We bought the house in August 2019 and have spent 6 months renovating the house to a very comfortable standard. We have installed a third bathroom which is now the en-suite for the master, the pool has been resurfaced and the floorboards have been sanded and waxed to ensure comfort.
We originated from WA and now reside on the Sunshine Coast to be closer to our families, and we love the QLD lifestyle and rain, rain is awesome.

Then the Donnybrook Retreat is the place for you, you can relax in the Cabana overlooking the pool, take a dip or just watch the kids, make use of the BBQ and Kayaks provided, or just relax in air conditioned comfort to escape the heat.
We have created 2 seperate TV areas with a Theatre room in the back of the house for those who wish to enjoy a movie or PS3 game while the front living room has a TV opposite the large kitchen that you can watch while the kids do their thing, the yard is fully fenced and we have a security/sensor light in the front.
There is a carport in the back yard to keep your vehicle undercover.
An outside table and chairs on the front verandah is a lovely place to eat meals or just hang out and slow down to the local pace of life.
Across the road is a huge reserve area ideal for a stroll or a big game of cricket or footy for the whole family.
Take leisurely strolls along the waterfront or take the kids down to the skatepark and playground for some fun or to shoot some hoops.
Drakes supermarket Caboolture is 15 mins down Pumicestone Rd for fresh fruit and veggies and all your shopping needs and the Big Fish Bottle Shop is located on the east side of the highway next to petrol station and Red Rooster.

The Donnybrook Retreat offers comfort for the whole family with living areas downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, there is a theatre room with a PS3 and 4 remotes to play games (some provided) and watch DVD’s (some provided) and a chrome cast facility for streaming from your device to the TV.
The house is only 400 metres from the boat ramp, the Donnybrook bait and tackle café and walking distance to the Donnybrook Sports and Community Club which opens at 3pm everyday and serves dinner til 8pm. They offer barefoot bowls and karaoke every 2nd Saturday night and sell takeaway drinks.
Donnybrook is the perfect place for relaxing and fishing, boating or kayaking it is a quiet lovely little town only 45mins from the Brisbane CBD , 15 minutes from Caboolture and 25 mins from Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast,
If you are prepared to take a gravel road you may be provided with a unique opportunity to see some local wild brumby's on the Beerburrum-Donnybrook Rd in the morning or late afternoon.
