Very nice, clean cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cabin. Very clean cabin in a quiet, well kept neighborhood. Very close to Terry Peak and a short distance into Lead or Deadwood.

Nice!

The cabin was very clean and in a very nice location. We loved the idea of having a washer and dryer right in the cabin. Had everything you needed, from towels, bedding, cooking utensils and a variety of games to play! The only down fall would be no air conditioning in hot summer months (but they did supply fans)and the pull out sleeper in the living area needs to be replaced.

Cute house with special host touches

The home was clean, easily accessed, with personal host touches that were very thoughtful and welcoming. The mattress of the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. It is uncomfortable with worn out springs that you can feel through the sheets and it creates a "hole" in the middle of the mattress. I had to sleep on the couch. It was depressing. Also not having wifi was a bummer. It stated that it wasn't available on the initial reservation sheet I just missed it so that was my fault. The fireplace was beautiful and kept the fall chill out wonderfully. The host left spices and sauces from previous guests so it was nice not to have to buy so many of those little things that add up. We left many of our own purchases as well. If the mattress is replaced and we come to SD again, I would happily reserve this VRBO again.

Customer get away

I took a customer of mine and his wife to the black hills for the weekend as a thank you. The cabin was perfect. Very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Convenient location to see everything

We stayed 4 nights and with the location we were able to see Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, Spearfish Canyon Road, Deadwood, and made the 1 1/2 drive over into Wyoming to see Devils Tower.

My moms bday trip

This rental was super clean and was stocked with everything I needed! The check in process was super smooth as well, and the neighborhood was quiet. The fireplace was a great touch too! I would definitely stay here again.

A perfect stay in the Black Hills

This cabin is the perfect distance from town to get the peace from a mountain stay while being close to necessities and close to all of the major attractions the area has to offer. (I highly recommend Spearfish Falls Trail!) The hospitality touches provided showed that they cared about even the smallest details to make our stay special. Everything was well stocked, it was extremely clean, and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Our kids loved the place and enjoyed the games provided. Thank you for making our stay a special one!

my stay in lead, co

first of all, let me explain the 1 star given for communication with property manager. we did not talk to the property manager at all or need to. everything was exactly where and at is was suppose to be as promised in communication with vrbo during booking. That being said i would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to rent a private cabin. The location was close to all the attractions offered in deadwood and the surrounding area and is perfect for those liking scenic drives and historical places. the cabin which is located near terry mt ski resort offers it own little adventure and while we were there were visited by various wildlife such as deer, squirels and turkeys. The cabin was fully stocked with everything needed from cookware, dishes and bedding to cleaning supplies and even firewood was supplied for the fireplace. i can say enough about the upkeep of this building and grounds and i would rent this again if we ever vacation again in the blackhills area. my thanks to the host and property manager for their diligence in making this place one of the cleanest and well kept places we have ever stayed including a few high end condos

excellent place to stay

3 of us staying here for a vacation. all of us are over 65 and this was the perfect vacation with all of the scenic drives and of course seeing mt. rushmore, devils tower, bear country and all of the sites in deadwood. the cabin was well suited for our party and everything was in excellent condition. the only thing that needs to be looked at is the outdoor grill which we were not planning to use anyway. the privacy was just what we were looking for and was much better than renting a motel or condo. i would recommend this site to anyone and if we decide to ever come out to this part of so dakota again i would try to reserve this cabin.

Cute, clean & cozy

Wonderful place to stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it a cozy place to stay, even including a sweet little welcome package at guests' arrival. We would definitely stay here again.
