- Fully equipped kitchen if you like to cook and many terrific restaurants nearby if you don't.

A Place at the Beach is located in beautiful Atlantic Beach. This portion of Atlantic Beach has the widest beach on the island. This oceanview condo is on the courtyard side of Building L overlooking the playground, large pool with waterslide, and a great view of the ocean. Building L, where unit 210 is located, has an elevator and a coin operated laundry - both located very close to the condo. This condo is in a resort location with many amenities, such as: large pool with waterslide, indoor pool with jacuzzi, outdoor jacuzzi, playground for the kids, mini golf, table tennis, shuffleboard, corn hole, outdoor bowling, lighted tennis court and basketball court, gas and charcoal grills, picnic tables, gazebo with swing to watch the sunsets, and direct beach access. All needed extras are available for check out in the resort office from tennis racquets to corn hole bags.

A Place at the Beach offers free WiFi and onsite security.

The town of Atlantic Beach also has a very nice skate park, splash pad and playground a short distance from the resort.

You and your family will never find a shortage of things to do, so come enjoy the fun and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Perfect for a small family vacation

We had a great trip. The condo was clean and comfortable for the three of us (2 adults and 1 child). We had a great view of the pool, grounds and beach. The only improvement that could be made is the kitchen equipment needs an upgrade as some of the posts were very dated (one had rust in the bottom. Overall we had a great time.

Vacation

Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation! My daughters and I enjoyed all the amenities and easy access to the beach. Only issue was internet was spotty because they were working on it during our stay which my young adult children were not a fan of lol. Everything else was perfect and the place is beautiful!

We enjoyed staying at A Place at the Beach. Lots of fun things to do and right on the beach. The kitchen in this unit was a galley type kitchen with not much room to cook. Perfect if you plan to eat out most of the time.

I would do a 4.5 rating honestly. The take aways are there was sand in the apartment (not too shocking - it’s the beach) but there was substantial dust in areas. The kitchen is galley and hard to do much in at all (try to eat out). It is also has small moving room but with the amenities, it’s not a huge problem. The porch door was very hard to open and didn’t seem stable but we kept it unlocked. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the mattress covers made a lot of noise. But good place to snack up, shower and sleep. Amazing amenities and so close to the beach. It is a great stay and we will definitely come back to the community next year.

Nice place, great for families

The place at the beach is in a nice quiet location, but if you are looking for an adult only place to relax at the pool or by the beach you may want to consider a different location. This is a perfect spot for families to bring their children. A lot of amenities to keep the children busy.

Beautiful "Flip flop Bungalow"!

We truly enjoyed our stay at your property. We loved the resort and the quietness, the manicured lawn, and that it provides a security guard. Everything was clean and in excellent conditions. I highly recommend it as one of the best in the area.

Atlantic Beach Trip

The property was a good size for our family of 5. The owner was extremely easy to work with and very friendly. The location to restaurants and shopping was really nice as well. My kids loved the pool and the slide. Being close to the beach made it an overall great experience.

Wonderful Condi Conplex, great view

We had a great experience staying in Miss Pierce’s property, she was great communicating with us. We drove all night to get there in the morning for a beach day, kids were cranky and tired and we got into the condo early. The beach is close to the condo and you can see the ocean from the balcony. The pool and playground were a ton of fun for the kids as well. A nice family oriented vacation place. The kitchen in the condo is pretty small and limited in equipment, my only negative. We had a wonderful littlw vacation.

Great stay

Owners are fantastic to work with and will accommodate adjustments if possible. I have rented at least five other units at APAB over the past dozen years and have found one with the amenities that suit me. Nice decor, comfortable beds, good appliances, comfortable LR furniture, near the elevator and laundry. Not to be overlooked are a laundry line with clothespins on the balcony to air dry bathing suits and towels so you don’t have to drape them over chairs or the tub. No small thing when ABAP doesn’t want those things hanging on the balcony rails. Also much appreciated are the tall balcony chairs so you can appreciate the ocean view this unit has. Some units have 24” high chairs and you can only see the balcony rail, which is a bummer. I highly recommend this unit.

Overall good experience

Property grounds are very well kept and maintained at A Place at the Beach! Pool is very clean. Check-in is very quick and easy. Parking was never an issue even during a busy holiday week. Our room was very beautiful and more comfortable compared to the bare bones unit we were in last year. Many supplies were available to us such as toilet paper, paper towels, charcoal, cooking supplies, etc. Clear instructions were given by the owner for arrival and departing. I did try to give the owner a call on arrival as instructed by the front desk to the number provided by the owner but received “this number is not accepting calls at this time” message and then followed with a text with no reply. The room was surface cleaned as far as the bedding, bathrooms, and wiped down surfaces, but the unit as a whole needed a deep clean as far as rugs, dusting, and spot cleaning furniture as I’m sure these rooms get used a lot. The HVAC filter needed changed as well. Also, management needs to find a better way to identify those staying on property rather than adult size wristbands that are supposed to be kept up with by kids all week long, or invest in some child sized bands. We had a wonderful stay and made a lot of great memories. I would 100% recommend this property and owner.

Great location

We stayed at this unit for 5 nights. Here are some observations made during our stay. Pro: A Place at the Beach “resort” was well managed. There was security and a good check in process. The pool, proximity to the beach and other amenities were great. Grills, basketball courts, etc were all great and in good condition too. Cons: This unit is not “recently remodeled” as described. Unless one would consider flooring and paint remodeled. It’s age shows everywhere else. Including the kitchen vent from the 60’s and AC unit that is ready for launch it was so loud. Don’t plan on using hot water in more than one location at a time. The TV’s were difficult to control and the instructions provided were not correct. We visited 2 other units while staying here. Both were definitely remodeled. This unit is far from it. There is 1 elevator for this building and it is at the other end from this unit. Slow and small making it difficult to maneuver carts. The elevator was closer to the beach end, fyi. No laundry in this unit but others do have available laundry. Their vents feed into the main walking areas so it gets hot and stuffy in the corridors. Navigating the complex can be confusing but after a few days you’ll learn what stairs go where. Overall: I would stay at A Place at the Beach again but I would consider a unit other than this one. Great place to stay

The property was fantastic and the condo was very nice. The perfect size for our family. We only had one issue, we placed shells found on the banister outside the condo and every morning we came out to head to the beach and someone had pushed the shells off the banister down several floors to the ground. Wish people would supervise their children and teens and teach them how to treat other people’s property.
