Carolina Shores II 1203 - Oceanfront in Garden City Beach

Carolina Shores II, ocean front in Garden City Beach, is located just a half mile north of the pier. #1203 is a second floor 1 bedroom condominium with a queen bed, a built-in childsize single and a sleeper sofa. Tasteful, stylish and beach decor shows well throughout. There's an ocean side pool, ground floor elevator and coin-operated laundry to enhance the appeal of this complex. Parking is limited to one permit per unit. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Carolina Shores II is located 0.5 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This four-story complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. For your convenience, this complex has an elevator and a coin-operated laundry onsite. From Easter/April 1 to October 1, enjoy swimming in the oceanside outdoor pool. Pack your beach bags and chairs and take a short walk down to the sandy beaches of Garden City and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, golf carts, trailers, and pets are not permitted.

Great Beach Trip

Great location and the condo was clean and cozy! Restaurants in walking distance. We had a wonderful trip!

Not worth it

There is no parking, with having no where to park but on the side of the street across from the condo. We have 2 small children and having to carry them along with luggage, groceries, etc. it was awful. Multiple families were having to do this.. Our condo was not clean..there was dust all over the walls in the bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, the shower was dirty, the rugs had trash on them, the balcony still had trash in the trash can and dried food on the floor. It was not worth it for the cost of the ocean front and having to wait until 4pm to check in so they could finish cleaning when they didn’t really clean in the first place.

Great location. That’s about it.

The location and the views can’t be beat. Loved that part of the visit. The rest, not so much. The bathroom is bad. It’s small and dirty. The wall above the mirror was covered in dust. The tub was stained from so much dirt. We were not comfortable in there, at all. The condo is cozy, it has all of the amenities, but the bedroom is very small. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The closet would have been nice to use, but it was filled with blankets, pillows, vacuum cleaner, unused decor, etc.. It rendered the space unusable. The pool was not clean. The water was murky and when you could see the bottom, you could see it was filled with sand. The neighbors left their trash outside ALL WEEK. It started to smell. The condo building next door is being renovated. We realize that isn’t this building’s fault, but it was loud all week, from 7am to 7pm. Overall, we were not happy with this condo.

Super cute rental. Very clean, amazing views, good price!

Loved our week here. Can’t want to come back. The only con was there is not enough parking for all the units, so a holiday week was very hard to find one open parking spot.

Loved our stay in Garden City!

This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had. Great location with the beach right outside our balcony. Spent most mornings eating breakfast there. The only thing we noticed was the living room could have used a good dusting. This unit was a little older but has been maintained well. Would definitely rent again and recommend to friends.
