Välkommen till Tunt Rose's Place Bunkhouse som ligger i ett mysigt område i Monroe Michigan bara några kvarter från centrumens aktiviteter, konstshower, gallerier, restauranger, barer, museum, historiska markörer och gratis konserter och mindre än en mil till ProMedica sjukhus och Detroit Edison kol brännare och cirka 7 mil till Enrico Fermi-anläggningen. OBS: Bo under 30 nätter debiteras separat. Jag samlar in skatter själv och betalar efter behov.

När du kommer in i huset ser du vardagsrummet på första våningen till höger om ingången. I vardagsrummet finns rum som mörknar isolerade gardiner, en dubbel liggande soffa, en massagerstol och en extra stor vilstol. Det finns också en gungstol i trä och 43-i Wi-Fi Roku-tv.

När du lämnar vardagsrummet går du igenom matsalen med sex platser med fällbara stolar tillgängliga i källaren för att inkludera mer om det behövs.

Det finns två sovrum på första våningen dividerat med badrummet. Alla rum har 100% mörkläggningsgardiner och persienner, sängkläder med kudde- och madrassskydd, två handdukar och tvättdukar per säng. Det finns också en tvättkorg för varje säng, och en tote för ren förvaring under varje XL enkelsäng, garderober med förvaringsutrymme och massor av hängare. Varje sovrum har också nyckellösa dörrlås liksom ingången och bakdörren. Ett sovrum har tre bäddar och det andra har två sängar.

Köket har ett stort kylskåp och spis, diskmaskin, väggmonterad mikrovågsugn, gott om köksredskap, bageri, sängkläder, disk, glas, örter och kryddor.
Den andra berättelsen har två sängar i ett rum och tre sängar i det andra och samma funktioner som sovrummen på första våningen.

Den bakre verandan är innesluten en rökare lounge med plats för 7. Grillen är i trädgården. Garaget ingår inte.

Källaren är möblerad med ett skrivbord, skinn, soffa, andra kök med en bärbar diskmaskin och alla bekvämligheter. tvättstuga som inkluderar en hög separat dusch, halv bad, tolv toppbord, med ett annat bord veckat mot väggen och åtta extra hopfällbara stolar, en bar med plats för sju, 50-tums Roku Wi-Fi-TV och stereoanläggning, extra TV och brädspel på en vagn för spelare.

Hidden gem

Property manager was nice and friendly. Very informative about the area. What we liked the most was the property manager was just a phone call away. This was a very comfy place with a full basement.

Perfect

Aunt Rose was wonderful to work with and her lovely home suited our group perfectly. I loved her organizational skills for each person’s personal space, towels and laundry baskets. Very thankful to have found her place for our Thanksgiving stay in Monroe!!

Beware

The bunkhouse was clean but very quirky. The owner doesn't appear to visit the home often as the dishes, pots/pans are very misplaced and missing (for example, there were not glasses). The instructions to get into the house were wrong and the door lock wasn't working. So, that was annoying. Two friends and I made arrangements to stay with our dogs because we were in town for the dog shows. Aunt Rose claimed to be surprised that we had 4 dogs even though there was never any number specified. She threatened to have us evicted and accused us of watching dogs urinate on the floor after sending her maid over to the house to try and fix the lock and find glassware. Then she offered to let us stay for more money but I never saw that message as the VRBO app wasn't working and she did not text me. So, when I didn't respond to that message, she sent me a message at 2am saying to leave in the morning. That left us getting 5 hours of sleep and leaving by 7am and then having to find a hotel. Aunt Rose charged us $600 in fees on top of a night's stay. This is an incredibly unprofessional host and I am disputing the charges and our treatment. We have never had any issues traveling with our dogs until this trip.

perfect for our group of fisherman

Property located in a residential area. Hope our noise level was ok for the neighbors. We bought a new grill for use. Current one non useable, not an issue for us at all. Will rebook next year. Beds perfect for our group, which has been an issue for our tall guys in the past.

Hello, I'm Aunt Rose, a retired utility worker who had to be in hotels more than home. I would have loved to have a place like Aunt Rose's Place to stay while traveling! I lived in this home for 23 years and hosted all the family gatherings . Everyone would meet at Aunt Rose's Place for the Holiday Dinner, hence the name. I hosted between the holidays while everyone had time to gather, and I was less likely to get called out to work.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Aunt Rose's Place Bunkhouse is located in a wonderful neighborhood filled with families who frequently walk to the parks, riverwalk, and downtown venues. It's a dead-end street, nice and quiet. Neighbors are friendly and we appreciate you carpooling to reduce congestion in the street. I raised two sons and countless of their friends in this house and it holds many wonderful memories for each of us. Please treat her lovingly.

There is a popular park at the end of the street where free concerts happen durring the spring and summer. They have a great playground and it's right next to the river if you have a license. (Clean fish outside please and thank you) Go east on the walk/bike path past the River Raisin National Battlefield Park and on further into the trails of Sterling State Park with public beach access.
If you go to the right, west, at the end of the block, it's a nice walk along the River Raisin to the YMCA, Vincent's Hotdog Stand, and several war memorials.

I've made my Aunt Rose's Place properties cozy and stocked with amenities to make you comfortable and able to house up to ten in individual beds. Just bring your personal belongings and pick up some groceries. We have toilet paper, paper towels, and many extras to get you started and guests leave yummy's behind so look before you shop! We use room darkening and blackout curtains to help those working shift work, and facilitate feeding and entertaining your family for a (short) holiday gathering or feed a team coming to work in Monroe.

It is such a sweet deal when you divide the cost by up to ten overnight guests, and considering you are getting two kitchens, two living rooms, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms with keyless entry.

I provide ROKU wifi tv's so you can log into your own systems like you are home. It has plenty of free tv and movies as well. There is also a stereo system next to the bar in the basement.

There is an enclosed back porch, cement patio, and a grill in the backyard.

The teams of workers who have stayed have said it was exactly what they needed and that they will be back again! That warms my heart. I wish I had an Aunt Rose's Place to say in while I worked on the road.
