till att skapa en pizza mästerverk eller två i det välutrustade köket. Pizzaugnen på däcken är tillräckligt stor för att laga 3 familjeformade pizzor på en gång. Vill inte laga mat, då serverar The Boathouse Hotel Patonga en fantastisk måltid och ligger i slutet av gatan på 6-8 Patonga Drive. Fish and chips eller kaffe och kaka kan också beställas att ta bort. Shoppinghuset Umina ligger 15 minuters bilresa efter leveranser och inkluderar en Aldi, Coles och Woolworths, bra kaféer och butiker för dina andra semesterbehov.

Gå kajakpaddling eller paddla-boarding på Creek eller kasta in en linje och fånga en fisk eller två. Simma i det klara vattnet stranden eller satsning över Creek för att utforska kusten på andra sidan. Ta med egna cyklar eller åka runt de stora gatorna i denna lilla fiskeby med endast 220 hus.

Det finns ett antal bushvandringar men förmodligen det bästa är att Pearl Beach genom Brisbane Water National Park. Hitta promenad på den norra delen av Patonga Beach. Följ skyltarna i nationalparken upp och över kullen till spektakulära Warrah utsiktsplats med utsikt över Hawkesbury River och Stilla havet. Sedan gå längs brand spår, efter tecken till Pearl Beach. Var noga med att hålla utkik efter bush kalkoner och ett öra öppet för kookaburras. Glöm inte att bära god walking skor och ta massor av vatten och ett mellanmål.

Väluppfostrade husdjur är välkomna. Detta innebär hundar som inte skäller okontrollerat när de lämnas ensamma och är helt toalett utbildas. Husdjur är inte att sova på sängar eller lounger så kom ihåg att ta med sina sängkläder.

Patonga är en 90 minuters bilresa norrut från Sydney. Kör till Patonga eller kör till Palm Beach och kom till Patonga med färja. Färja bryggan hamnar bara över från puben som är en bikupa med aktivitet för besökare och pelikaner. Färjan lämnar och återvänder till Palm Beach minst två gånger om dagen.

Quiet weekend away

Communication and check in was a breeze with Michelle. The property is beautiful and spacious, but comfortable and cozy. For us it was a great opportunity to sit, chat and catch up over some wine while listening to a winter storm rage outside. Will definitely book again.

We felt at home here, with everything we needed being provided, and the property is safely enclosed and pet friendly.The pizza oven was the star in the evenings - very easy to use and clean. We will be back. :)

Just like home!

We were so happy to have chosen Michelle’s beach house for our long weekend getaway- it had everything we could have wanted: ample dishes/cookware, quality linens, and we really appreciated the beach towels as the kids were in and out of the water all day. The house is so cosy and beautifully decorated, it felt like staying in a friend’s home rather than just a rental. The back deck overlooking the abundance of trees and plants was perfect for playing board games and enjoying the wood fired pizza. Michelle provided a comprehensive guide prior to our arrival, and was kind enough to let us know early check in was available on the day. Highly recommend this lovely property!

Absolute gem

Well appointed cottage, spotlessly clean and conveniently located to beach and local amenities.Our family thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Everything was well supplied and every last detail thought of down to children’s beach toys. The Hosts were very easy to deal with and more than obliging. Highly recommended.

Perfect Beach Holiday!

We came back for the second year in a row to Michelle's cottage as it is literally the perfect beach shack - clean, big enough for a family of four plus puppy, equipped with everything you might need during a holiday (I ended up having to put together a pavlova and I've even found a mixer to whip-up the cream!!), amazing backyard and ideal location - quiet but very close to pub and beach.We will be coming back for sure!

Fabulous house

The beach house at Patonga was a wonderful house. It is beautifully renovated with everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable. There is a great, large covered outdoor area with a range of comfortable furniture where we lived for the week - very relaxing. A great location - one block to the dog beach and two blocks from a great pub. The yard was secure which was great for my dog and I got the artist down the road to paint a portrait of my dog which was a fun experience and the portrait is very like her. We had a wonderful week thanks to our lovely hosts.

A Very Family friendly home

Our family had a great time. Location is very close to the beach and the house has all the kids need to be entertained. Will definitely recommend this place and would love to book this place again in the future getaway.

Perfect Beach Shack Getaway - We wish we could have linga'd longa in Patonga

Our stay at Michelle's house in Patonga was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this little beach shack. Firstly, the location couldn't have been better. Tucked away in the serene beauty of Patonga, it offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life with just what you need at your fingertips - cafe, pub, beach. The accommodation itself exceeded our expectations in every way. The interior was cosy and inviting, with tasteful decor that perfectly complimented the beachy outdoors ambience. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep each evening. The kitchen was a delight to cook in, equipped with all the necessary amenities and utensils. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the appliances to the thoughtful touches and extra condiments and well stocked drawers. Dining al fresco on the outdoor deck was a highlight, offering a private and delightful back yard while enjoying our meals and turning our hand to the pizza oven that produced deliciously yummy pizza's. Communication with the host was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to any queries we had, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their local recommendations were spot-on, guiding us to hidden gems in the area that we otherwise might have missed. Thank you to the host for providing such a wonderful getaway experience.

Living and growing up in Sydney has given me a unique appreciation of city living. It's also made me realise that sometimes you just need to escape from the hassle and bustle to somewhere where you can just hear the birds singing and the waves lapping. Patonga is just that place for me and my family. With only 220 homes, we are happy to share this small piece of paradise with family, friends and our guests.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My husband, daughter and I fell in love with Patonga about fifteen years ago. My dad has been fishing there for over 35 years and has always raved about it. So 10 years ago we decided to buy a cottage where we could get away from Sydney on the weekends. We've taken years to renovate it with the help of family and friends and are very happy with the results. The decor is distinctly beachy with a comfortable light and airy feel.

An outdoor BBQ and two decks and a fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies like pepper, salt, tomato sauce, oil, vinegar, glad wrap, foil, hand towel, etc. means that you can cook at home or stroll up to the Boat House Hotel for a fantastic meal or just coffee and cake.

There's also fishing rods for you and the kids to keep you busy at either the beach or the creek.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our beach house boasts a fantastic deck and pizza oven which is probably the highlight of every holiday we spend there. Our family and friends always insist on pizza which gets everyone involved in the preparation, cooking and of course eating. Patonga is amazingly beautiful and being only 90 mins from Sydney, it is completely doable for a relaxing weekend or a longer stay.
