THE HOUSE
Nestled in a serene lakefront spot, our house offers tranquility just one hour from New York City. Beyond peaceful vibes, relish a spacious master bedroom, two cozy ones, and two neat bathrooms. Ample living space and a basement with a washer and dryer for convenience. A newly added fire pit right by the lake to enjoy with company or alone any time of the year. A perfect lakeside retreat for those seeking both tranquility and a quick escape from the city hustle.

UPPER LEVEL - MASTER BEDROOM + MASTER BATHROOM
Revel in a spacious master bedroom boasting a stunning lake view. Sleep cozily on a 12-inch memory foam queen bed, with room for two pack & plays (we offer one complimentary pack & play, available upon request). Enjoy ample closet space and a large master bathroom featuring a bathtub for a relaxing soak. Pure comfort with a picturesque lakeside backdrop. Extra pillows, linens, blankets, and towels are provided.


MAIN LEVEL

BEDROOM 1 + BEDROOM 2
Discover comfort in two queen-bed equipped bedrooms with closet space. All bedrooms boast very comfortable 12-inch memory foam mattresses. A bathroom with a convenient shower. Extra pillows, linens, blankets, and towels are provided.

KITCHEN
The open kitchen, illuminated by a skylight, is adjacent to the dining space. The kitchen is fully equipped with silverware, plate ware, pots and pans, oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. Coffee enthusiasts, rejoice! We offer a Nespresso machine with a few complimentary pods, a drip coffee machine, an Italian Bialetti moka (coffee not included), and a kettle.

LIVING ROOM 1
Enjoy the vast lounging and dining area (dining table seats 8 people comfortably) featuring skylights and a 20-foot window wall overlooking scenic Highland Lake and a 50 inch smart TV to enjoy from the big couch.

This space offers an IKEA Vallentuna sleeper module (Bed width: 31", Bed length: 78") and a queen-size air mattress is available upon request, though note that these additional beds are in the lounge area with no window curtains (limited privacy and light blocking).

Bask in natural light throughout the house, complemented by an all-around Sonos sound system. Stay comfortable with air conditioning and a Nest-controlled heating/cooling system.

OUTDOORS
Step into your private retreat with a backyard accommodating up to 3 cars. The lakefront area beckons with a spacious terrace featuring sofas, a dining table, and a BBQ grill for delightful outdoor dining and lounging. Venture to the expansive lake-level deck, boasting a private dock equipped with fire pit and lounge area, 2 kayaks, 1 big canoe, and 1 pedal boat – all yours to enjoy throughout the year. Unwind and make the most of your lakeside experience with these complimentary outdoor amenities.

CHILD FRIENDLY
Our house is well-equipped to host babies and kids. Upon request, enjoy one travel crib (pack and play, 25 x 35 inches), 1 highchair, 1 baby tub, children’s dinnerware, table and chairs, along with a selection of indoor and outdoor toys – all provided at no additional cost. Find these items in the basement, accessible through the hatch door, and kindly return them to their original location before checkout.

Safety is our priority – both the fireplace and stairs are equipped with guards and gates. The master bedroom comfortably accommodates two adults and two travel cribs (we offer one complimentary travel crib, available upon request). Rest easy and enjoy a family-friendly stay at our lakefront retreat.

POWER OUTAGE PROOF
No need to worry about power outages. Our generator ensures uninterrupted comfort, keeping the entire house running for several days in the event of any power disruption. Your stay remains smooth and stress-free with our reliable backup system.

** NOTE: For your safety, there are security cameras on the property (none of them inside the living space).

- Visible outdoor cameras monitoring the outdoors (none of them looking inside the house, terrace or dock)

- Visible cameras inside the basement monitoring pipes, machinery and spaces where guests are not permitted to enter.

QUIET TIME
Sound travels very far on a lake. Have fun but please be respectful of the community and avoid loud music or loud conversations or noise 10PM - 8AM.
