We absolutely loved our vacation at this beautiful, bright and cheery condo on the lake. Our walk-out room took us right to their very nice, sandy beach, just a few feet from our door. The patio had chairs for us to enjoy the sunset, which happens directly in front of your windows. Make sure you don't leave the minute the sun dips out of sight, because trust me, the best of the sunset is yet to come.
Our rooms were absolutely immaculate from top to bottom. I'm not the neatest housekeeper, but I am particular about the rooms that I stay in on vacation, and I have never seen one quite this clean. I was pleased as punch.
Everything in town was within a 3 to 4 block walk, and my favorite ice cream shops were only a block away, right by the beautiful downtown park on the water where people gather to watch the sunsets. There is so much to see and do in the area. Don't miss the Ironton ferry and the fun Landings restaurant on the water right by it. Another of our favorite stops is the Barrel Back Restaurant in Walloon Lake, which has a wonderful view of the lake. There is so much to see and do in Petoskey, and make sure you hit Harbor Springs in that direction. In the other direction is Charlevoix, with their beautiful river and pier walk.
Boyne City itself has some wonderful little restaurants, many of which have outdoor seating, which has been very helpful during these Covid times.
Our hostesses at Water Street Inn were excellent and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.
We are up there in age now, and it's quite a long drive for us to get there, but we hope to make another trip to Boyne City, and I'm keeping fingers crossed that we can get a room at this wonderful inn.
