This cottage is about 100 years old with amazing views and was moved on to our 7 acre lifestyle block with Homestead nearby.
It has been insulated and painted
It is studio style with a queen double bed in the living area. There is a Smart TV ( Freeview} and radio./CD . It comes with cooking facilities, fridge and separate shower and toilet
Wifi available , Towels, bedding , Pots and pans, plates cups and saucers etc.
Mangawhai Village 20 minutes, Te Arai Point 20 minutes , Wellsford 15 minutes
Recommended for peace and quiet in lovely rural surroundings with a covered veranda to enjoy the northerly views

Simply wonderful

I had beautiful days in this cute and cosy Bach. It is surrounded by a lovely garden and green hills. Very near to great hikes at Te Arai point and Mangawhai. Susan and Paul are the most supportive and friendly hosts I can imagine. Highly recommended, will be back!

Wellsford Farmstay Serenity.

Paul & Sue welcomed us to their farm & wonderful self contained cottage located adjacent to the main residence. From the first introduction our hosts could not do enough for us to ensure we had all we needed for our stay. Their friendly local advice saved us having to do trial & error in most of the important matters contributing to daily life plus giving us the places to see & things to do whilst in the area - a greatly appreciated help. From within the cottage the views both toward the south & north out over the surrounding farming country are just magnificent & relaxing. The property was excellent as were the hosts & their friendly cat Carlos also made us feel at home during our stay. When next we come to NZ we would make every effort to again share in this wonderful relaxing rural retreat. Thank you Paul & Sue Jones.

Lovely location attention to a few details would help.

enjoyed the quiet and views, was a bit frustrated as I could not get into the book a batch page as I forgot my log in , I had wanted to ask some questions of host before packing. Was very comfortable would have been good to have some sort of screen for flies and mosquitoes as could not open windows when hot. Hosts were kind . Felt the place could have been a bit better cleaned lots of cobwebs,hair and dust about. Floor was clean and surfaces. The 2 plate stove could not get hot enough to fry food adequately and so had to cook food for ages despite having it on high as possible...perhaps time to replace this?
