Southern Beaches Holiday House + wifi och hundar välkomna

Välkomnande strandhus med fantastisk utsikt för att njuta av solnedgången på däck medan du tittar över Frederick Henry Bay till Mount Wellington. Inom en 5 minuters promenad till två stränder (en surfa strand och en skyddad strand bra för att leka i sanden), ligger också inte långt från ingången till hunden promenader stranden. Nyligen renoverat med expansiva däck, bekväma sovrum och gott om bostadsyta.

Njut av utsikten genom bifoldens köksfönster på ett bra underhållande område. Flera upphöjda däck, bra aspekt för att titta på solnedgången över havet. Utomhus undercover bbq område. Ett bra ställe att göra en bas medan du njuter av några av de lokala stränderna eller tar dagsutflykter till närliggande måste se sevärdheter och aktiviteter.
Tre sovrum bestående av 2 x queen sängar med madrasser över kuddar och 2 x enkelsängar. Sovrummet har eget badrum och går genom klädsel.
Fastigheten är hundvänlig men är inte helt inhägnad än. Gott om plats på baksidan av fastigheten för barn / hundar att utforska.
Du bokar hela huset. Landskapsarkitektur är ett pågående projekt och det kan finnas vissa utomhusområden som fortfarande är under uppbyggnad. Det finns gott om bra utomhus områden men även en stor asfalterad platt yta (perfekt för barn cyklar / skateboards), undercover bbq uteplats och två stora däck.
Det finns ett stort område med ljus buske på baksidan av fastigheten som är inhägnad på tre sidor.

Dodges Ferry är en liten strandby appx 15minutes från den större staden Sorell. Det är platsen som gör det till en utmärkt bas för att utforska södra östra Tasmanien och inom en timmes sevärdheter som MONA, Port Arthur och Maria Island Ferry. Bara 22 minuter från Hobart Airport, en timme från Port Arthur och cirka 35-40 minuter till Hobart och en timme till Orford, har du gott om alternativ för dagsutflykter. Om du föredrar att spendera dina dagar på stranden har du ett val av stränder med surf, hundvandringsalternativ eller skyddade små stränder. Det finns en välutrustad IGA, bageri, apotek, slaktare, flaskaffär, ta bort och en frisör bara några minuters bilresa från fastigheten. I närheten finns också en båt ramp och en stor lekplats.

Ett fordon behövs för att stanna här. Det finns en del kollektivtrafik men det är begränsat.

Perfection

This is not just a stay. It's an experience. Every detail has been considered and every need, provided for. The design of the interior is so much fun and you can tell whomever did the decor really gave each piece some thought...nothing is half cooked here. You can feel the hospitality of the hosts through touches like biscuits for tea time, luxurious high quality linens on every bed and in the bathrooms (you ARE a VIP!!) and that delicious outdoor bath overlooking the most incredible views(sunset and the Aurora!!). It's a treasure!! ...we are happy to be Tassie residents and we will be back for a longer stay.

Short but very sweet stay

Beautiful location, wonderful views and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We were only available to stay one night but it would be wonderful for an extended stay - everything you could need including marshmallows for your hot chocolate! Thank you - we would stay again!

A perfect house in a perfect position

This was a home away from home with everything you could possibly need. A perfect place to relax or to get out and walk to the nearby beaches which we did. Walking distance to two great places to eat out and, having coeliac disease, Beach Bums has a brilliant gluten free menu. We loved the roomy well appointed house and our dogs loved the secure backyard. The host was prompt in responding to messages and making our stay perfect. We will be returning for a longer stay.

Great Beach Vibe and Views

Accommodation well resourced, comfortable with all you may need catered for. Short walk to the beach and cafe as well as short distance to shops and tavern. Fabulous views from the deck. Jen was great to deal with…very informative, accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks so much Jen 😄

Dream stay

The Sandy sister is a must for those who are looking for an outstanding property to stay as a group or couple. The location is just a short drive from Hobart and could easily be used for a much needed reprieve or as a base to explore the surrounding area. The hosts have outdone themselves providing everything you could need for either a short or extended stay. Beds are super comfy and the entire place is spotlessly clean. The host communication and directions for the property were very easy to understand. We simply loved staying here!

Beautiful space

Beautiful views, comfy beds, light filled and spacious property. It was walking distance to swimming and surf beaches, cafe and shops. Outdoor bath/shower was lovely. Thank you!! We loved it!!

Amazing House in Amazing Location

This is a fabulous property. Our only disappointment was that we weren’t staying for longer!! Long afternoon walk on the beach - amazing sunset - fabulous entertaining spaces with insane views. The owners were quick to respond to every question. The house was immaculate and so very cosy and we all fell in love with the bed linen.. We will definitely be back. LOVED IT!!

Short but sweet

Perfect house with everything we needed to be comfortable plus a truly stunning view. The only thing (minor inconvenience) that could have made it any better would have been a fenced area for either dogs or small children. But we were just grateful our little dog was welcome to come with us. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back if you’ll have us. Michelle and family

I thought the property was good. I have given a 4 star check in only for the reason that my wife fell over with suitcase at the very first step, fortunately only injury to her pride. I felt this entirely due to poor lighting of the entry. The guiding 'fairy lights' were inoperative, but if they were on they wouldn't have helped. The light outside was on, but that cast too many shadows to help also. Both of the ladies were extremely bothered about the screen door being the only security defence in case of some unknown intruder, there was none, but both women were alarmed. I would suggest that the toilet paper quality could be improved, but that is only reflecting the care that the owner wishes to portray. Jenny was very helpful to us with prompt replies when issues arose. The only time we had any issues were to inform Jenny about the condition of the Western facing window blinds, but Jenny knew about that damage and was in the process of having repairs. My bedside light had the lamp missing, but not a real issue and I guess Jenny will address that when she finds it. Overall our stay was very satisfactory.

Fantastic dog friendly stay

Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

A comfortable, relaxing property and neighbourhood. Great dog walking beach down the road. Our old dog felt like a puppy again splashing in the sea. The house had everything we needed with a good IGA down the road. No need to go anywhere else. We will be back soon.

Southern Beaches Holiday House

Nicely appointed, very clean. Is a nice 'base' property for families with kids who are spending time in the area and going out every day to see Tasmania. Seems a great property to hang out after a full day of sight-seeing, with plenty games and books for kids and TV with full range of channels. The only suggestion I have is only for people with an older dog who may not be getting around as well is to be mindful, there are steps to negotiate outside. There was plenty of space inside to set up my two crates for my dogs and they seemed comfortable. Jen was friendly and helpful. Thank you.
