Om boendet

Vår lägenhet har två sovrum, sovrummet har king size-säng, det andra sovrummet har queen size-säng. I vardagsrummet har vi väldigt fin sovsofa, vi kan också placera vikbar enkelsäng i vardagsrummet om det behövs. Lägenheten och hela byggnaden renoverades nyligen. Denna lägenhet ligger på första våningen. Vi har privat parkering utanför / under byggnaden.

Om du planerar att ta turer är busshållplats nummer 8 tvärs över gatan bredvid kyrkan Hallgrimskirkja.

Vår lägenhet ligger precis framför en av de mest populära sevärdheter Reykjavik, kyrkan Hallgrimskirkja. Einar Jónsson skulpturmuseum är också bara några meter bort. Skólavörðustígur ligger precis runt hörnet, där finns en liten mataffär med namnet Krambúðin och öppet dygnet runt, Boutiqueaffärer, restauranger och barer. När du går ner Skolavordustigur för liknande 5-600 meter så är du på vår Main Street Laugavegur. Så allt som Reykjavik har att erbjuda ligger på gångavstånd från vår lägenhet.

Perfect location in Downtown Reykjavík

My friend Bill and I loved our stay at the flat in Reykjavik. The location was fabulous, check in/out was super easy, and it had all the amenities (parking, laundry, etc.) to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend and would also stay again!

Family Trip

Thank you for a lovely weekend in Reykjavik! The location was perfect for walking through the city. We also appreciated the easy parking. The apartment was perfect for our small group - we had everything we needed!

Wonderful Location

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was really convenient for walking to downtown restaurants and shops. There is a cafe on the corner and multiple grocery stores in walking distance. We traveled with friends, and each family stayed at an apartment here, so that we ultimately had the building to ourselves. It was perfect for our group!

Great apartment in the heart of Reykjavík

We enjoyed staying at Thorsgata. Ideal location across the street from Hallgrimskirkja. Walkable to many cafes, restaurants, and shops. Accurate description. Well appointed, clean, and spacious apartment. On-site parking was very helpful. On-site laundry facilities. Great communication with the host with clear instructions and local recommendations. Highly recommended for your Reykjavík visit!

Best Place to Stay in Reykjavik

Ideal neighborhood close to city center and tourist area. The place was sparkling clean upon our arrival. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Kitchen well provisioned even with extras like coffee which is always appreciated. Only different thing was the cleaning fee did not include the kitchen. That's a first. It was such a great place we rolled up our sleeves and cleaned it before we left. We hope to stay here again.

Iceland trip

Over all excellent trip. Amazing location in front of the church. Everything was walking distance. Parking was a blessing. I wish there would be a better temperature control as apartment was extremely warm, despite opening the small windows. I wish we could have better communication with the manager. It’s supposed to have six beds but one of our daughter has to sleep on the sofa. Washer and dryer on the first floor was a plus. I would still give 4 star to the apartment.

Perfect flat in the perfect location!

We loved this flat and will definitely try to stay there whenever we are in Reykjavik. The communication with the property manager could have been better, but once we were there everything was perfect. The location is ideal for exploring Reykjavik. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Great location in downtown Reykjavik

We spent the 2nd half of our trip to Iceland at this apartment. It was the perfect spot for us to be able to walk around downtown Reykjavik, and also do a day trip to some sites along the south coast. The instructions and communication from the owner were perfect. Thanks for helping make our family trip to Iceland a memorable one!

Great stay in the heart of the city

It was a beautiful property. Super clean and perfect for a family. Location was very convenient for driving and walking around. Kjartan was one of the best host from all my stays. He was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate.

You have to stay here!

This property is amazing. It is centrally located. Has everything you need. If you plan on taking tours, bus stop is right there and you can walk to almost everything you need to in Reykjavik. Kjartan was great!

Beautiful Apartment in A Fantastic Location

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. As previous visitors have noted, it was conveniently located near Bus Stop #8, not to mention right around the corner from a small convenience store (open 24/7), wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars. Kjartan was easy to reach and very helpful with information upon our arrival. We weren't crazy about the bathroom (the shower lacked a full enclosure and was a bit precarious to get in and out of), but it wasn't too bad. We also weren't provided with much in the way of toilet paper or paper towels, so needed to get more of those, as well as find extra linens (towels and pillows) in the hallway closet. On the whole, though, it was a great apartment.

the absolute PERFECT location and apartment

we knew this place looked amazing from the pictures but seeing in person was even better. Not only is it modern and clean and beautifully decorated, but this location cannot be beat! Absolutely everything is walkable and having the church across the street is a great first way to experience the city when you get in AND serves as the perfect marker to find your way around easily. The kitchen was full with everything you could need to cook some dinners, the beds were cozy, the windows are big and bright, the bathroom is lovely and the laundry area is very convenient. The host was great to work with and extremely accommodating for us when we arrived several hours earlier than check in. He even woke up early on his Saturday to let us in which was a game changer when you're traveling with littles and adjusting to the time change. We highly recommend staying here!
