This is a unique 2 story antique building that has been completely renovated and sectioned into 2 small apartments on the 2nd floor. This property was designed with our guest in mind, to offer an oasis of peace, tranquility; geared towards meditation and relaxation. Though we are located only few minutes from restaurants, stores, hospitals, universities and much more, once you turn into our street, you will notice the quiet and serine atmosphere of the neighborhood.

Wonderful Space!

Perfect space for me to spend a couple of days in the area to watch my son play baseball at Chain of the Lakes (10 minute drive). Gladys, the host, was fantastic and communicated everything I needed to know about her place. Thank you!

The rooms were goodand convenient for our purpose.

The place to stay was fine, but there were no instructions or helpful information about common questions like how to get additioal towels, , what if any room servicing would be provided, what is available on the limited tv apps (e.g. no sports),etc.

The apartment was perfect for the purpose of the trip. We had easy communication with the owner and check In/out was easy.

Nice retreat

This was a nice place to homebase out of while in Florida. The central location allowed us to explore several regions of the central Florida area. The unit was clean and the location was quiet.

Mixed review

The owners have clearly tried to make the place comfortable but for us, it didn’t work well as we hoped. Inside, the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped although we didn’t do any cooking. The living room space is tiny. The bed is a queen which felt very small for us. The bathroom has a standalone tub w shower which looks charming but it was difficult for me to get in and out of. As far as cleanliness, the floor wasn’t clean. Finally I didn’t like the neighborhood. Several untidy homes with trash on the front yard. It was not worth a walk, even to the lake, where there was lots of trash thrown about. We had a few issues with the electricity; the owners responded fairly quickly.

Nice stay

This was perfect for our stay in Winter Haven before we boarded for our cruise. We had family about 7 miles away and spend most of our short stay there. But this was perfect for what we needed.

Quiet Clean Comfortable

This place has everything you could possibly need. It is super clean, super cute and modern. This was my second time staying here and I would definitely stay here again.

The property was a set of 4 small units. I didn’t realize we were upstairs, but it was fine. The place was clean and cool. It’s a small space, perfect for the three of us. I wouldn’t recommend anymore than a family of 3. The stairs and the high claw-foot tub could be an issue for those with accessibility issues. It’s a decent location to Legoland. It took about 15-20 minutes one way. Walk to Tom’s Diner 4 doors down for a great breakfast! Would stay again.

Perfect sized space for 2. Bed was comfortable and nice bathroom/ shower. Nice little kitchen. Safe feeling neighborhood. No complaints! We will be back!

Great location for a Winter Haven stay

This property is close to everything that you want to do in Central Florida. Parking is great, the venue was clean, and the WiFi actually works! There is also a wonderful restaurant at the end of the street!

We stayed here while we were checking out properties for a winter home. This property is close to lots of places to go in Winter Haven and for looking at winter properties in surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Great for solo / doubles trip

Place has everything you need. Great location in the vicinity of a lot of things. Multiple stores, many food options, movie theatre, it was perfect for what I needed.

The apt. was perfect for our needs. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Gladys responds very quickly to any needs that you may have. It was a nice week and home base for looking at neighborhoods and getting to visit with my grand baby. 😊
