A few quirks

Great Grand Lake location! Just a couple quirks to work out. Good to tell guests the heat won’t run if the fireplace is on. Also, the pillows were pretty grimy and while there is lots of kitchen wear, missing a lot of basics.

Great place in a perfect location!

The cabin was a great place for the 5 of us to stay. The great room came in handy since we didn’t have the best weather. It had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated. Being one block off the main street made going out to eat so easy. Short walk to the lake. We look forward to staying here again.

Birthday party stsy

The place was ok. Had to call to get a hairdryer which was needed with 3 women staying and attending a surprise party. Little things like poor quality TP, no Kleenex, hand lotion ( needed in high altitude locations) poorly stocked kitchen (not enough utensils, no measuring cups, serving spoons etc) made my impression less. And it was pricey especially for off season. And the clean up requirements seemed excessive. Especially with a high deposit. The location was great.

Anniversary week in Grand Lake

We had an excellent experience in Grand Lake here. The owners went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed our week long stay at the cabin. We appreciate their hospitality and would certainly stay there again. Thank you for helping to make our anniversary trip a special one.

Great outside patio with gas grill

Very nice place! The cabin is super clean and nicely updated. Lots of seating for everyone, inside and out. Totally enjoyed grilling on the lovely patio. Super close to the main street. An easy walk to restaurants and shopping and the marina and beach area. We'll definitely book here again!

Modern Conveniences + Nature = Perfect Stay!

My sister, Mom, and I really enjoyed some quality time together here recently. The cabin is well-designed, nicely furnished inside and out, and quite comfortable. We loved being right off Main Street with easy access to restaurants and shops and within a 5-minute walk to Grand Lake itself. Even without being so close to a RMNP entrance, this was a wonderful, relaxing stay, but the proximity to RMNP made our stay perfect! I will definitely stay here again - maybe this time we'll even invite the menfolk in our family!

Excellent Stay!

We come up to Grand Lake at least once a year, this was our first time staying here and we absolutely loved it. The cabin is extremely comfortable with space for everyone. We were able to grill out with other family members who were also staying in town and everyone had plenty of room. The space is super homey and welcoming, we will definitely be back! The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook and the location is awesome! The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Thank you!

Cozy home

My daughter and I stayed at this cozy home from a Saturday to Tuesday morning in Jan 2025. It was in a perfect location where we could walk to town or head out to some trails to hike.Let me start off by saying that I would definitely stay here again.The home does need a few things updated. The shower curtain in the main bath was torn at the top and the shreds were used to keep it on the shower pole. We had to get a can opener in town because the one in the home didn’t work.The directions said to wave your hand over the entry lock to begin the process of unlocking the door and that was not correct. We have used these entry locks before and we’re able to manage, but it should be changed on the site so as to not confuse the person trying to enter the home.There were few utensils to cook and serve with. One turner spatula and one split/worn wooden spoon.Also, the Wi-Fi on the directions for its use/connection was not correct. I contacted the owners, but never heard back from them concerning it. However, by changing the capitalization of the coding, we were able to access it, but it needs to be corrected. All in all, as stated in the beginning, this was a very nice place to stay for the two of us and we would stay here again. I hope this is helpful to the owners so that they can make a few corrections to make it better.Kay

Beautiful cabin and great location

We really enjoyed the comfortable, clean, and updated cabin. It's an easy 2 block walk to the cute town and it's restaurants and shops. There is very easy access to RMNP with many great trails and places to see the animals and has less traffic than the east entrance. This side is much quieter than the Estees Park (east) side. We would recommend this to any family looking for a quiet, relaxing family get-away.

Nature in style

This was the perfect property for our trip! The cabin was awesome and the location could not have been any better. For me, modern amenities are a must, even if it is a weekend with nature. This place was the best of both worlds, you’re surrounded by all things outdoors, but If you’re feeling like Netflix and relaxing you’re covered. And talk about perfect location…This place was Literally a 1-2 minute walk to restaurants and shops and about a 3-4 minute walk to Grand Lake! Safe to say, we would definitely stay here again.😊

Great Location on Grand Lake

We enjoyed our stay in Grand Lake. The location was perfect. We enjoyed driving into Rocky Mountain National Park and did an incredible hike to the summit of Mount Ida. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat on both Grand Lake and Lake Granby. Loved being walking distance from the beach and the historic Main Street. The property owners are easy to contact if needed.

A nice place to stay in a great place to be

This was a very comfortable place for my wife, two daughters, and I to stay in Grand Lake for 4 nights. The Pro's: location is incredible, just a block from downtown shops and restaurants and the lake; small but very comfortable place to stay; great place for a family stay where everyone gets a bed; good internet and cable Con's: communications weren't great through VRBO, as I requested a date change a few times with no response; had to research and find a phone number to call to resolve; back patio has nice furniture and grill, but was really dirty (hadn't been cleaned in long time) and we had to clean it up ourselves for it to be useful. On balance: the Pro's outweigh the Con's and we would stay at this property again.

Rented this property a few times. The property is always clean and a pleasure to visit. It’s located close to town with an easy walk. There is a playground nearby. Also an EV charge station. Two Charge Point stations. A very nice stay for our family.
