En snyggt designad och renoverad lÀgenhet med högt i tak, trÀgolv och högkvalitativa finish, belÀgen i ett fantastiskt ombyggt 1800-talet viktorianskt bryggeri (klass II noterat) med utsikt över en magnifik gÄrd. Obs: lÀgenheten ligger pÄ 2: a vÄningen; som en historisk byggnad, har ingen hiss (hiss). Men det Àr trevligt att vara lite historia, det var en gÄng huvudkontoret för det största bryggeriet i England.

LÀgenheten har ett ljust privat vardagsrum med massor av ljus och ett sovrum med dubbelsÀng, perfekt för par eller familjer med full integritet. Det finns ocksÄ ett modernt, fullt utrustat kök och ett badrum med badkar / dusch. LÀgenheten Àr cirka 58 kvadratmeter. TV och wifi / internet ingÄr. Byggnaden har en stor gemensam takterrass med utsikt över London, perfekt för en bbq eller ett glas vin. De gemensamma omrÄdena och vackra St George & Dragon skulpturen pÄ gÄrden har omsorgsfullt renoverats.

Whitechapel Àr en alltmer trendig plats vid den östra kanten av hjÀrtat av centrala London (den faktiska historiska staden London eller "kvadratkilometer"), och tunnelbanan tar dig till alla platser pÄ nÄgra minuter.

Stor plats: Bara lÀngs marknaden Àr Whitechapel Art Gallery (den viktigaste moderna konstgalleriet efter Tate Modern Art Museum), och Brick Lane (med massor av pubar, restauranger). 10 minuters promenad bort Àr Shoreditch och Hoxton omrÄden, som Àr de trendigaste omrÄdena i London med sina pubar, restauranger och designerbutiker. Nice and practical

Nice place to stay. Building is an antique brewery, and is very unique and special. We travelled with one kid and one toddler. The kitchen well equipped, towels and sheets very clean. Maybe the sofa in the bedroom must be changed because it’s very uncomfortable. You can find some guides of London, and for us was a nice surprise to find an international charger for cellphones and electronical devices!

The apartment is 3 min walk to the Whitechapel station and only 1-2 min walk to Sainsbury's supermarket. The hosts allowed to leave the bags in the apartment after checking out to collect them in the evening - that was very helpful. These are all advantages I can mention... Disadvantages: 1. If I wanted to visit eastern bazaar, I would go to Bangladesh or Pakistan - but definately do not expect to see bazaar in London. Check google street view before going to this location... 2. It is a very small threadbare apartment. There is some mould in the bathroom and very old looking creaky doors. 3. This a one bedroom apartment with one double bed and sofa in the bedroom and one single bed and sofa in the sitting room... Well, since the apartment is small, there is simply not enough space for all the beds and sofas. 4. There is a hospital nearby, so do not be surprised to be waken up at night because of the noise from emergency vehicles. Overall, I think the apartment was overpriced and on the lower end of the value-for-money scale...

Devo ringraziare il sig. Mok perche' l'appartamento era come descritto e dotato dei generi essenziali per un soggiorno. Il quariere e' multietnico ed, almeno per i giorni che ci siamo stati, tranquillo e piacevole. Vicino ci sono dei market ed anche un Tesco. Anche per mangiare non occorre spostarsi in metro perche ci sono dei locali piacevoli, consiglio il Chicken Shop. Senz'altro, la struttura nel complesso da consigliare

A Palace

We had a great stay at Mok & Rolf's place. The flat was perfect for the 3 of us and also allowed us to entertain family that lived nearby. The flat was bright and spacious for London, loved the kitchen (and the dishwasher was a plus while on holiday). Thank you for providing dishwasher tabs so we didn't have to go purchase them! The internet ran smoothly. It was lovely to have a washing machine handy as we had been travelling before we reached London. We only went to the rooftop on our last evening but I imagine that it would be a great place for drinks when it's warm. I knew that the flat was 2nd floor but at home the ground floor is counted as 1st so the 50 stairs are something to be aware of...especially when carrying a suitcase. Otherwise we were very happy and my daughter who lives nearby didn't want to leave as she felt like she was visiting "a palace" compared to most London flats. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

A week in London

My family and I (4 people) have just been in London for a week. Stayed in this appartment in Whitechapel. Very short walk to the underground trains and shopping in Sainsburys. Rolf and Mok have been very very good in helping with directions and so forth. Very professional !! Our stay was good but would have been 5 stars if the following had been satisfying: The two sofabeds/couches in the livingroom are either old or too cheap to start with. Our two thin girls (11 and 15) managed to sleep in them but I would have been very unsatisfied as a normal heavy adult as the hard interior of the beds was felt when lying on them. We suggest you buy something much much better. Especially the bed opposite the TV. The bed in the bedroom was very nice though. Wifi is working sometimes. Not always! In the kitchen it would be nice with a dishwasher that dryes the items. Everything is wet when the wash is done. The extractor fan is so noisy and vibrating that we didn’t dare using it. In the bathroom the ventilation didn’t work which gave us a very humid and wet environment. All in all it has been a nice stay but the above made it only Ok and not fantastic.

Perfekt fĂŒr eine gute Zeit in London

Nette, hĂŒbsch eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Es fehlt an nichts. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Die Vermieter sind sehr angenehm und hilfsbereit. Auf der Dachterasse kann man gut den ersten Kaffee am Morgen trinken und der Stadt beim Aufwachen zusehen.

En primer lugar destacar la amabilidad de los propietarios que a pesar de llegar el vuelo con retraso a la 1:00 acudieron a entregarnos las llaves a la misma puerta del apartamento. Los segundo la la cercanĂ­a de la estaciĂłn de Whitechapel con muy buenas conexiones a los principales puntos de interĂ©s de la ciudad. El apartamento estaba muy limpio quizĂĄ es mĂĄs pequeño en realidad de lo que parece en las fotos pero para dos adultos y dos niños es suficiente. Solo usamos uno de los sofĂĄs camas porque el otro tenĂ­a pinta de ser mucho mĂĄs duro y las niñas no han tenido problemas para dormir. El Ășnico detalle malo quĂ© destacarĂ­a es que, dada su proximidad a un gran hospital, por la noche se oye bastante ruido de ambulancias; eso sĂ­, como estĂĄbamos muy cansados, no tuvimos problemas para dormir. Estuvimos en todo momento en contacto con los dueños a travĂ©s de WhatsApp y ademĂĄs nos recomendaron una excelente empresa que contratamos para los traslados al aeropuerto. Gracias!

Excellent home

The property was clean and well appointed. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. Rolf communicated often with us, answering our questions, providing clear directions and accommodating our specific needs; he was always friendly and professional. The property is a 5 minute walk to the nearest underground station (in zone 2) which makes it convenient to visit the city. There are 51 steps up to the unit so it would not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. That noted, it was a great home and I recommend it highly.

Great apartment space that was perfect for my family of four at a reasonable price. Great location and close to subway and bus stops and only a 20 minute walk from tower bridge. Owners were very accommodating and responsive. I would recommend this place to friends and family and would happily stay here for future trips to London.

Gran amabilidad por parte de todas las personas que contactamos a través del WAPP,

Apartamento muy bien distribuido, con toda clase de electrodomĂ©sticos, wifi y multitud de adaptadores para enchufes. Muy tranquilo. El Ășnico inconveniente es el carecer de ascensor y tener que subir dos pisos cargados con las maletas.

Great Location in London's East End

We enjoyed our stay at this flat in Whitechapel. The underground is very close by which makes getting around very easy. Be advised that the second "bedroom" is more of a common living area with a fold out couch although it does have a door that closes. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of glassware for coffee, wine, and other beverages. We had some issues with a water leak but it came from upstairs and was therefore not Rolf's fault although it did hamper our experience a bit. Hopefully that will be resolved soon as this is an excellent space to rent in London.

Super appartement proche du coeur de Londres

Nous venons de passer un trÚs agréable séjour dans l'appartement de Mok et Rolf , à 15 minutes à pied on accÚde déjà à beaucoup de visites et avec le métro tout est accessible en 30 minutes maximum . Le quartier n'est pas super beau , mais aucun soucis de sécurité, il y a un grand supermarché à 50m. L'appartement en revanche est vraiment trÚs chouette , tout le confort est présent , il faisait beau durant notre séjour mais nous n'avons pas eu froid du tout (appartement bien isolé et chauffé). Les couchages ( 1 vrai lit 2 places dans la chambre , trÚs confortables et 2 canapés convertibles dont 1 pour une personne : mes 3 ados ont trÚs bien dormis sur ces lits). Nous n'avons pas rencontré directement Rolf ,absent durant notre séjour , mais il nous avait tout bien expliqué par mail avant notre arrivée. Bref je recommande vivement cette location et si nous revenons sur Londres nous relouerons cette appartement !

Affordable stay in comfortable apartment in London

The tube is very close to the apartment which makes it convenient. When we arrived, it reminded me of Bangladesh with the open market and the foods and smells. The apartment was comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed.

Good starting point to explore the city

We stayed for 6 days. The apartment has two rooms, entrance, kitchen and bathroom. The two rooms were good for us as a family, two adults and two boys. The pictures of the rooms make the bigger as they are, but is fine. Unfortunately, the kitchen and the bathroom has now windows. The other two rooms have and were equipped with an air condition and a fan, which was very nice as the temperatures were quite high for London. The apartment and the building is overall quite nice and quiet. The walk to the underground takes 5 to 10 minutes. There is a 24/7 grocery and a nice coffee shop around the corner. On the street very often a market takes place, were you can buy some vegetables and fruits, too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A nice flat, but not really suitable for more than 2 people.

The flat is advertised as a 2 bedroom but that's not really the case, It's a nice flat, albeit the equivalent of a 3rd floor flat without a lift, but it is not a 2 bedroom. The flat consists of a bedroom, a kitchen, a sitting room and a bathroom. The sitting room has 2 pieces of furniture that pass for bedding, but they aren't really acceptable. The bed in the bedroom is not comfortable at all, and the pillows and sheets leave a great deal to be desired.

L'appartement est bien placé, le métro à 200 m, le bus à 800 m (moins cher) les commerces à la porte. L'appartement correspond aux attentes et il est trÚs conviviale avec toutes les attentions du propriétaires. Beaucoup de générosité. Nous étions un couple de grands parents avec 3 ados, tous ont appréciés le logement.
