Cozy cabin

Mountain Getaway

We had a great getaway to Crestline. Everything was just as advertised, clean, cozy cabin. Very well appointed with things you need to cook your meals. The coffee was good. the heaters worked well to keep temp comfortable. The outside area is fenced so we were comfortable letting the dog out. We hiked around Lake Gregory and up to Heart Rock. would recommend it!

Great little hideaway

This was a great little cabin to stay at; a nice little escape from the city. Everything clean and so thoughtfully organized. It was a great stay and would definitely consider staying again.

Cute & cozy stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s equipped with everything you might need or want. The owner and property manager were very communicative and responsive to any concerns.I was pleasantly surprised that there were some local businesses about a block away, which was very convenient.

Just Like Home

The property was very cozy and warm (just like the picture). It snowed the second night of our stay. It was absolutely beautiful watching the snowfall from the cabin's top balcony. It had all the amenities of home (bottled water, kitchen stocked with all items a chef - like me - would have). We can't wait to return during the Summer. So, we can walk the trails and see the neighborhood more. We will definitely visit again very soon.

AWESOME COZY CABIN!

Found this gem online and liked it right away. It’s a VERY cozy 2-story cabin with decent space! we had 4 people and a 5th friend visited us also and we all got comfortably. Cabin is well equipped, very clean, roomier than you’d think and comes with games to entertain you while you’re staying in. Heater system so strong we had to turn it off at one point! next time i come up this way, i am without a doubt going to boom this cabin again. Thank you Kevin, you’re awesome man.

Perfect Little Getaway - Super Pet Friendly

You will not regret it… Beautiful warm and inviting Cabin. We had an Amazing stay for my husbands birthday weekend. It’s not easy to find a true pet friendly rental, Cabin763 encourages you to bring your fury pets along. Cabin 763 checked all our hospitality boxes: Friendly, kind, and understanding hosts Kid friendly (games, movies etc.) Cleanliness Amenities (snacks) Organized And super Pet friendly Staying in was a treat… We ordered and picked up (under 10min walk) dinner from the Bear House family restaurant. Recommend the ribeye steak and babyback rib dinners. Thank you again Kevin/Patti, your open communication and aim to please attitude, is what makes for perfect hosts. We look forward to returning, to Crestline some time in December-January, we’ll be sure to check for Cabin 763’s availability.

Charming Dog-Friendly Cabin for a Long Weekend!

We have stayed in many VRBOs, hotels, etc., and it is rare that something exceeds my expectations. This one did! From the initial reservation to the stay itself, to check out, this was a wonderful stay! This was the first trip we have taken anywhere since pre-pandemic, so I had high hopes. Kevin, the owner, and Patti, the property manager, were excellent re: communication, and everything was extremely easy and smooth. The cabin itself was utterly enchanting and well-appointed, with every amenity imaginable, and more! You can tell that Kevin is the kind of owner who really wants his guests to enjoy their stay, and it showed in every detail. The decor was modern/mountain and updated, with cozy comfort and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Super clean - and I am picky about cleanliness! Loved the two decks, one off the loft bedroom with charming bistro table and chairs for morning coffee, and large ground level patio with chairs, tables and Edison lights for relaxing evenings outside. It was busy in town due to the holiday, but we did walk 2 minutes to watch a fun 4th of July parade, and shopped at some of the charming stores. We like to cook meals at home, and this was easy to do in the cute kitchen with everything you need, even a coffee bar! The best part is that our dogs were welcomed here! It's often hard to find places that take dogs that are high quality, but when Kevin sent me pics of his own dogs enjoying the cabin, I knew we had chosen the right rental. There is even a cute fenced dog run area just off the patio that is super convenient. There is a lot of wildlife here (cool to see!), but be careful to watch your dogs when they are outside. The cabin is well-maintained and feels private, even though this is in a residential neighborhood with other homes nearby. We rarely heard neighbors, and since every home is nestled in between thick, tall pines in this heavily forested area, we didn't really notice other homes around us. One thing to consider is that you probably need to be in decent shape to stay here - there are semi-steep stairs from the parking spot down to the front door, then super steep stairs up to the loft bedroom (a great workout, haha). Also, the shower is a bit tight. These were not issues at all for us, but something to consider. Besides being dog-friendly, two other big pluses were air-conditioning and washer/dryer - these were great to have, and hard to find in So Cal mountain rentals. Highly recommend!

Perfect in Every Way!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this rustic yet modern cozy mountain cabin! Our 2 small dogs loved it too! From the complementary coffee/coca bar, jiffy pop popcorn, sodas, cereal and so much more, to all the incredible board games, sun deck w/BBQ grill and dart board! Wow! Immaculately clean w/washer & dryer too!! We will be back again & again! Patti & Kevin go out of their way to making sure our stay is the best! And Patti knows all the best places to hike and eat! 5-stars!

cozy cabin!

this cabin was absolutely perfect for a little getaway. my fiancé and i loved it and will definitely be returning. it warms up super fast and the electric heaters were very convenient. they supplied board games for us which was way cool. kevin and patti are both really helpful and friendly. 10/10 love this place and i’d definitely recommend it to anyone!

Mountain get a away in the time of Covid!

Perfect cabin for a get away ! The cabin was immaculate , clean . Kitchen was well stocked Utensils , lots of paper towels, even wine glasses and two shot glasses . Keurig machine and a coffee pot and came with lots of little kcups and Mugs for drinking a cup of coffee on the patio . Paper goods , pots and pans etc . Patio area was perfect for grilling and very easy to use . Overall i enjoyed my stay and bad the comforts from home , location was close to lake Gregory and to the marketplace . I will definitely be coming back !!!! Kevin and patti are good at communicating and very accommodating, very dog friendly !

Amazing little place!

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The owner and manager are always in contact and very helpful in guiding you in things to do! The cabin itself is gorgeous, none of that horribly gaudy grandma cabin decorations you see in most rentals. It was in the 90s during our entire stay, but both the upstairs and downstairs AC kept the cabin cool during the day for our pet and at night for us. Everything was clean when we got there and it was so great being able to do laundry too! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we are planning on renting this place again in the future! I would say no more than four people could comfortably stay there- the cabin is small and there are quite a few steps inside and out. The ONLY drawback was that you can’t really see the night sky from anywhere at the cabin as the tree cover is pretty substantial there. But you can just walk up the street for a clearer view at night. We loved our stay and hope to go again!!

Cozy, comfortable getaway

We had a wonderful getaway at Cabin 763. The cabin was very clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, salt and pepper, pots and pans. And there are free drinks in the refrigerator (soda and water) and a cupboard with cereal, oatmeal, instant ramen, and microwave popcorn. There are AC units upstairs and downstairs which kept us comfortable in the hot weather. Kevin, the owner, was super friendly and great about communicating with me about our stay.
