Had a great time!
Everything was normal, exactly what we signed up for. A shame the pool closes at 11 now.

This was the perfect spot for vacay with my family. Easy walk to the beach and the pool is great. We have stayed at these little condos for years and will continue to do so.

Great location, so many flies
Overall our stay was good but there were SO many flies in the condo from the moment we checked in. It was a little small for 4 adults, a toddler, and a dog, but we were outside a lot so not really a big deal.

Great location, a bit dirty.
It was a great location, quick access to the beach. However, the dishes had not been cleaned, there was trash and food underneath some of the beds, and there was dirt or something on the pillows. We actually left a day early because it just didn’t seem clean.

Steve, thank you for your feedback. That is great that you liked the location of the property and quick access to the beach. We apologize for the inconvenience the cleanliness caused during your stay. I have reported it to my housekeeping team and I can ensure you this is not a Padre Escapes standard. Reviewer Comments:
My husband and I have stayed at this condo before the renovations. The renovations were nicely done. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable and loved the updated shower in the master bathroom. I would suggest two things for this condo: a full length mirror in the master bedroom and a deadbolt on the front door. The property is in a great location, a half a block from the beach. Padre Escapes is always communicative and there if you need them.
Svar från VrboOwner 7 okt. 2025
Thank you so much for staying with us again and for your kind words about the renovations in Beach Club 161! We’re delighted to hear that you found the condo comfortable and enjoyed the updated shower and beds. We really appreciate your thoughtful suggestions about adding a full-length mirror and a deadbolt on the front door, those are great ideas! We’re glad you love the location and that our team at Padre Escapes was helpful during your stay. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
UPDATE: Deadbolt will be installed this week. Full length mirror is being looked into! Again, thank you for your awesome suggestions! -Padre Escapes

Great weather and location. Kayaked among the wonderful shorebirds almost everyday. Used the sparkling pool and hotub. Walked to the beach and boardwalk from the unit. Shopped at the isand supermarket and ate at the wonderful local eateries. 80 degrees in November is remarkable.
