We had a wonderful trip to Deep Creek. The unit was clean and as advertised and fit our needs. We were please that the unit was well stocked with all items needed for family meals. We will certainly consider this unit again in the future.

Mice and horrible customer service

I wish I would have done more research on the rental company before renting. We rented Tips UP for a 3-night stay. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Do not rent from this company unless you are looking for unsanitary conditions, horrible customer service, and disappointment. We arrived late in the evening upon arrival we found mouse droppings all through the house, on the bed, dining room table, cabinets, bathroom, carpets..everywhere! It was disgusting! How could this house have been cleaned prior to arrival if there were droppings everywhere?? Dead bugs in the showers as well. We contacted the management first thing in the morning and was told "well we do have a mouse here and there" basically they acted as if nothing was wrong. They agreed to send the cleaners back and put out traps. I'm sorry, Did I pay this much money to have mouse droppings and then get rid of a dead mouse from a trap?!!! I asked if they could move us and was told that all houses were booked. Cleaners came back, cleaned up the droppings then the maintenance man arrived with several snap traps. I asked who was going to dispose of the mice and we were told we would have to! He went back out and instead brought back box traps. We dealt with that and then had to deal with our neighbors have a house party for 24 hours with blaring music and yelling outside all night. We called to complain and she basically laughed at us and said she would she if they would turn down the music. The next night they moved their party to outside so we could hear the loud music and yelling even better. Horrible experience, Horrible customer service. I would never, come back here. 1

Enjoyed our stay at this house

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The place is very clean and has everything we needed to keep our party entertained. We'd love to stay here in the winter since it's right next to the ski lift. :) Definitely will rent again. Thank you!

TIPS UP - 2018

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful unit, nicely located and equipped . The only down side was Mother Nature brought rain mid-week , so the skiing suffered. Hopefully 2019 will be more weather accommodating.

Ski Weekend

The proximity to the lifts was great since not everyone in our group could do the blacks closest to the house. My only complaint would be the lack of pots and pans. It was a slight challenge to feed a group of 10 with what was available (especially our spaghetti night).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really enjoyed my stay here at Tips Up. The home was beautiful and very comfortable. It was stocked with all the necessities to cook and prepare meals for our family. My only critique would be to have larger televisions within the house and bedrooms. The living area tv was in black and white and put a slight damper on Thanksgiving day football. Other than that, overall we all enjoyed our stay here.
