Lyxigt ranch hus väntar dig och din perfekt för en familj träffas, flickor eller kille reträtt, eller till och med en romantisk helg. Ranchen är också utmärkt för att hålla en speciell händelse eller ett litet bröllop. Grunderna och lodgen har värd flera par, små sammankomster och återföreningar.
Ligger på 165 hektar av Texas Hill Country avlägsenhet och skivas genom James River, Bar No River Ranch appellerar till utomhusentusiasten som önskar integritet. Ranchen ligger i södra Mason County i Hill Country, utanför de historiska småstäderna Mason och Fredericksburg. James River går genom mitten av fastigheten. Ranchen har nu fiber internet vilket gör det till den perfekta platsen för ett företags reträtt.

På våren finns vilda blommor. På sommaren kan du svalna i en av de största fjädrarna i berget. På hösten njuter du bara av den kristallklara stjärnfyllda himlen. På vintern kommer utomhushällen att hålla dig varm. Vi är bara några hundra meter från Eckert Bat Cave en av de äkta underverk av Texas Hill Country. På kvällen hör du coyotes hylla på månen i avståndet!

Detta är en aktivt förvaltad djurlivsranch. Vi sårar sällan huvudfältet som omger skeetområdet eftersom det vimlar i vildblommor och är en fristad för hornpadder och små markfåglar. Så ta till sköt och kläder.

Titta på solnedgången från den 10-tums breda 360 graders wrap around veranda eller en av de privata picknickborden med utsikt över floden.

Det finns en trevlig paviljong som är utmärkt att hålla ett utomhusklassrum och vår WI-FI tror att inte fiber med hög hastighet!

Det finns ett helt skeetområde med höga och låga hus utrustade för att kasta lera mål. Plus ett helt gevärsperspektiv ut till 700 meter. Vi har också ett litet bermed pistolområde.

James River har flera små pooler där bas och abborre kan fångas och släppas.

Beläget i den vackra Texas Hill Country är platsen tvärs över James River från Nature Conservacy's Eckert Bat Cave. Porten är en midja hög sten med en nötkreatur grind målad som en Texas Flagga. Porten är lokaliserad cirka 100 meter förbi rockkorralet som går bort från floden på södra sidan från Mason. Fastigheten ligger cirka 50 minuter utanför Fredricksberg och 20 minuter utanför Mason. Observera att från Mason har du 2 grunda flodkorsningar och några grusvägar.

Not for everyone

This is a wonderful getaway place and we enjoyed our time very much. The place could have been cleaner and better organized, but overall we coped. They need to mow around the house to reduce goat heads and should have cleared the grass and weeds from the picnic area under the tree so we could use it. They could also mow clear pathways to the gun range and target. There were so many dirt dobbers and flies. They could set up traps away from the house instead of on the porch and clean out the wasp traps to maybe help and provide fly swatters. The issues we encountered were disappointing, but not issues everyone may face. We had a baby and 3 small children along with 2 elderly adults. We chose this place due to the gun ranges and water, but access to the water was not feasible for our group. Getting to the "swimming hole" requires a trek along a path through underbrush, trees, and rocks; how you get out of the water safely, we couldn't figure it out so we didn't get in. The trek from the roadway, was all rocks and a long walk. There was no way we could use the all-terrain wagon to get the kids to the water, much less the elderly being able to walk safely along the rocky path. That being said, we did enjoy our stay and made the best of the situation. We thought ahead and brought a water bounce toy and splash pad for the kids and were able to hook those up at the house. Some love and TLC would do this place a lot of good.

Fabulous Retreat….unplugged

Escape your busy life. Unplug for a few days. Total reset for our family. We had a fire on the porch every night, analyzed all our favorite songs. Enjoyed the remoteness of it all. Saw lots of wildlife, ate like Kings. We weren’t ready to come back to real life. Our host was amazing. Easy check in and check out. This is a good one.

Great place for a get away

Quiet, secluded, but an easy drive to Mason or Fredericksburg. Wildlife to watch at night, swimming hole and river chutes to enjoy in the heat. Plenty of room for a large family or group of friends.

Secluded Escape

If you want to get away without interruption, this is the place! It is way way off the beaten path. House is great plenty of room - it is in the county except dust to come in and critters outside. there is a TV but bring something to play on it over the wifi - the River crossing deeper than 6" (at least when we came) there is another route that is less washboard and only a lower water wet weather creek crossings (use the use the Fredricksburg directions) the dino bones were great - when they say the back feeder they mean across the river and way way back - the top of the hill back feeder. everyone had a great time including the dog. hiking, shooting, swimming, and sitting around laughing. - would definitely stay again

Great getaway!

This is a great place to escape! Our extended family came for a long weekend. We enjoyed the wrap-around porch to watch people shoot skeet in the distance while the little ones played on the porch. The river was a great place to take an “adventure” to for the littles. It had something for everyone! Tim was very responsive to any question we had. Overall, it was a great experience!

This is one of our favorite rental homes we have ever stayed at. Not only is the house great, but the property is amazing! There is an activity for everyone. The home is well stocked with just about anything you could need. Thank you Tim for always being an amazing host!

Beautiful Ranch in Hill Country

Wonderful property by the beautiful James River. It was a little hard to find but Tim stayed on the phone with us until we got to the House. Fully stocked house and tons of Firewood available for the beautiful wood burning fireplace. Comfortable beds with all the kitchen supplies you could want. The peace and quiet was so needed. The sunrises and sunsets on the porch could not have been better! During our stay we were going to experience some extreme temperatures. Tim had us extra firewood brought in, generator on stand by and home prepped for a freeze. Thank goodness never lost power or water. Will 100% come back. Didn’t get to use the gun range this time but I will on our next visit. Also, as women staying there we never felt nervous or unsafe. It was relaxing and just what was needed. Thank You again!!!

Peaceful ranch retreat

The ranch is such a great off the beaten path location! It was absolutely perfect for our family. We will definitely be back and make this a family tradition. Lots of wildlife and beautiful terrain! Host was beyond kind and welcoming.

Hidden Gem

This is a very remote home nestled in the beautiful hill country. Very bumpy dirt roads and river crossings are needed to access this beautiful property. My family (two parents, two in-laws, my husband, two teenage kids, myself and four dogs) went for a few nights to escape the busy city life. This place was beautiful and quiet. The river was close and easy to get to, though it was low. Skeet shooting was fun. We watched the bats emerge from the Eckert Bat cave each evening from the back porch. Lots of wild life as well. Owner was quick to respond and very kind.

Texas Hill Country

The home is beautiful and in an excellent location to view the wildlife and wildflowers. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the solitude. You may want to note that several water crossings are necessary to reach the property and they are subject to flash flooding. (Happened to us twice)

Beautiful quiet time in the country

We had bluebonnets and blue skies for our visit to the bar none! We spent almost all our time outside by the river or on the porch but slept comfortably inside. A really great family time. When we come again we’ll probably bring some bottled water but we did fine with the refrigerator filter water. Lovely time was had by all!

10th year staying at this ranch

My buddies and I have been staying at this ranch every year for the last 10 years. It’s a great place to hang out and catch up with your buddies. The clay shooting is fantastic and they just installed new throwers. The land is beautiful and we enjoy walking the property. We always enjoy the outdoor fireplace. We’ve already reserved the place for next January 2024.

Excellent location for guys weekend

This place is great for just the guys to get together without wife or kids. We enjoyed the skeet, rifle and pistol ranges as a group during the day along with the BBQ side smoker and amazing view of the stars at night.

property looked in the pictures that it was maintained about 10 years ago.. as of current the property does not have a gun range as in the description. The furniture was very very old and worn out.. Non of the pool sticks upstairs had any felt left on them so you could not even play a decent game of pool. THe property has potential but it appears that the upkeep and has not been there over the past couple of years.

The Perfect Ranch Getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Bar None Ranch! It’s a stunning property and offers loads of activities (swimming, shooting, hiking, campfires, BBQ, incredible stargazing- we saw breathtaking shooting stars!-, indoor and outdoor games, etc.) as well as the option to just relax and enjoy nature. Cannot recommended this beautiful ranch enough!! Tim was the perfect host- responsive and helpful when we had questions! Thank you so much for having us, Tim! We so look forward to returning!

My 50th Birthday

Friends and Family enjoyed the ranch and all it had to offer. Wildlife everywhere and some great catch and release fishing for the kids. Tim was very polite and helpful. It was a great place to celebrate turning half a century.

This property has been in the family for nearly 50 years. The lodge was built for family reunions and family enjoyment. It is very nice for quite weekends, family/friends get together, corporate retreats, training events when you want to do your own thing and not be bothered by anyone.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The 'Goodnight Loving' spring flows at over 200 gallons a minute has cut a chute through the limestone for some 400 yards and makes the perfect place to cool down in the summer even on the hottest of days. Picnic benches over look the James River the perfect place to watch the sunset and Texas stars like no other place. Full Skeet Range

In the summer time it is a one minute drive to the Eckert Bat Cave to watch the nightly emergence.

Just a two minute drive puts you in Salt Branch were 'Old Yeller' fought the herd of hogs in Fred Gipsons 'Old yeller'

There is virtually no light pollution and the stars are spectacular on a clear night down at the river.
