Huset om för närvarande helt renoveras och kommer att ha helt nya möbler, inredning och kommer att ha vibbar från Ernest Hemingway dagar. Renoveringen kommer att vara klar i slutet av mars. Bilder kommer att publiceras vid den tiden. Hemmet är en 1 minuts promenad till den lilla privata grannstranden, sjöparken och fiskebrygga. Beläget i det historiska stadsdelen Rye Beach, är du bara 10 minuter från Cedar Point, 10 minuter till Nickel Plate Beach, 15 minuter till öfärjan, 5 minuter från bra shopping, restauranger, naturreservat, fiske i världsklass och mer!

Family Trip to Huron

We had a great stay at this property. It was the perfect house to fit our large family. Great location for parks, beach access, and lots of fun adventures. Overall it was a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Cedar Point Stay

Great location with just a short drive from Cedar Point. We were a party of 10 and there were enough beds for everyone and we love being able to all sit at the table for breakfast.

Good place to stay at lake Erie and visit cedar point

House is nice and well for a larger family. Jimmy was a great responder when there was an issue. Rye beach community itself is beautiful located but a couple of empty / worn down places were not so nice.

The property was just what we were looking for. Our family planned a few days in Sandusky to go to cedar point and the beach. The property is located minutes from both. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Lake Erie Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It worked well for our group of three families with six adults and seven school age kids. Location was convenient for Cedar Point, Nickel Plate Beach, and day trips to Cleveland.

Three generations

Stayed here for a college graduation. Three generations of family. Loved the house. Nice bedrooms and privacy. Master bedroom perfect for grandma. Big dining room table was great for late night card playing.

Beach rental

The place is decorated super cute, is close to the water and had plenty of space for our group to spread out. However, some things in the house need repaired. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again.

100% recommend

The property was perfect for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ranging 4-11). The kids loved the short walk to the park and water and would have spent all day there if we let them! Short drive to Cedar Point and other local places. Highly recommend the Cooke-Dorn House and the Merry-Go-Round Museum. We will absolutely be back to this house in the future!

Funeral friends

It was a nice location for friends to gather from all over while in town for a funeral. Lots of rooms, bed, and comfortable place to hang out and chat together. Very clean. Could use more outside lighting, as we arrived late at night, but very nice location and helpful manager.

Great for large families

This property was as listed and perfect for our family of 10. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. We love the outdoors and the patio was great both to eat on and to relax at the end of the day. The neighbor was friendly and nice to talk to. We were close to many fun things to do and were able to enjoy a nice quiet setting. The private park was a nice addition for a short walk and beautiful sunsets.

Close to what we expected

Location not quite what I expected. Remodel was ok but could use a little improvement. Very sparse on kitchen supplies and weren’t very organized. 2 bedrooms upstairs have no closets😩. But overall experience was good and served our purpose for the week we stayed

House was very spacious and clean, only complaint my friends and I had was the listing online is very misleading. The listing shows it’s on a beach, a bonfire pit, etc. Overall very pleased with the home though.

First floor inside handicapped access

Just wanted to let you know that the downstairs inside the house is handicap accessible. My husband could use his wheelchair to get into the first floor bedroom and doorway of the bathroom.

We chose this area because of its proximity to all the great area attractions. I spent most of my childhood traveling to Lake Erie and wanted my children to have the same experience. My father grew up on the same street as our home and the area hold many fond memories!
