Great house, great stay!

Thanks Maria, The place was perfect for our group - we enjoyed the stay and were close enough to Ballarat and all its trappings to access easily and yet it felt like we were on a secluded retreat at the property. Great family holiday home !

Fantastic family home

We had family stay here and celebrated Christmas. The house is spacious with different zones for socialising. The tennis court was wonderful for the kids to burn off energy

Lovely homestead

Winter Stay

Thanks Maria for coordinating a lovely weekend winter stay for our 2 families. The house was cozy warm with the central heating and fireplace. Plenty of room for the adults in one living area and the kids in the other to have their space. Well supplied with everything we needed. Great location quiet but close to town & Sovereign Hill.

Great for big groups

House was great for 2 families. Plenty of rooms for kids to separate from adults. Fire was very much appreciated and such a lovely touch to already have it on when we arrived. Bed linen and towels included was also appreciated as was the extra tea, coffee, biscuits chocolates etc. Great variety of books and wifi was great because phone reception wasn't great. Would recommend to groups or 2 families.

Better than the pics!

Great secluded property, with a country-like feel and pretty views. Loved all the separate living areas etc. Very well stocked with love. Loved it! Came in Summer (not boiling weather) and the house was comfortably cool. Thanks for a fantastic stay!!!

Great break

The accommodation was fantastic, clean cosy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed tennis when it stopped raining and the fire and red wine when it didn't. Walked into the city centre one day and around the area on the other day. Very much recommend .

Perfect getaway

This property was perfect for a couple of families to getaway. The property was comfortable and the tennis court was fun. The location was great and we’d book again. Maria was very accommodating and the whole process was seamless.

Family Reunion

Quiet position with wonderful views through huge windows - ample room for everyone to find their own space - bonus was the tennis court for our teenage boys to release some energy - felt like a very comfortable family home.

Good space for big groups

We found the property great. Lots of space for our group who were travelling together for a rowing regatta. Bit communal spaces. Lots of bedrooms. Main negative feedback is there are a few things at the property that need maintenance / were broken.

Great value for a group

The large property with an excellent view it well-suited our family gathering of 8 adults. While the house is overall a bit dated there is lots of space, the bathrooms have been renovated, the beds were comfy and we loved using the tennis court each day. A great time was had by all.

Loved this family home for country get away.

Weather turned freezing and wet for November. The home was toasty warm, fire heater in the family room, plenty of space for the family to spread out….the tennis court a highlight when the rain paused. Absolutely loved our stay… would book again

Fun Stay in Bkack Hill

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house itself is cosy and has lovely views. The tennis court was a real winner with our boys and the close proximity to mountain bike tracks and running trails was awesome. Property owner left lots of lovely treats for our boys which gave the stay an extra special touch. Thank you

Maria's stayz is bar far one of the best we have experienced!

A well-maintained gorgeous property, lots of rooms, well kept kitchen, and tennis court was a bonus! Great location overlooking scenic Black Hill. The host has maintained a lovely book collection and neat fireplace. Excellent service, highly recommend for a quiet family getaway.
