Tack för att du tittade på vår lista! Vår lägenhet på bottenvåningen har 1 sovrum 1 badrum och en bäddsoffa. 4 sovplatser. Det är DIREKT OCEANFRONT & BEACHFRONT (50 steg till stranden) !!! Stor sluten privat uteplats! Denna enhet är oklanderlig och stolthet över ägande är uppenbar hela tiden. Maalaea by är en pärla med sitt centrala läge och dess fantastiska handelsvindar. Det ger en sval bris som håller temperaturen precis rätt.

Vackert anlagda grunder med pool och grill. All stress du har kommer att smälta bort. Koppla av i poolen och njut av havsutsikten medan du kopplar av i Mauis solen.

Perfekt centralt läge för att utforska ön! Eller ta en dag för att bara koppla av för att få ett glimt av gröna havssköldpaddor som rullar i bränningen eller bobbingar upp för luft, till och med solar sig på stranden. Under vintermånaderna (november-april) kommer du att ha en främre rad för att bryta valar när de kommer tillbaka till öarna för att föda, sjuksköterska och leka med sina unga!

I slutet av vår cul-de-sac ligger Sugar Beach, en 1-2 minuters promenad från enheten. Sugar Beach har den längsta sandstranden på Maui. 5 miles avskild sand att gå, springa och bada. Sugar Beach är mycket avskilt och har knappast någonsin folkmassor. Sockerstranden är skyddad från vägen av de fågelfyllda dammarna i Kealia Wildlife Refuge. Det är så fantastiskt att gå denna strand och bokstavligen känna att du har allt för dig själv!

En 5-10 minuters promenad i motsatt riktning tar dig till Maalaea Harbor där du hittar en liten mataffär, gym, deli, restauranger och Maui Ocean Center (Mauis turistattraktion # 1), Pacific Whale Foundation, minigolf , shopping och de flesta av de havsaktiviteter som finns på Maui (valskådning, kryssningar vid solnedgången, djupfiske och snorklingsturer). Centralt beläget Maalaea gör det enkelt att komma överallt på ön. Cirka 15 minuter från flygplatsen, en 5 minuters bilresa söderut och du är i Kihei och lite längre, orterna Wailea. Tjugo minuter västerut ligger den gamla valfångsbyen Lahaina, med många butiker och magnifika Banyan Tree! Du kunde inte vara på en bättre plats att utforska allt Maui har att erbjuda!

A nice place for vacation

The apartment is located in a 3 story building which looks like a small hotel. It has a shared swimming pool, a shower to rinse after beach at the beach entrance, a barbeque area, a parking. The apartment is pretty spacious, well equipped and clean. The hosts communicated very well and quckly addressed an issue we had with the sink dranage.The location is really on the beautiful beach with turtles.

Quiet Condo with easy beach access

We had a girls trip and the condo was a great place to come home to after a day at the beach. Super quick beach access and lovely neighborhood. I liked that it was away from the large resorts.

Your condo was just what we wanted. The close proximity to the beach made it easy to just relax with our feet in the sand. Which is exactly what we wanted.

It really was just steps from the best walking beach on Maui. The condo was clean and had everything we needed on our stay. The property had beautiful landscaping and we loved sitting on the patio. The only negative (not anything to do with this unit) was parking spaces were so tight, it was an adventure getting in and out.

Overall very close to the beach and the water beach toys. As a "Newly Remodel" properly few of the lights and electrical stockets didnt work. VRBO and Expedia communication on the rental of this unit was a total miss as we were overcharged! Won't rent using VRBO thru Expedia ever again.

Strong sewer smell outside the unit however did not notice inside. Location is convenient and worked fine for a few days. Unit was clean and comfortable however could not get bedroom TV to work. Pool area and beach areas are tiny however we were not there for beach or pool.

Unit is NOT ocean front or ocean view, Complex is

The unit itself was fine. We slept there and made breakfast - that's all. It was fairly clean and updated. Plenty of new cabinets. However...Unit's view is of parking lot where construction was happening. Pool was closed and not available. Toilets and sink had to be plunged numerous times in a 4 night stay. The black shower curtain liner grossed me out - it didn't show the mold and mildew but you knew it was there. White liners are cheap and replacing it every few months would be better than a black one. When I rented the listing said Ocean Front in all caps. You cannot see the ocean from the unit. Other units ARE ocean front, this one is not. Parking places were few and tiny requiring us to park on the street. Furniture is typical condo tropical styles of years gone by. Windows needed to be cleaned. We tried to watch the two NFL playoff games on TV but they were not available on what the owner provided. We did get a good last-minute deal at this property. If I had paid the full price per night plus taxes and cleaning fee and VRBO fee I would have been a very unhappy camper. Hono Kai is not my favorite resort in Maalaea and I am not likely to return here.

Much Needed Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property owners are very responsive. The location was perfect for us. Just steps from the beach and a very quiet location. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice place by the water!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is is only a few steps from the ocean and the beach isn’t busy. The condo is clean, the bed was really comfortable and soft. The only thing I didn’t like is you had to pay for laundry and given that we are Canadian and we didn’t really bring cash, this was a pain and something I wish we had known sooner. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect location!

Exactly what we needed for our short getaway. Centrally located to all parts of the island, short easy drive from the airport and right on the beach. Owners let us know we could check in early which was really appreciated! Towels and spare blanket must have been out away a little damp as both smelled of wet basement. We left the condo a little cleaner than how we found it but not terrible. Would use again!
