Summary:
Maisonnets invites you to experience comfort and convenience in this spacious two-bedroom, two-bath apartment located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. With stunning views from floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area and bedrooms, all featuring block-out blinds, this apartment offers both style and functionality.

The apartment includes wall-mounted split-system A/C, a balcony with an alfresco setting for two, and optional parking available at a daily rate. The complex features a gym, swimming pool, and two tennis courts, with easy access to trams, Southern Cross Station, Marvel Stadium, Crown Casino, and a variety of shopping and dining options.

The Space:
Enter the apartment via a short hallway into a spacious open-plan dining/living room with an entire wall of floor-to- ceiling windows, showcasing a sensational view of Melbourne’s CBD (Downtown) . The dining area has a table seating 6, as well as another table and chair which can be used as a work station. A separate kitchen off this space comes equipped with a coffee-maker, 4-burner gas stove top, under-bench oven, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge. The dining area then flows through to the living space with a large, wall-mounted ‘Smart’ TV, an occasional chair and a sofa which converts to a bed for 1, bringing the total sleeping capacity of the apartment to 5 people if desired. This dining/living area is carpeted throughout and has a wall-mounted reverse-cycle air-conditioner to keep it a comfortable temperature all year round. The wall of windows has block-out blinds allowing you to control the light, while a glass sliding door leads out to a balcony overlooking Bourke Street, with its own table setting for 2 people and east-facing views of the CBD, including Southern Cross Station.

There are 2 carpeted bedrooms, both with built-in mirrored wardrobes and floor-to-ceiling windows, again featuring those expansive east-facing city views and block-out blinds for comfort. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and its own en-suite with a shower, while the second bedroom comes with 2 single beds which can be pushed together to create a queen-sized bed if needed. The main bathroom has a bathtub with combined shower and also houses a washing machine and separate dryer.

The building complex itself offers a swimming pool, fully-equipped gym, 2 tennis courts and a terrace with barbecue. There’s also a dedicated parking space for 1 car.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, you’ll enjoy all the conveniences that the CBD has to offer. Bourke Street Mall is just a stroll away, home to many major shopping retailers and close to countless shops and eateries in the surrounding streets and laneways that Melbourne is famous for. Marvel Stadium is less than 10 minutes walk away, with Southbank shopping/restaurant precinct just across the Yarra River. Federation Square, the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne’s Chinatown, Crown Casino and Flagstaff Gardens are also close by.

The apartment comes with its own dedicated parking spot which is 2 metres high and therefore suitable for small-medium sized vehicles. It's also in an ideal location for public transport, with Melbourne’s iconic trams just outside the building and Southern Cross train station only a 3 minute stroll away, offering metropolitan, regional and interstate services. Southern Cross is also where you can catch the ‘Skybus’ to and from Melbourne’sTullamarine Airport, for both domestic and international flights.

Other Things to Note:
* Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.


OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
* We can arrange parking for your stay for $35 per night.

* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.


* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.

* Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 4 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.

*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.

*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.

* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals by MaisonNets and is not a hotel.

* Due to strict noise policies in strata buildings and Australian council by-laws, guests must avoid making loud noise, particularly between the hours of 10 pm – 8 am. Please understand that guests who break this rule may be evicted and financial penalties may also apply, depending on the circumstances.

Great location, space and facilities

This apartment is very conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne just steps from Southern Cross Station. We literally walked out the door and stepped right on to the tram to get to the Bourke St mall. Very spacious apartment, great gym and great communication from the Maison Nets.

Excellent well appointed apartment

We stayed for 6 nights in July at this excellently located apartment. The tram into Burke Street mall is literally just outside the front door of the complex. The apartment itself had everything we could have asked for with extra pillows and blankets in abundance and a well stocked kitchen with more than enough crockery and cutlery. The hosts and concierge could not have been more helpful and responsive. We would recommend this property without hesitation.

Super convenient location 2min walk from southern cross station. Great size apartment. Plenty big enough for 3 of us. Would be great for a family of 4. Good amenities and comes with cooking facilities and condiments. Would stay again

Handy and comfortable

Well equipped and located 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with access to a gym and pool. Good location near Spencer St station with a free tram stop right outside. Helpful and friendly service from the building concierge staff. Little bit noisy weekend nights due to the pub and nightclub across the road.

This is truly a beautiful property in a great location. Tram was directly outside making it easy to come and go. The pool was a massive hit with the boys too.

Be wary - once you have paid they vanish

We had a few issues with the property (broken blind wouldn’t close, oven didn’t work, check in process) and we could not get any support. I emailed directly and through stayz over three days and got no response. They sent automated emails to check everything was okay, but they don’t check or respond to them. They use an overseas service to manage the bookings, so they can do nothing to actually help you. Before we arrived, they asked us three times what time we would arrive. Each time we repeated ourselves with the arrival time. (Again, I can only assume and automated, person-less process) so when we arrived, the place was not ready. Even then, when they said it would be ready, we still had to wait another hour. They were double-dipping on bookings. The previous guests paid for a late check out and didn’t bother to tell us. We had been up since 3am and travelled most of the day. We had to pay $50 to have our bags held until the room was ready. It wasn’t until after we checked out that they offered an apology. I’m not really sure they were aware or cared what impact it had. No compensation offered. Best to avoid if you want a hassle-free trip!
