Space of relaxation

Very pretty, very cozy, had everything we needed was nice and warm fire place already lit as we walked in,, lots of places to eat and a lots of kitchen tools plan on trying out the summer great view of the frozen lake we didn’t try but we watched family’s play on the lake very beautiful the whole experience

Girls Trip 2024

The property was beautiful, sitting right Lake Carobeth. Within the first 20 minutes we were greeted by a friendly deer! The house was very clean and comfortably slept 5, each having our own queen bed and 2 bathrooms was a great plus.

Relaxing lake cabin

A great place to stay for a quiet lakefront getaway! The host was very responsive and had many kayaks right there for use. Beautiful dock for fishing as well!

Perfect weekend

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! There was plenty of space for everyone, and we loved the boats for exploring the lake. The fireplace added a cozy touch to our evenings. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

All we were looking for

The location great The only thing was there was a slight no lived in Oder we picked up some candles and even though it had said it had linens it had no top sheets . The house it self was clean and everything worked perfectly.

Perfect getaway

I cannot recommend this house enough. My family and I had an excellent stay here, and plan on returning. The owner was terrific, kind, and very responsive and detailed. The lake was perfect for backyard fishing and just relaxing with beautiful views. The home was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed many game nights! There was alot to enjoy around the area (mini golf, shopping, restaurants, zoo). Highly recommend this home!

Water vacation fun

Not much to look at from the outside, but clean and updated on the inside. Right on the lake with many boats,and kyaks. Fishing was fun and the community pool is nice. The shed is full of life jackets, paddles, bicycles, water guns. There are board games in the house. There is no way to be bored here. Sitting around the fire pit at night roasting Marshmallows with the family was great.

Great location. House was great. Having a house on the lake was absolutely perfect. We used the paddle boat and kayaks everyday. Highlight was seeing the family of otters living on the property.

Great Vacation Spot!

Paulina was the best host I’ve had! She was very welcoming and caring enough to make sure our trip was a great one. She gave detailed check in instructions as well as a nice list of close amenities and stores to ensure we were familiar with the area during our trip! Will be booking again soon!

Lake getaway

We had an amazing week at this lake home. The house was very clean and cozy. The outside set up and all of the water toys were absolutely perfect. Lots of wild life and the lake was beautiful. Paulina was a wonderful host and we hope to stay at her place again. Highly recommended!

Very Pleasant Lake House

We went for a short 4 day trip and had a very enjoyable time. We were fortunate to have nice weather and was able to enjoy the activities on the lake including kayaking, fishing, row boats and paddle boats. House was clean and comfortable for 5 adults and 2 children. Great communications with Paulina, the owner. Kids enjoyed the community pool ( which got a bit pricey this year --$12 each per day for anyone over 2). However, I would certainly recommend staying here.

Ready to return !

Our family has been vacationing in the Poconos for a long time.We stayed in the Big Bass Lake community at the same location for years. Unfortunately that place is no longer available. for the past 3 years we tried 3 different rentals & were dissatisfied. Then we tried here. Bingo !.We had a terrific time & will be returning. On the down side The weather was on the chilly side,(58) the thermostats were locked,the fire place was off,so no heat. Yes we could have called the homeowner part we were all fine. Thank you again.See you next year.

Thanksgiving holiday

We spent a fun thanksgiving break at this lovely lake house. Even though it was November we still kayaked every day! The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The owners were very responsive to my many questions. I have rented other houses before so I am familiar with what you need to bring if you plan on cooking but in case you are a new renter please be aware you need to bring everything you need to cook including salt, pepper, plastic wrap, napkins, and plastic containers.

Wonderful place to stay!

Very clean property. The open floor plan is great. Some played games at the table while others watched a movie but we could still interact. But that was only when it rained or was dark out. Mostly, we all enjoyed the various boats and fishing. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Plenty of life vests, bikes, and even a few helmets and we saw inflatables in the shed but didn't use any. Saw bald eagle, heron, ducks, geese and tons of deer! Only suggestion would be some covered space outdoors so could sit out in light rain. (Trees and house do provide some shaded seating though)

Even better than expected

Paulina was a perfect host - very friendly, clear and quick communication. The house was super clean, beds were very comfortable, and there were so many water activities (kayaks, boats, etc.). It’s great that there are no loud motor boats - lake was peaceful and perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. My kids caught lots of pike, bass and sunfish while boating/kayaking. Some were pretty big! I was worried about there not being central air, but the two AC units did a great job of keeping the house cool - I had to turn them down because it got too cold! And there are ceiling fans, too. We grilled at the house, had campfires at night, did a couple of outings to local restaurants, did a zip line at Camelback, and an escape room. There are a lot of activities nearby. And though there are many homes and people in the area, everyone had to go through a gated area to get in, so we felt safe the whole time. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Paulina!

Our Little Beaver Reunion

We are 3 friends who met in college, now in out 70's who like to find a 3-bedroom retreat every summer to renew our friendship and have some fun. We loved Little Beaver! It had everything we needed (well, almost--the kitchen needs a cutting board). We chose this property largely because of its short walk to the lake from the back door. We made daily use of the kayaks, along with the paddleboat, and spent lovely early mornings on the dock enjoying the ducks and the quiet lake. The dock even had steps right down to the lake, where I launched my own dinghy without even getting my feet wet. There is also a convenient and neat gravel lined boat lauch for the kayaks, paddleboat and rowboat, In our kayak travels up and down the lake, we decided that "our" boat lauch and dock were the best on the lake! One shortcoming: the pictures on the website did not include the first floor bedroom, the 2nd floor bath, or a good view of the back of the house where the deck is. We took our chances anyway and were pleasantly surprised. The deck is large with table and chairs on one side and a seating are on the other. We spent much of our time there when not on the water. We also enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit at night. And the beds were very comfortable!
