Perfect Year Round Vacation Destination. With lake access and hot tub

Welcome to Black Bear Cabin! Located in the beautiful lake community of Timber Ridge, our 5 bedroom, 2 bath, modern cabin has mountain views, 2 sunny decks, hot tub, fire pit & a 1/2 acre of property to play & enjoy! The cabin has year round access to a gated, private beach,bbq areas,kids playground, tennis,basketball,boat launch & marina. Conveniently close to the town of invermere shops & services, golfing,hiking & Radium/Fairmont hot springs. Ideal for family or friends getaways.


The space
Our cabin is a walk out bungalow located on a nearly 1/2 acre property of mature trees and plantings and a large open green space perfect for games and activities. There are 2 sunny deck areas with mountain views, a large fire pit, bbq and a hot tub!

The entire home is accessible to guests aside from one locked,owner’s closet. We try to keep a selection of condiments, spices, oils, coffee and other dry goods in the cabin for your convenience, so please help yourself!

The cabin has modern furnishings throughout, a fully stocked kitchen, all required linens,towels etc, games, art supplies. Netflix/ Prime TV and of course WIFI.

Located in Timber Ridge our cabin has access to many private amenities. Right across the street from our cabin is the private, gate access that leads you down the beach road to the Timber Ridge beach area. This area also has kids playground, tennis and basketball courts, more bbq areas and lots of walking and biking trails!

Nearby you will find many additional amenities in the town of Invermere as well as golfing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, zip lining, Panorama Ski hill, Fairmont ski hill and access to both Radium and Fairmont hot springs areas! Truly a 4 season destination!

Our cabin is a perfect getaway for friends or families of all ages and interests!

Guest access
Guest access and self-service check in via keypad. Code and additional information happily provided via email one day prior to arrival.

Private gate access and parking pass also provided for Timber Ridge beach area.

Other things to note
The hot tub is cleaned and chemicals are balanced weekly by a local company. If you suspect it requires an adjustment we have all the supplies you need and we are more then happy to help you with the process :)

Feel free to use the mesh net provided to scoop up any tree debris.

Perfect spot for a fun golf trip with friends!

Arrived to the beautiful property to find a clean, roomy, well appointed home. The location is perfect to explore Invermere and the surrounding area. We were there for a golf trip and had no issue getting to and from the courses in the area. The beautiful outdoor sitting area is a very nice touch. Will definitely be looking at this booking again for my next trip to Invermere! Thank you!

Amazing mini vacation

Had such a great stay at our Vrbo stay in Invermere. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our little mini vacation (would also work for a longer stay as well). The location was perfect and was a short drive from town. Overall amazing experience and would definitely book again!

Family celebration

Location good. Getting to the beach was not as expected. Thought it was a 5 minute walk but didn’t find a path that would have taken us there. Nice fire pit but stairs were sketchy to get down there.

Cleaner hot tub - lots of a debris and rock in the bottom when we got there Dishwasher was extremely dirty inside - moldy in the crack where it opens at the bottom - dishes out of cupboard weren’t very clean either Supply a map or better directions for how to get to the beach

Anniversary Party

Stayed with family for 3 nights in October for my in-laws 40th anniversary. Location is amazing and the home was perfect for our weekend. Well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Communication with the host was excellent as well and they were very accommodating of our requests. Would stay again.

Family Get Away - 7 ppl

We had a great experience at this property end of August 2023 Bradley was fantastic to deal with. Answered all our questions prior to check in as our son was working 1/2 days & needed internet to do so - it worked out perfect. BC fires were our original concern, thankfully was fine. It was hot and small AC is just in main room We brought small fans for bedrooms upstairs & basement was cool so perfect for the rooms downstairs. Highway is a block away & house faces main road so more traffic than we anticipated but settles down by 11 pm. Kitchen was set up with everything we needed & dishwasher is nice. We brought our crockpot so we could enjoy the day away and have dinner ready when we returned late. BBQ was very dirty- end of season ? Needs a good cleaning or grates changed. Just a suggestion Thanks for making the stay easy and enjoyable at this beautiful part of BC

Incredible property!

Wow, this home was beautiful and so well equipped! We stayed there with our two young kids and grandparents. Everyone had their own space and we were able to use the main living room upstairs for gatherings. Would highly recommend this home for your next stay in Invermere!

Absolutely loved it

This place was amazing, such a perfect escape. We enjoyed every moment. The location was beautiful, the house was so clean and affordable. We value affordability so much as it’s difficult now, especially considering the options we had. The hot tub was lovely. We really felt like this was home. Ladies golf getaway

We were a group of 6 ladies on our annual golf trip. This residence was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of space for us all. The house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a great addition! Bradley answered all questions within a very short time frame. We would love to come again!

Beautiful home

Beautiful Vacation Property

We booked Black Bear Cabin for 10 days for a family vacation (10 adults and 1 infant). The home is clean, modern and well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. Brad & Meghan have really put a lot of thought into the preparation of their vacation home to ensure that you can settle right in and have a wonderful vacation. From the Kicking Horse Coffee they left out to welcome us to the high chair and playpen for the little one, they really do make sure everything is covered. The property is easy to find and conveniently located and having access to the private beach area is an added bonus that we loved. If you are looking for a great property that is conveniently located and operated by wonderful, thoughtful hosts; I would highly recommend Black Bear Cabin. Thanks for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful cabin, we look forward to staying with you again!

Boating holiday

This cabin worked great for our 3 generation holiday. Having access to the boat ramp and beach area was awesome! We used the hot tub and played lawn games on the grass.

Black bear cabin was great

We had 3 generations on this family vacation. We all had a great time the house was excellent. Location was ideal and easy to find. The private beach area was really nice. We all had a great time would definitely rent this place again.
